in a canon comic Vader actually uses force lightning when bleeding his kyber crystal, he creates a lightning storm so massive it nearly destroys the planet he is on
@@houseofaction We're comparing a Vader in his physical prime who is fully immersed in the Dark Side, to a Vader who is in his mid forties and no longer using the dark side to fuel his body. Many people gets confused and cringe over the Luke&Leia kiss and that somehow she'd always known. My theory is that they both felt that familial connection which they had initially mistaken for romantic attraction. I think when they kissed, they realised that something wasn't right. Just like when Lorraine kissed Marty in Back To The Future. Also that kiss Leia gave to Luke wasn't a passionate one. She just wanted to make Han jealous.
Also, I think Leia was just a very affectionate person in general. That was something that Carrie Fisher brought to the character. She went from calling Chewie a "walking carpet" to hugging him after their escape from the Death Star a few minutes later. Being Force-sensitive, she could tell instinctively if someone was a good person. I imagine Leia hugged lots of people. :)
When people get confused by her response, she doesn't mean she'd always known that they were twin siblings. She means that she'd always known there was some instant, deep connection between the two of them that she couldn't explain, and yeah it was initially mistaken for a romantic attraction, because often times when people experience a deep connection with someone, their initial reaction often times is to mistake it for a romantic connection (it's why some people work realize they work better as best friends AFTER being a couple). I think Leia was into Luke initially, and why she struggled with her feelings for Han because Luke is probably the kind of guy she WANTS to be with and the connection further prompted it, despite Han being the one she was really attracted to and hated it. She had deep feelings for Luke, but she could never put her finger on why and what it exactly meant. So when Luke finally tells her the truth about their relationship and the missing piece of the puzzle finally fell into place for her. Like the answer was in her subconscious the whole time, covered in a fog, clouding her vision of the answers, and it was finally lifted. Her mind went "Of course! 28:44 the emperor basically made Vader’s suit extremely susceptible to lightning in case Vader ever tried to do anything against him, he could just electrocute him.
Is that confirmed canon or just cool logic? Makes sense either way! Maybe also why DV never developed the force lightning skill? Tried once but gave himself a short circuit so never tried again!
@@stumilesyt I think logic is all that's really needed here, even with how convoluted Star Wars can be. It's stated he's more machine than man, and machinery when faced with a massive power surge will short circuit. With the machine part failing, it was only a matter of time before the man would die soon after.
@@digitalnative5678 Yeah, his power circuitry, especially the chest piece was very vital to his survival. During combat he'd protect that spot in particular with great need.
@@stumilesyt I don't think any of this is canon anymore, but in old canon it was explained that the Emperor made his suit vulnerable to lightning on purpose. And even more sadly he purposely made the suit as painful as possible for Vader, so that he would be in constant pain and anger. And I think in legends having robotic limbs meant you couldn’t use force lightning, like it needed to flow through a real hand or something - but again that could not be canon anymore. My head canon is that force lightning is like a pure dark side ability, and Vader was too conflicted within himself so he couldn't use it.
I saw empire strikes back in the theater When it first came out. We spent years thinking Darth Vader was lying. I seen kids fist fight on the playground over it. The sister reveal snuck up on everybody. "It was as if a 100000 voices cried out in horror, and were sudenly, grossed out."
I prefer to think of Episodes 4, 5, & 6 as one single story... so it doesn't necessarily make sense to pick a favorite. Each movie depends on the other two for their impact. Star Wars (ANH, 1977) introduces the characters and setting. The Empire Strikes Back is great but it is incomplete without Return of the Jedi. Return of the Jedi is great, but it's impact is completely dependent on the set ups from Empire Strikes Back. To me, choosing a favorite is like choosing a favorite chapter from your favorite book. The chapters are part of a cohesive whole and they all serve their purpose: comparing them to each other is not the most meaningful way of experiencing them.
RotJ is my *favorite* of the trilogy, but I think ESB is a better movie, if that makes sense. Also, The Battle of Endor is arguably the greatest space battle ever put to film, and the fact that they did it with 1983 special effects is amazing. There's a shot at the start of the space battle that really makes it - they used something like 20 separate shots on film to create one composite shot with all those fighters converging on the Millenium Falcon near the start of it, and it captures the chaos of the battle perfectly in a single shot that sets the tone for the whole thing.
