It was Vinnie’s hands and the solo in the Commercial, but the guitar player from a band “honeymoon suite” in the video. We were in high school together when Vinnie went to do the commercial.
in 1986 i had Vinnie Moore's first CD and was a junior in high school. I worked at a factory after school and this machinist i worked with repeatedly told me about this Pepsi commercial Vinnie shredded guitar on. I never ever caught it on TV back then. So I just seen it for the first time now only took about 30 years. Its crazy to see it now lol. Thanks for posting this - Rock on \m/
He plays D, C B, A, G, F# on that first repeated pattern but then everything after that returns to F natural until he again plays that pattern starting on the D note at the 22nd fret. It could be a secondary dominant or something to avoid the slightly awkward spacing with that bottom half of the Aeolian pattern.

I bought his first instructional VHS , which for some reason we're ridiculously expensive
very clean...perfect articulation
O melhor solo que vi, quando garoto🤟🏿
Que bajo ha caído Pepsi que ahora hace un comercial de un naco reggaetonero en vez de cotratar a alguien con el talento de vinnie moore.
Always thought that was sped up in the studio for the commercial use of Pepsi…. Had no idea that was the actual speed of the riff!!!…

Nice lesson. Would you please tell me the name of the intro song? Is it UFO or something like that? Thanks!
