Thin is important, but it's not the most important. Most people don't know what they really want anyway. In my opinion a wider front screen and larger battery are more important than thinner.
What we expect from 7, 1. Slightly, just slightly larger footprint 2. In built Spen silo 3. Dust resistance, ip68 4. better inner display camera, current one is too bad 5. spen support on outer screen for quick notes 6. better battery and charging speed 7. anti reflecting coating on outer screen. These are the bare minimum to keep it up with current flagships and let people actually use it for its indented usages.
I hope that when they launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in a 2 years from now, it better be a tri fold phone like the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design. I can't wait much longer to put my hands in a tri fold phone like that. I hope that Samsung develope a technology like that in the future.
I dont want thinner. I want them to house the pen inside the phone. Also making the phone the same size as a normal candy bar style phone when closed won't hurt.
I dont care as much about thin-ness as I do making sure I have the S-Pen and a LARGER battery. Battery and features should usurp thin-ness, correct me if Im wrong but not many people care about that. Increase the screen size, which will allow more real estate for more battery, and also more room for the S-Pen
Where exactly is this evidence coming from? Is their anything to actually back up what 'they' are saying or is this just a vid to keep subscribers happy lol ???
I hope they leave the thickness the same and worry about the functions and durability of the screens. I have the 5, and I can say. I'm completely happy with the thickness of the device. Just wish it had an onboard storage for the pin.

Going from hot(90+ degrees) to cold drastically cut the number of folds before the screen begins to crack at least with the fold 4 , I already replaced the inner screen once and it's been 2 years since I've had it
Samsung doesn't bother to slim down the foldable phone.., All their care is making money until they realize it's too late...., never learned from Nokia downfalls......
