watching the digging is fascinating seeing the layers of earth change color and texture as one goes thru them and how cleanly those machines can cut or pile it generally speaking its just so cool i know those things are huge (compared to the size of a person) but they can do such delicate work
Love how the operators handle those diggers. The machines are like an extension of their bodies. Very graceful and accurate. And not a crumb spilled! Hello Ginger. Hope you’re keeping well. It’s hard to keep up with young Tom.
Aww yay I thought you read the comments Andrew. As I know you’re reading this just wanted to say thank you for being a farmer, and a bloody good one at that! Men like you are what make Britain great! And we really appreciate all the hard work you put into the job xxx
Hi Ginge what a great teacher you're being to your son, with your ideas and Tom's your really setting the farm up for the future. WELL DONE TO YOU BOTH 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄
Ah, a Modern Slurry Floor. Do make sure you install a ramp and a big steel trap door you can both drive over and when needed can be opened to let a Bobcat or similar sized mini-dozer into the Slurry Basement to remove Slurry Build Up that simply won't wash away easily.
I love seeing all that you do. This is all quite exciting and seeing the entire farm growing and developing is incredible. Would love to see you and your dad do a live sometime in the future. Would love to hear his feelings as he watched the land he’s worked, gain his son as a farmer and the incredible growth and upgrades you both have worked so hard for moving forward. Hmmmm maybe Mr. Pemberton, you should write a book! It’s all incredible to watch. ❤❤
Hi Papa, Papa Tom, Ciaran !! It must be nice driving the BIG Tonka Trucks we used to play with as kids. The barn build looks really good. Did you imagine a year ago that the farm would grow this BIG ?? Ciaran, the brains behind the build. Well Done, gentlemen.
Exciting stuff. Shame you can’t film more. But your channel consistently puts out great and interesting content Tom. Let’s keep the channel growth going!!
It was great to see an update on the shared farm agreement, Tom. Ciaran has been doing a grand job with updates on his tiktok account. Hey Andrew, I hope you enjoyed your supper. Do love it when we get you in on the video. We need more of the mighty ginge.
Hi from Co Cork Ireland i used to live on a farm in Redhill North Somerset have been living here since 2016 love watching your videos keep up the great work you all are doing .
70th! Hope all is well with you Tom,Luke, Hiedie, Anna and the ginger warrior with a mustache. Along with everyone else who is working on the farm. Things are moving along nicely. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Great video again Tom, my concern with new build is the volume of surface water in the slurry store, surely it should have been layed to fall towards the front of the building, assuming the extension is the front Looks huge, not only the building but the volume of slurry storage Say hi to the ginger guy Take care all Geoff
That barn is humongous, like the concrete work looks really good. Any idea when those drains were laid, they were all dead straight shame that over time they've been filled with mud.
Watch and follow lot of farming TH-cam videos yours by far I like it's obviously a good partnership you your dad and all the staff comes across as a strong team. Was brought up on a farm unfortunately parents passed away before opportunity to take it on myself but heart still in it even though career went in a different direction would love to visit
I read the last comment about Anna and that was so uncalled for. This is a safe place were we can be respectful to all. Keep such sorded. thoughts to yourself please. You got me angry and that. Isn't the way to start the day Tom and Ginger please ignore thls demented person's post. I see that the post was removed and thank you for that❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Very interesting to see an ideal cow barn being built. Curious what the plan is for all the dirt you removed. Was wondering if it could be used to build a levy along the canals that aren’t draining properly. You could put in a dry well hooked to the drainage tiles and use a pump to move the water into the canals when the fields are flooded with the levy to keep your fields dry below the higher water level.
So years ago I was looking for a new opportunity and applied for a position as European head of data for a fizzy drinks company that wasn’t Coke. The job was based out of Barcelona but would be European in its scope. I thought this could be brilliant and exciting. I went for one set of interviews with the department and was concerned because the questions were very specific and they religiously took notes. The next day I had an interview with the European CEO of said company, who said I don’t like people who were contractors and that is the end. I was gutted. I was even more gutted when I found out that one of the people interviewing me got the role and a friend who worked there said basically it was a scam to mine me for information and teach how to do the job. This is a long way of saying be very careful with your farm share you aren’t being used and potentially throw out once they have sucked you dry.
I think with renting a lot of ground already off the farm share partners and co-operating with sharing silage and feed and labour already there's a good partnership developing. I know what you mean though 100%
I worked for a concrete contractor who built sewer plants.. we built concrete pits 100 by 200 and some circular. We had to install a continous water seal half embed in the previous pour so the next section poured would join together without the possibility of leaking into the ground. I don't see any of that in your concrete seams just rebar.
Great to see the progress we called at the farm shop today we are on holidays is there anyway we could come and meet u before we head home on Friday I know you be busy but would make my wee mans day many thanks
Well YA know it’s always better have to much than not enough to … go pooo Or a nice big roof on top. Good morning. My morning was a thought on getting the car ready for winter. Oil has been changed, and I can do that.. headlamps have been restored with a cleaner kit, waxed in some spots and then I decided to fix and repaint the hood and trunk… ran out of paint.. of course. Ugh another trip to town , getting hot out . Mid 90’s .❤
A great looking shed, but how do you know if the walls of the tank are properly sealed and the slurry doesn't leak. In northern Ireland they dont use panels just shutterrd concrete which is better .
I love watching your videos and I visited your farm it's amazing slightly losing track of where you're at but that's ok. Maybe you can use somewhere that soil to put back in your field where you have made it's uneven
Good video , some skill sets between the two families. Wishing both parties the best of fortune moving forward./ farms. You all bring a lot to the operation to hire in a skilled excavation team to carry out the excavations would have cost a fair penny
Hi ginger warrior! I still think we need a shirt that says “ me and Father” have that crossed out then below it say “ Father and I” I miss that he’s learned not to do it. My dad and I did stuff like that together where he correcting on the same thing over and over again I really miss him. Be well be you
What was the point of getting the dribble bar for the slurry tanker if all you use is the splash plate these days? Wasn't there something about it not working but shouldn't that have been fixed by now?
Ah ok I understand you better my mistake. There will be some agreement between them all. A contract of some sorts. We shared land when we had our farm. Our partner grew wheat or barely we got the straw for free and we used to spread slurry and much so both parties got what the wanted
Hello dad, hi tom another brilliant video. Iv got a serious question I need some help with if you can. I watch all your videos and for some reason you always cheer me up when I watch them. How sad am I. Your farm is near blackpool isn't it. I'm coming to blackpool first weekend of October, I'm coming on train and not driving. I'd love to come visit the farm shop but can you advise me on what is the best public transport to get there and back. If it's a taxi job who's the cheapest 😅😅😅 unless you'll pick me up dad 😂 keep up the excellent work everyone.
That's a huge shed! Building it right. Are you gonna have a slurry tank to pull the slurry into or will you have to vacuum it out of the slatted cistern?
Great video, Tom appreciate it. You keep going and not stopping because if you stop, you’re not making money. You’ve got to invest first before you rake the rewards which will come in time in the fourth of future. But don’t forget don’t stand still if there’s always a problem there’s always a solution doesn’t matter how big or small listen to your father take heat of what he says learn from him like you have done you doing well and as far as the community is concerned with you all the way they watch the videos with the anticipation, thanks again. Look after your friends and family and more so mum and dad and the lady wife bye for now. Take care. PS that includes your little one.
How is Andrew ? Ever think our young lads would have the opportunities to grow that they have now compared to when we started out? When I was young if you wanted to expand the first problem was buying the land and you kinda had to buy the land because the prospect of getting a long term lease or a share farming agreement didn’t exist at least that’s the way it was this side of the pond. Regards from Ireland.
The Ginger Warrior must be very proud of his boy - well done to all for taking this project on!!

