Hey mate I just used you video as a reference to get my stuffed belt tensioner off. I wanted to say thank you for making the video. It only took me about 20 mins start to finish, I used a long lever bar and a short lever bar to get the alternator out without damaging it. Thanks again. 🤘🛠
Bolt is accessible from passenger front wheel arch once removed. Long reach but accessible. 13mm bolt. VW workshop manual instruction states this method.
Hello,my mechanic was doing this job today in 1 and 1/2 hour from underneath and back ,whitout dismantling pieces,only with a 13 mm wrench. It is possible.

I can't believe these people.
I spent half an hour searching for bolt, but when i found it, I have loosen it from left wheel weel side. It is realy deep in there.