@@UTU49that makes sense. It’s like asking which LotR movie is the best, which is a flawed question for several reasons (not only do the three movies/books tell a whole story, but Tolkien even originally wanted to release it as one book, until his editors told him to split it up into three)
The physics of the emperor’s lightning are very easy. At some point, Vader was involved in an incident and the suit actually keeps him alive. When he picked up the emperor, the lightning accidentally fried all the circuitry in the suit, including his life support system. If you want more details, watch the prequels
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain yup. it was actually stated in one of disneys canon books that THATS also actually the reason why palps didnt even try to scape from vaders grip - a force user such as him isnt really limited by his age in terms of agility and strength. but all palpatine was thinking about in that moment was doing as much damage to vader as possible for his "betrayal", he didnt even really think about saving himself.
A New Hope is Iconic! The Empire Strikes Back is The Best! & Return of the Jedi is My Personal Favorite! One of the greatest film trilogies ever made and I do have a soft spot for mostly the prequels and not so much the sequels despite their flaws but Star Wars (in general) is one of the greatest things that has ever happened in cinema history.
6:07 Jabba the Hutt was one of the galaxy's most powerful gangsters, with far-reaching influence in both politics and the criminal underworld. There were no second chances with Jabba, something Han Solo would find out -- though the slug-like alien would ultimately fall victim to his own hubris and vengeful ways. Jabba Desilijic Tiure was a Hutt who hailed from Nal Hutta. He was born in 600 BBY. He was the grandson of Mama and Papa the Hutts, and the nephew of Ziro and Ebor, as they were the siblings of his father.
This is my favorite Star Wars movie. The way Luke taps into the Dark Side when fighting Vader, the way Vader's theme is stripped from all majesty and ends in hollow, singular notes as he is dying. I cry every time.
The last act emotional payoffs are what make this trilogy so good. You almost have to discount it from other trilogies to be fair because this one is so good. The cross cutting between the 3 concurrent battles and the celebration at the end are up there with the best 30-40 minutes of cinema ever.
If you are an audiobook person, i HIGHLY reccomend the Thrawn trilogy. It takes place 5 years after this movie, going heavy into politics and lukes struggle with what being a jedi means, given his short learning period. Guy who reads it does great impersonations, and they add music and sound effects for immersion.
Angie, re. 24:51 - space battle, light show in the sky - that's how the first Star Wars (A New Hope) book starts. Luke looking up at a lightshow in the sky that's a space battle.
Did you notice how confident Leia was with Luke when they had to swing from the rope again? She was a bit terrified in the first film clutching him for dear life.
I am now always going to say “staring off into the dishes” 😂 Loved all your impressions and sound effects as well! Really happy you enjoyed this trilogy Ange and great commentary as always
It seems crazy on this movie having two different versions out there. But they are great in any style out there 😌 can’t wait to see your reaction to the prequels if you going to do it.
I count at least 3 versions. The 1983 original no CGI, the special edition released in theatres before Phantom Menace (CGI, but Sebastian Shaw as Force Ghost Anakin), and the DVD released with Revenge of the Sith "Nooo" and Hayden Christiansen image as Force Ghost.
Vader is more forgiving because he likes to kill people quickly. Sidious likes to savour the moment . . . X3 5:45 **Jabba licks his tongue out while pulling the slave girl, lol, the look on your face** Probably doesn't help if I mention (if he were pulling a Human rather than a Twi'Lek), other kinds of girls don't scream "exotic taste in women" as much as Asian ones XD The Sarlacc keeps prey alive for the full 1,000 years, so yeah, it's literally a millennium's worth of a living Hell . . . Ackbar isn't a squid. He's a Mon Calimari. The other species on his planet; the Quarrens are squids. Luke isn't the one on life support, Vader's systems are shutting down. Also Sidious wanted to torture Luke by killing him slowly. When Vader steps in, Sidious is in full self defense mode; thus giving it everything he's got, which is why we see Vader's skeleton (but not Luke's).
"Why don't they update the font?" It's tradition now. Everything about the openings of the episodic Star Wars films has become hallmarks of the series and remain unchanged throughout Episodes 1 through 9. (Though that sense of tradition doesn't seem to apply to the content within the films, as evidenced by the changes George Lucas made to 4, 5, and 6 in the Special Editions.)
