The title got me, one of these will be my next bike. I’ve ALWAYS wanted a R1, like since I was a little kid and they’ve only gotten better with time. I always liked CBRs just didn’t love them but my first bike (which is my current bike) ended up being a CBR600RR & I love it so much. It’s lightweight & handles so well and everyone says the same about the fireblade so I’m strongly considering it
Seems to me like an R1 is an over all better race bike. If you don’t race and considering one or the other, consider the cbr as it is MUCH more comfortable. Especially if you are over 5’10”. 😅 in the end, like everyone says, get what you like! It’s your money! 🎉
My CBR1K has a higher HP yield. Seems that they lowered HP for ‘23 for EU emissions. The R1 is as plasticky if not more than the Honda. The R1 is beautiful, though. I agree that Honda needs to redesign and refresh the CBR1KRR line, though. I hope they will soon. You are totally wrong re the Quadlocks, though. I installed mine at the stem with zero issues and it works great. Lastly, re sound - Toce cans sound the best, no matter the bike! Don’t waste your time and money on others…
Because in europe they no longer produce this model. We can not buy a new SC77 anymore. They were only build till 2017-2019. I think USA still gets them, because you don't have such a strict rule about emissions. Thats probably also why Honda just keeps selling those. Same as other bikes, like the GSXR L7 , DRZ400 and other bikes you can still buy in the usa and you can't in europe. @@liv0003
To be fair. On the CBR the ECU is under the plastic fairing infront of the tank. You shouldn't need to remove the tank. And having a plastic tank cover helps if you want to change the look/color or if it gets damaged, without needing to do anything to the whole tank.

@@CK_RIDES i just own R1M below 1 year... i happy with my bike
Bro r1 all day just look at the way it looks
How does a Aprillia have hp than CBR 1000rr 🤨
Justin...my thoughts exactly.
The RS 660 literally has 105 hp and dyno’s at about 85-93 whp, he just doesn’t like the CBR
@@alex43ko the CBR at 1000cc’s on our very FIRST PULL Dyno’d at 142HP. PATHETIC.
(Hand over end of muffler) "There's a lot of air coming out of here."
No shit, an ICE is ultimately an air pump, Einstein
(Talking about phone mount) "The hole is too big. You'll actually lose your nut inside there."
I know I'm past my prime but from what I remember, that's kind of the objective, isn't it?
Yamaha best
R1 by far best sport bike ever made
I concur...
Not a fan of any of the new hondas. I own 2 hondas a 2001 cbr600f4i custom stretched and lowered with turbo and a 2003 cbr600rr bone stock just lowered and both are great bikes. The older styling for me on the cbr is flat out love. Simplistic but with alot of angles and curves the newer cbr just looks too bubbly and not at all racy in my opinion. If they would revise the rc51 i think they would have a hell of a seller and revise the blackbird but honda is like iphone they like to stick to their guns with very little changes. Looking into a older r1stealth all black to add to collection.
💯💯💯
both bkes are great .not much in it
I'm 5 minutes in and he has made like 20 completely wrong comments... is the remaining 10 minutes him just making stuff up also?
Is that so??? Since you're the Self Proclaimed EXPERT...please correct me... #whataclown 🤡
@@CK_RIDES @CK_RIDES not self proclaimed expert at anything.. just annoying listening to 5 minutes of video with so many errors haha ok.. 1st, you call bar ends rear ends, next (the most insane thing which loses you all credibility) you say the Aprilia rs660 has more than 150hp.. next you say the cbr has a lot of plastic in certain places then pan to the r1 that has it in all the same places (engine covers are removable btw), then you say you bought a yamaha oem quickshifter for the Honda? Idk man.. that's the first 5 minutes haha then there was something about the 2017 dash being older than the 2015 dash on the r1.. anyway, did you ever even try power mode 1 on the Honda and TC 0? No hate From me, I'm probably just more jealous of your garage and being petty
The R1 is unique with its crossplane engine with the best sounding engine note available. The CBR is basically a ZX10 in different clothes, no uniqueness whatsoever.
Out of all my bike the R1 is my FAVE.
HONDA CBR 1000 RR-R FIREBLADE
Cbr sounds so much better. It had more sporty bike hoe they should sound like .
Dude youre spending a lot of money on these toys then you sell them for a lot less lol how much did you lose on the honda?
ZERO. Honda bought it back from me at 100% (Lemon Law) and gave me a 2023 Fireblade in exchange. I always sell my bikes for more than I paid for them. They're all race ready machines. Never lost a penny on a bike since I buy them wholesale.
@@CK_RIDES dude in your video you said that you the fireblade was sold for 15k? you bought it for 18k? or 19k? spend more money like 2k for ecu and etc and then that's almost 20k and sell it for 15k how are you making money in it? hard to believe! hahah
@@princetnDumbass how could I sell the Fireblade if I still have it??? You’re dumb.
R1 sounds like a wannabe Harley. No thanks!
Also R1 is every bit as plasticky as the Honda.
The gsxr is nasty
An RS660 doesn't make 150 HP😂😂😂😂
It does with right engine work.
@@CK_RIDES Then it wouldn't be a 660... ;)
Привет из России, мото брат.
Thank you.
I’d get the R1 purely based on looks and sound
My GOD you can hear the bias in your voice
That cbr1000 sounds like junk!
It is junk. I sold it. 🤣
Cbr1000 Fireblade has already made its name and nothing they say will shake it. Simple as that, better torque, more economical, lighter, more horses. So these items beat the R1
@@lilobraw9424you forget about the cbr fireblade 1000 rr-r sp, way better than any Yamaha r1 around . And The cbr that he shows in the video is the old model, which is unknown why it is still sold for the American market. The rr-r sp and the new fireblade rr are both available on the European market, the "regular " rr available in Europe is the same bike with the same design as the rr-r SP but with less "prestigious" equipment and obviously a slightly lower price. I don't know why for the American market Honda continues to sell the old cbr RR when in all other markets from 2020 onwards the new Fireblade rr is available as well as the rr-r sp.
