Am i seeing things or did primal have the subtle twitcg t of a shit eating grin on his face on tge left most edge of his face and mouth.(the guy knows hes got the would be predacon megatron dead to rights and has his number down cold ) its almost like primal is just itching to pull that trigger but is desperate to at the very least try to resort to deplomacy first in dealing with megs and the present situation
I'm only guessing here but I think the reason Optimus tried to prevent shooting at Megatron inside the Ark is he's worried all it would take is one stray shot to accidentally hit one of either the Autobots or the Deceptions because doing so would be bad as remember in the episode 'Other Victories' where the Vok returned with TigerHawk as said aliens and said Cybertronian didn't know that Megatron was carrying the spark of the original Megatron and Optimus wanted to get out there and prevent that from happening as he said 'If He's destroyed it'll create a time storm that would wipe out Cybertron as we know it' so basically it's the Grandfather effect where if you go into the past and prevent your grandparents from meeting it'll prevent you from being born so that might be why Optimus was trying to be careful using his weapons inside the Ark.
Still one of my favorite lines in the entire series.
"We'd have four million years to clean you off the walls, Megatron. I *might* risk it."
Translation: "F*** around and find out, Lizard lips."

It's kinda like they become one being just like the gestalts when they combine, the same goes for Megatron when he takes the original Megatron's spark and starts referring to himself in the third person like Devastator

I think his survival was due to the Time Storm since he couldn't be fully destroyed while he was between existence and non-existence

(1:34 - 1:58) I found it very amusing how they added the scene of Ravage's leg being dragged away and his head being knocked off the cliff and into the water. A little humor in a serious situation is always good in cartoons.
Its not meant for humor, its to shows he is dead, there was no conclusive proof in agenda 3.

not to mention he's even more clumsy than cheetor. megatron owned when fighting both him and cheetor in feral scream while he was still a transmetal T-rex. after megatron got his dragon body, primal was no way his match.

The maximals have each have specific ancestors, for primal it is prime, for rattrap as it was discovered in the show it was arcee. So it may be their specific ancestors aren't on the ark at that time. Not to mention the fact they are just trying to protect the ark and restore time, not possibly destroy it if they were to be destroyed as it would mean their ancestor would be destroyed too

It is a wonder inferno is still even online since he looks in worse condition that dinobot did after stopping all the Predacons. I never really understood how inferno could stay alive when Dinobot didn't
Half of Predacons were, by all purposes, dead
Aside from Rampage's self repairing spark
Tarantulas, Inferno, Quickstrike and Waspinator were severely damaged
@IslayRod They weren't shown during the time storm, and had immense damage, but they were probably in flux too.

My answer is not wrong thank you very much. inferno and quickstrike were both damaged when they landed. which is why inferno thinks of himself as an ant NOT a transfrormer. quickstrike's pod was damaged so much he became a fuzor. If you have seen the episode where the fuzors appeared you will know that their data tracks were scrambled beyond recognition. Once again they were both too damaged to feel the effects of the time storm.
I grew up with this series and I am an avid transformer fan!
So am I, and I’ve seen the 80s show, Beast Wars, Beast Machines(sucks), Armada, Energon(dumb sequel that didn’t make sense), Cybertron(interesting but I like Armada more), Transformers Animated, and Transformers Prime, in my opinion, Prime is probably the best
Well an answer to your question for inferno is that his programming was damaged when his stasis pod crashed on Earth, as for quickstrike he is just evil to the core, neither of them know they were maximal protoforms. They were also pretty much in stasis when the time storm first took place which would have made them unaware of what had just happened in regards to their ancestors being destroyed.

It always interested me how small the new breed and transformers where. Like maximals and predacons where realistically the size of a normal human.
Okay what I don't understand is if Blackarachnia is suffering from the time warp because she was a Maximal Protoform. Then why aren't Inferno, Quickstrike, and Rampage going through the same thing. They were Maximal Protoforms too. Even though Rampage was a mistake he was still created by Maximals.
They probably were. But considering they’re personalities…..
• Inferno has an ants devotion to its colony, so even if he noticed it wouldn’t really matter to him.
• Quickstrike seems to have been rendered unconscious so he might not have noticed, but even if he did, he’s too stupid to realise what the implications for him will be.
• Rampage has been enslaved by Megatron, he can’t disobey him, plus he’s a psychotic nutcase.
Blackarachnia is the only one of them smart enough and sane enough to realise what Megatrons endgame means for her, so……..

I'm sure that if Tarantulas and Black Arachnia hadn't changed his personality protocols and reprogrammed him into a Predacon I'm sure Inferno would still think he's an ant and would probably have been calling Optimus 'My Queen' if he still had his Maximal programming before Tarantulas changed the chips when he and Black Arachnia found Inferno's stasis pod after it actually made a soft landing and not crashed like what happened to Tigertron,AirRazor,TransMutate,Rampage,SilverBolt,QuickStrike's stasis pods did including the one that was a blank that Rhinox used to bring Optimus back in 'Coming of the Fuzors' and that one where Megatron resurrected DinoBot as a TransMetal 2 using the core of Rampage's spark and you know speaking of the stasis pods whatever happened to all the others that Optimus ordered to be put into safe orbit at the beginning of the series as I remember seeing them eject over a dozen stasis pods out of the Axalon's stasis hold before both ships crashed so what happened to all those stasis pods that we didn't see get recovered or found by both factions that's what I want to know.

Optimus' upgrade happened by chance. Megatron attempted the same thing and evolved from T-Rex to dragon with traits of a Transmetal 2.