I realize I'm late to this party but in addition to Vader's suit being specifically designed to be weak against lightning, part of the reason Vader was able to survive what turned him into Vader in the first place was the fact that he was so strong with the Dark Side and its a pretty common power for Sith/Dark Side wielders to be able to defy death even in the most impossible situations purely through channeling their hatred and rage. So when Vader turns good at the end and lets go of his hate after like 20 years, he lost a significant part of what was keeping him alive. So that, combined with being electrocuted, is why he just seemed to die so easily.
Very few people make that connection to the Princess Bride with Vader saying "As you wish" I guess that just goes to show how much he loved the Emperor and how much it took for Luke to break the hold that the Emperor had on his father
@@B-a-t-m-a-n "Judge me by my size you do you?" "Inconceivable!" "Mind what you have learned save you it can" "or you can fall victim to one of the classic blunders - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia"
I beg of you, continue doing Star Wars--you'll probably love the rest of the movies and I know for a *FACT* you will love the TV series (Clone Wars comes between Episode II and III, Rebels comes between III and IV, and all of the live-action shows so far come between VI and VII). Enjoy!
Just in case anyone takes that as an intended watch order, for clarification those are when the shows are SET. Clone Wars and Rebels are meant to be watched AFTER the prequels due to potential spoilers. Also, you forgot to mention Bad Batch.
In order to really understand the star wars trilogy you need to watch The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. You will learn about Anakin, Luke and Leiah, Darth Vader, Senator Palpatine (The Emperor)
The Prequal Trilogy is pretty interesting/entertaining, but you should know that it is very different to the Original Trilogy in terms of vibes. So, if you're expecting more of the Original Trilogy, you might be disappointed. That being said, I grew up with the Prequel Trilogy and it has some of my favorite parts in all Star Wars, so I am excited for you to check them out! XD
Boba Fett will walk that off; he's alright. The title has a triple meaning. 1) Luke's return. 2) Vader leaving the Dark Side, to embrace the path of the Jedi one last time. 3) The Jedi Order being restored, starting with Luke.
@@myTERAexperience that's basically like seeing someone got into a car wreck, and going "Eh... you can buff that out." He can walk that off. What exactly did I spoil?
Return of the Jedi was my favorite because I had a strained relationship with my father and I came from a very bizarre, dysfunctional family. Return of the Jedi is the most relatable of the franchise. I’m so happy you finally saw this movie. I couldn’t wait to see your reactions
When Luke is leaving the Death Star with his Father you can hear blaster fire in the background. Luke is the only Rebel there so that is probably the soldiers killing each other over escape pods
1. Best guess is that Han was Jabba's "trophy" for about a year and a half before the rescue. 2. Vader discovered Leia as Luke's sister because he could feel it in Luke. Luke didn't know that until just before then. 3. Luke's light sabre is green because he lost his old one along with his hand so they decided to make it green because it worked better in the desert background landscape. 4. Everybody is freaking out because Luke and Leia kissed mostly because she was trying to piss off Han. They didn't know they are related. 5. The "I love you. I know" was written into the script to get Leia the shot to say it to Han. 6. This was Warrick Davis'/Lead Ewok first acting gig. He was only 13. Willow is his lead with Val Kilmer and worth a first time/share.😎 7. Obvious CGI with the race through the forest. Nobody in their right mind would go that fast. 8. A little corn. Hans' reaction to Leia telling him Luke is her brother. 9. Jedi is plural. With Luke and Leia leading the way they can reestablish the Jedi back into the picture. 10. This is the best of the original George Lucas Star Wars. After this he sold it to Disney and everything changed. Sadly
7: it's not CGI. A man walked through the forest in California with a camera and it was sped up. 10: George didn't sell to Disney til 2012, well after this trilogy & the prequels.

Awesome. Your reactions are so on point. I'm glad you got so enthusiastic about the original trilogy! When I first saw the original trilogy when I was little, it definitely captured my imagination!
The universe can never repay the debt of gratitude we owe to George Lucas and the late great Carrie Fisher for giving us Slavegirl Leia. Oh, and apparently the Sarlaac preserves your life while digesting you, hence the thousand years.
