Being that in MY opinion, Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal were BOTH students of the great Alpha Trion just like the youngest of the three Prime Brothers, Ultra Magnus. After all, my friend, NO Autobot Prime was EVER built with a Matrix of Leadership of his (or her) own. It had to be earned, through Power, and Wisdom, and Courage, like Optimus Primal did when he got upgraded to Optimal Optimus. Even as I write this comment, I STILL hear Optimal Optimus sing the award-winning song from "Frozen" called "Let It Go" just like I heard his big brother Optimus Prime sing it in a thing on TH-cam called "Transformers Prime: Optimus Prime Sings Let It Go From Frozen", SINCE Optimal Optimus ALSO endorses "Let It Go" from "Frozen" more than that stupid piece of work from "Teen Titans GO!" called "The Night Begins To Shine". This is MY opinion in ALL of this, and it STILL is, by the way. Thanks in advance, my friend.

In-story reasons the Axalon was destroyed? The Predacons wanted to gain a tactical edge and try to crush the Maximals' moral spirit.
A logistical reason? Since Optimus Primal upgraded to Optimal Optimus, he became too big to even fit inside the Axalon. Therefore, the Maximals would now need another, bigger place for headquarters.
Optimal Optimus is new Axalon.

Not too mention it would be logistically impossible to defend both bases with the limited personnel the Maximals had, so one of them had to go. The Axalon was less relevant, so bye.

I would say that it was just a dream, but, if time travel were a possibility, it might be possible that he is a future descendent of you who got sent to Earth's past either purposely or on accident.

Just watched the whole series with my 5yo son after watching movies, transformers prime, having toys etc. he lost his mind when prime woke up, as I knew he would
rampage, inferno, megatron and depth charge share a trait. they arent afraid to face superior opposition alone.

The romance was an interesting choice for the story, people don’t really think about that concept for Transformers
And so ends another brilliant episode, the only Beast Wars story to rival Code of Hero, in my opinion. I like how the two Optimuses briefly met before one had to take a 4,000,000 year nap.

What did you expect? Rampage is a giant by normal Maximal and Predacon standarts. This was probably the first time EVER he has to look up to make eye -ahem!- optic contact with someone.

from what i understand the maximals didn't really go in the ark. they just set up base camp outside of it
@magicalnyannyan Yes. They upgraded into smaller, more energy efficient bodies sometime after the Great War.
Tarantulas does have a point that if he destroy the ark, the Maximals and Predacons would cease to exist but shockwave and the rest of the survivors, insecticons would have and if tarantulas is the spawn of unicron it’s gonna be tough for shockwave to blow up the planet of unicron

I was wondering about that to. Since they were Maximal Protoforms. Probably some minor plot hole that never got tied up.

kind of hard to explain but if you ever watched back to the future you know where im going with this. In timeline1 (original transformers), that was the first timeline, as in it was happening for the first time, before the maximals or predicons existed or went back 4 million years into the past thus, their events never happened in timeline1. when the maximals and predicons go back 4 million years, whatever they changed in this past, will create an alternate timeline and thus, an alternate 1984.
Time travel has no true explination sence it is a fictional sciance. The two fictional explinations are changing the future and creating alternate timelines. I think the two have also ben combined as I have sean programs that use time change and alternate universes. I think beast wars uses the time changing explination. If they hadn't pute Prime into stasis lock and transfered his spark to Primal Prime would have died. They managed to buy anough time to prevent that future.

Optimus is going to wake up 4 million years later with a mega headache.
Predacon Megatron's plan to alter history, would have never worked. Killing Optimus Prime would have destroyed the Matrix of Leadership. and therefore, there was nothing to stop Unicron from destroying Cybertron. No Cyberton, no more Decepticon or Autobot ancestors. No ancestors, no Predacons or Maximals. Predacon Megatron would never exist, and therefore, would not go back in time to kill Optimus Prime.