Hey Andrew, I hope you enjoyed your supper. Do love it when we get you in on the video. We need more of the mighty ginge.
Hello ginger warrior. You're both doing a grand job. With love to you all from Bolton xx
Love seeing your dad, Ginger Warrior. Love the progress you guy's are doing.
The milk stage of the maize, you can eat it as sweet corn.
Great video.
A MASSIVE HELLO TO THE GINGER GUY ❤ 😊 and Tom it's another great video 😊
Ginger warrior is the best, knowledge is amazing, keep an eye on the young ones!!
Y’all are making good progress on the new building. Making it bigger was a good idea. It’s always better to have to much room than to not have enough.
Hi from Co Cork Ireland i used to live on a farm in Redhill North Somerset have been living here since 2016 love watching your videos keep up the great work you all are doing .
Thanks for the video Tom
BeWell and StaySafe
Hello to the Ginger Warrior from Canada. I’m not a farmer. I don’t understand the farm share but I do love the videos. ❤
THE LEVELS OF INVESTMENT IN THAT SHED WOULD BE MIND BLOWING! YOU HAVE MUCH MORE CONFIDENCE IN THE JOB THAN MYSELF TOMMY!!
Even here in the rebellious United States, some of us remember well that it is, indeed, "Father and I." Keep setting Tom straight, Ginger Warrior!
70th! Hope all is well with you Tom,Luke, Hiedie, Anna and the ginger warrior with a mustache. Along with everyone else who is working on the farm. Things are moving along nicely. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Building videos are the best Tom.
Looking good Tom, nice work. Gotta get Ginge back in for the comedy. Always good for a laugh 👏👏
Lots of progress happening on the farm. That building cover is massive.
Special hello to the Ginger Warrior ! Hope to see you in more videos Dad!
That is a huge undertaking. Hope the rain stays away until the bade pour is done.
This is exciting to watch.
Absolutely love the vids and really interested in how clean your cows stay on the the floor of the new of the shed keep up the good work
That’s looking fantastic Tom, and Kiren. That’s a big pit. 100’ x 70’ x10’. That’s near on 2 million litres.
Another big project, good luck with the build and the business partnership.
Great video again Tom, my concern with new build is the volume of surface water in the slurry store, surely it should have been layed to fall towards the front of the building, assuming the extension is the front
Looks huge, not only the building but the volume of slurry storage
Say hi to the ginger guy
Take care all
Geoff
What a fantastic project!
That barn is humongous, like the concrete work looks really good. Any idea when those drains were laid, they were all dead straight shame that over time they've been filled with mud.
Great update.
Best of luck with all the ongoing building plans 👍👍👍
Great idea to go big or go home. You have a fantastic farm Tom.
Digging!!!!! Neat to see it built from the sub-ground up! Great progress!!
Boa tarde, Mr Pemberton Sr. (Andrew). Greetings from Portugal!