I saw this as a very young kid in the theaters. I remember my Dad leaning over and covering my eyes at the Rancor Monster sequence. But he didn't do it for the Sarlacc pit, and we had a sandbox in the backyard. The experience was incredible, and yes, the Ewoks were HUGE. I recommend if you are going to watch the spinoff, you have to watch the Ewok Movie. Loved that one too.
The reason vader and the emperor looked the way they did is because using the dark side make you appearance age prematurely. Your skin, hair and eyes lose their color that is the price for the power it gives while the light side will keep you young healthier longer. The things they rode and speeder bikes they can only hover a certain distance over the ground and their top speed is about 310 mph or 500 kmh
This one was always my favorite star wars movie. I love how Luke has matured emotionally to show compassion to Vader, which really shows that he is a true jedi. The Jabbas palace part totally terrified me as a child in the best way.
Yes, let's chat non stop during obviously important exposition scenes. Better yet, let's NOT LOOK at the screen while we're at it. It'll be definitely fun to watch.
Vader's suit was the only thing keeping him alive and the empire made it vulnerable to force lightning, and force lightning is capable of disintegrating people.
@22:30 this scene is SO visually pleasing, plus it means more (hurts more?) after you've seen the prequels, and even though the music 100% Slaps At All Times, the "Luke and Leia" french horn theme is probably one of my favorites.
One of my favorite Star Wars games, X-Wing Alliance, uses the Luke and Leia track as the main theme when the opening cutscene shows our home base and it has always been one of my favorite cinematics because of that
The thing about the Sarlaac is that when you're being digested by it, it'll keep you alive for a thousand years while you are digested and that makes it a slow torture for a very long time and once it is finished, so are you.
12:25 so the guys in the Red or the Crimson Guard were, during the Galactic Civil War, a small group of ruthless individuals whom did Emperor Palpatine's personal bidding. Their leader, Captain Vex Salder, had founded the organization after working his way up in the Empire's ranks.
My favorite Star Wars film! I love everything about it. The iconic John Williams score, the first appearance of Luke’s green lightsaber (my favorite lightsaber), the emperor, Vader and Luke’s relationship and conflict (especially that emotional duel), Jabba’s palace, the rancor, Han and Leia’s romance chemistry, Speed Bikers, Endor, final battle with Death Star II, Lando piloting the Falcon, Vader/Anakin’s redemption, Luke and Leia sibling reveal, more of boba fett in action (despite falling into the sarlac pit), and yes even the Ewoks. Everything about this film is personal, nostalgic and enjoyable to me. Even though Empire is the best Star Wars film, Return of the Jedi will always have a special place in my heart as one of the best third installments and best conclusions to an epic trilogy and saga.
Loved the video Ange! My favourite line from Vader is definitely when he learns about Leia. Just James Earl Jones’ delivery of “…especially for… sister. So, you have a sister.”
"The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am." In the old canon that was actually true. You see, Darth Vader simply chokes you to death if you disappoint him too often. The Emperor? If he is really angry he'll bring you back from the dead. One guy has been killed several times because he was too important to just kill. One time he was eaten alive by something and was back so quickly that he could see his old body still being devoured. When the former Rebels and which had become the New Republic executed him for his work for the Emperor he was actually relived. I believe his last words were "Just do it right."
Vaders suit was a life support system, and it was designed by the emperor to give Vader constant pain and be vulnerable to electricity so he could never challenge him.
Angelina, I love your excitement and exuberance! I was 12 when A New Hope came out and I was glued to my seat watching! You do know that Senator Palpatine is the Emperor? Listen to the voice and look at his profile when he's wearing his cloak!
Emperor: I have sent my best troops to defend the shield generator The Empire’s “best” troops: getting f$&@-ed up by a bunch of teddy bears with rocks and sticks
As with all despots, no one would dare tell the Emperor that they are anything but the best. The way I see it, the Emperor is living in a yes-man information vacuum of his own making. 🙂
8:26 you hate them but Carrie Fisher loved how she looked in that outfit, aside from how uncomfortable she was. Considering I think a lot of it was metal. Idr.
Fun fact: the originally released version of Return of the Jedi had Sebastian Shaw as Anakin Skywalker in the last scene since the OG trilogy was created first. Hayden Christensen, who plays Anakin in the 2000's trilogy is shown in the version you watched. So here, he's the young (cute) version, whereas the original showed Anakin as an adult and what he'd look like had he not been badly burned.
New subscriber I am, return of the Jedi is probably my favorite in the entire trilogy. It was my first Star Wars movie I ever saw when I was a kid. I just have a lot of nostalgic memories with this movie.

I would recommend the "Despecialized" versions of these films. But that aside, another HILARIOUS reaction! Btw, you had strong Raven (from Teen Titans) vibes with the purple cloak! Lol
When Darth Vader was saying as you wish to Emperor Palpatine what he really meant was I love you. CP3O: It's against my programming to impersonate a deity. Luke 5 minutes later: I want you to impersonate a deity. CP3O: ok.

I agree with everything in this statement except for the word "accidentally" (but just my opinion). Excellent explanation without giving any spoilers!
@@Valheru4 Yeah, the Emperor frying Vader with Force Lightning was no accident. XD
That’s what happens when you don’t have the high ground
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain yup. it was actually stated in one of disneys canon books that THATS also actually the reason why palps didnt even try to scape from vaders grip - a force user such as him isnt really limited by his age in terms of agility and strength. but all palpatine was thinking about in that moment was doing as much damage to vader as possible for his "betrayal", he didnt even really think about saving himself.
I know most people go with Empire, but this is my favorite out of all of the movies.
Empire is probably the “best” but when I was a kid Jedi was *absolutely* my favorite one. It had *all* the Star Wars, all at the same time! Wowzer!
Yeah, buddy. Teddy bears defeating a highly armed fascist military by throwing rocks and sticks at them... That's quality writing, right there.
Empire is the best, but Return is my favorite
A New Hope is Iconic! The Empire Strikes Back is The Best! & Return of the Jedi is My Personal Favorite!
One of the greatest film trilogies ever made and I do have a soft spot for mostly the prequels and not so much the sequels despite their flaws but Star Wars (in general) is one of the greatest things that has ever happened in cinema history.
Revenge of the Sith is still my favorite!
This is the best one from the OG Trilogy
Absolutely
The last act emotional payoffs are what make this trilogy so good. You almost have to discount it from other trilogies to be fair because this one is so good. The cross cutting between the 3 concurrent battles and the celebration at the end are up there with the best 30-40 minutes of cinema ever.
If you are an audiobook person, i HIGHLY reccomend the Thrawn trilogy. It takes place 5 years after this movie, going heavy into politics and lukes struggle with what being a jedi means, given his short learning period. Guy who reads it does great impersonations, and they add music and sound effects for immersion.
and the Bane trilogy is a must
@@mikkelturtvig plaguis is the farthest iv gotten bby but its on my list. Post empire i like better

Angie, re. 24:51 - space battle, light show in the sky - that's how the first Star Wars (A New Hope) book starts. Luke looking up at a lightshow in the sky that's a space battle.
15:26 His species is literally called "Mon Calamari".
Lucas: I need another weird race. Hmm...how about space squid!
@@ShadowyFox_86or two different species of squid people, from the same world!
Dishtance, that is way too cute.
24:15. By the Force call Robot Chicekn! I can see the skit in y mind now and it is hilarious.
@@zvimur nooo is the fourth version. The 2011 final cut
@@kentamikuriya1873 Fair enough.
But you'd think there would be enough of a backlash against the SW3 "Nooo", for Lucas or whoever to know better.
Vader is more forgiving because he likes to kill people quickly. Sidious likes to savour the moment . . . X3
5:45 **Jabba licks his tongue out while pulling the slave girl, lol, the look on your face** Probably doesn't help if I mention (if he were pulling a Human rather than a Twi'Lek), other kinds of girls don't scream "exotic taste in women" as much as Asian ones XD
The Sarlacc keeps prey alive for the full 1,000 years, so yeah, it's literally a millennium's worth of a living Hell . .
"Why don't they update the font?"
It's tradition now. Everything about the openings of the episodic Star Wars films has become hallmarks of the series and remain unchanged throughout Episodes 1 through 9. (Though that sense of tradition doesn't seem to apply to the content within the films, as evidenced by the changes George Lucas made to 4, 5, and 6 in the Special Editions.)
some changes were good tho
"My name is Luke Skywalker. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
"No. I am your father."
"Inconceivable! "
@@B-a-t-m-a-n "Judge me by my size you do you?" "Inconceivable!" "Mind what you have learned save you it can" "or you can fall victim to one of the classic blunders - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia"
Considering that the Princess Bride didn't come out until four years _after_ Return of the Jedi, I have a hard time believing it's a reference.
You would get a kick out of _Revenge of the Ewok,_ about a 20 minute short centering around 11-year old Warwick Davis, who played Wicket the Ewok.

The reaction and editing is so hype!
29:00 “See Darth Vader your not that ruthless, it’s not like you killed-“
Yeaaah I don’t think she’s ready for Revenge of the Sith lol.
In order to really understand the star wars trilogy you need to watch The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. You will learn about Anakin, Luke and Leiah, Darth Vader, Senator Palpatine (The Emperor)
Check out the entire star wars playlist here: th-cam.com/play/PLem6w_48xWLmYlCHhRvy0zS3q_8xNBPzz.html
Yessss you definitely need to watch the rest ahaha, the prequels and then the Force Awakens, Rogue One, Solo etc
Definitely Rogue one and solo. Don’t have strong feelings for the force awakens
And why exactly are you spoiling things she hasn't seen?
@@myTERAexperience that's basically like seeing someone got into a car wreck, and going "Eh... you can buff that out." He can walk that off.
What exactly did I spoil?
Return of the Jedi was my favorite because I had a strained relationship with my father and I came from a very bizarre, dysfunctional family. Return of the Jedi is the most relatable of the franchise. I’m so happy you finally saw this movie. I couldn’t wait to see your reactions
Dude same here
When Luke is leaving the Death Star with his Father you can hear blaster fire in the background. Luke is the only Rebel there so that is probably the soldiers killing each other over escape pods
omg thank you for this reaction vid!!! Love the OG star wars, hope you continue doing them, love your vids!!
1. Best guess is that Han was Jabba's "trophy" for about a year and a half before the rescue.
2. Vader discovered Leia as Luke's sister because he could feel it in Luke.
Luke didn't know that until just before then.
3. Luke's light sabre is green because he lost his old one along with his hand so they
decided to make it green because it worked better in the desert background landscape.
4. Everybody is freaking out because Luke and Leia kissed mostly because she was trying
to piss off Han. They didn't know they are related.
5. The "I love you. I know" was written into the script to get Leia the shot to say it to Han.
6. This was Warrick Davis'/Lead Ewok first acting gig. He was only 13.
Willow is his lead with Val Kilmer and worth a first time/share.😎
After this he sold it to Disney and
everything changed. Sadly
7: it's not CGI. A man walked through the forest in California with a camera and it was sped up.
10: George didn't sell to Disney til 2012, well after this trilogy & the prequels.
@@callmeshaggy5166 He was walking very fast. Regarding Lucas and the history, he has since come out and said he regrets the sale and regrets it because what they did to his story.
Jabba the Hutt essentially controls about a 5th to a 4th of the entire galaxy, so he is a big
deal
There's only 3 movie left. And after that just jump in to the clone wars, rather than watching the bad fanfic that disney wrote.
"He put her in like no clothes? Oh I hate him so much."
Most of the guys who watched this. "He put her in no clothes? Oh I love him so much."
12:36 That day, the Emperor was amazed to discover that when Vader was saying 'as you wish', what he meant was 'I love you.'
THE VIDEO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR LOL LETS GOOOOO
I saw this as a very young kid in the theaters. I remember my Dad leaning over and covering my eyes at the Rancor Monster sequence. But he didn't do it for the Sarlacc pit, and we had a sandbox in the backyard. The experience was incredible, and yes, the Ewoks were HUGE. I recommend if you are going to watch the spinoff, you have to watch the Ewok Movie. Loved that one too.
"Caravan of Courage"
27:22 Angelina is the true grand daughter of palpatine
This was a 30 minute C-3PO roast 😂
ARE YOU GOING TO DO THE PREQUELS???! Or OBI WAN KENOBI SERIES? Would be great to seeeeee
My gal, I haven't watched your A New Hope commentary yet, *AND I got it!* You're imitating the TIE (Twin Ion Engine) Fighters! You can't trick me.
6:36 casually fluently speaking huttenese
3:42 Vader is actually right. He usually gives his admirals or soldiers one or two chances. Where as the Emperor doesn't give any chances.
Your so funny! :D I appreaciate you just having fun with these movies.
I think its safe to say that Angelina is absolutely.... crazy. Funny and crazy and outright entertaining. HA HA HA!!
Loved the video Ange! My favourite line from Vader is definitely when he learns about Leia. Just James Earl Jones’ delivery of “…especially for… sister. So, you have a sister.”
At 19:10, just my cat waiting under my bed quietly for my bare feet, he pounces by surprise.😂
"The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am."
In the old canon that was actually true.
Stop talking about the stupid EU crap
@@greglockhart8315Nah the eu was really cool
Vaders suit was a life support system, and it was designed by the emperor to give Vader constant pain and be vulnerable to electricity so he could never challenge him.
So glad seeing a younger generation enjoy these. And yes, this is the best trilogy of all time.
I might recommend LotR, The Dark Knight or even the Godfather. But yeah, the OT is pretty close to them.
Ian McDiarmid actually had two roles in this movie. He was the Emperor. He also plays the Imperial officer who uses the line "you Rebel scum".
Also jabba is right when he saw Jedi mind trick there are many many different types of force abilities/skills that all have their own names
Whenever u watch episodes 1,2,3 u will understand anakin in the suit.
I can't believe George Lucas did the stupidest thing an editor could POSSIBLY do to a franchise and MEMED himself with that "Noooooo!"
Angelina: I'm cultured now!
Also Angelina:
Angelina, I love your excitement and exuberance! I was 12 when A New Hope came out and I was glued to my seat watching! You do know that Senator Palpatine is the Emperor? Listen to the voice and look at his profile when he's wearing his cloak!
5:36-25:59
The director Richard Marquand made a cameo as the voice of EV-9D9 as well as portraying Major Marquand.
Yesss, more Star Wars with Angelina!!
Emperor: I have sent my best troops to defend the shield generator
The Empire’s “best” troops: getting f$&@-ed up by a bunch of teddy bears with rocks and sticks
As with all despots, no one would dare tell the Emperor that they are anything but the best. The way I see it, the Emperor is living in a yes-man information vacuum of his own making. 🙂
Now that she seen this... Man, im really exited to see her reaction at the Anakin story.
8:26 you hate them but Carrie Fisher loved how she looked in that outfit, aside from how uncomfortable she was. Considering I think a lot of it was metal. Idr.
Ange did the purple robe for Ramadan heh
I love the sad melancholy piano of Imperial March for Vader's death. Gets me every time.
I like how you added the "cute" for Anakin lol
New subscriber I am, return of the Jedi is probably my favorite in the entire trilogy. It was my first Star Wars movie I ever saw when I was a kid. I just have a lot of nostalgic memories with this movie.
Jedi was under-rated for a long time. It has aged well. Young viewers appreciate the symbolism that a lot of older fans didn't understand.
Most of my friends think ESB is the best, but JEDI has been my favorite since it first came out.
Angelina, this was the best one! Great reaction.👍
When you said "Turn around!" and then added "every now and then I get a..." I almost died, because that's EXACTLY what I do.
I have always loved that Leia turned the symbol of her enslavement and objectification into her weapon to kill Jabba and free herself. A QUEEN.

The Imperial Tie Fighter fly by sound is a modified recording of an Elephant trumpet being blown.
When Darth Vader was saying as you wish to Emperor Palpatine what he really meant was I love you.

@@Suffkopp0815 nah. You cant/shouldnt start the shows until youve watched at least the first 6 movies. Let her at least get the full information before considering any other star wars media.
@@HachimaruuTV If my whole Star Wars contact would have been the first 6 movies, I would not have continued it. Luckily I cam across other great Star Wars media like Knights of the old Republic. Even with that background I thought I was done with Star Wars in combination with Disney at least after the 7th movie. Only the Mandalorian and Fallen Order kinda brought me back (still havent watched the new movies). The point is there is a lot of crappy Star Wars and you dont really need most of it to get the rest.
@@Suffkopp0815 yeah i wouldn’t recommend the newest movies. The thing with the mandalorian is it’s more enjoyable knowing everything that came before it. It feeds off the first 6 movies.