just remember to set up a docking station for your tanker. so you don't have to go out and put on a hose every time you run manure
Great video Tom the new farm is looking great
Hiya ginger warrior. Hope the back is now fully healed after your op
Exciting growth on the farm! Happy days - all the best from Houston, Texas 🚀 🐄 🛸

Limosuin are crazy, the b/blues and simentail are great for beef fattening, any continental cows are great beef cows
Whats the history of Cieran and Tom? Fantastic set up
Should’ve put a sump in the floor of the tank where your fill point will be.
Great video Tom the shed is coming along nicely you might need more field to spread all the slurry on 👍👍
I spent many a long wet day driving those dumpers , it was lovely 😂 .

He still does it when father isn't around...LOL
Could you employ a squad of moles to dig your land drains?
Great video Tom great you are investing in Luke and Anna by sending then on a foot trimming course
Watching the machinery in high speed reminded me of the movie Wall-E 😂
What was the point of getting the dribble bar for the slurry tanker if all you use is the splash plate these days? Wasn't there something about it not working but shouldn't that have been fixed by now?
Andrew, teatime eh? Do you really need that last peice of cake? Be honest... 😂😂 have it chap you earned it! 😊
Good stuff
Hi ginge hope you are well ❤

All that spoil would be good to fill the ruts in your field?
I’d have loved to do your farm walk but not able to get away from the farm at the moment

Thats proper👌🏻
Why l panels for walls? Here in Northern Ireland they all poured
Crazy way they are building it
It’s the worst I’ve ever seen..
Have the planning regs in England got tighter with regards to expansion of new slurry tanks and Ammonia emissions?
WOW Getting BIGGER !!!!!!!!!!! Congrats. A very big achievement. Tom...... AUT UM NAL (AUTUMNAL). 😂😂 👍👍👍💯💯💯💯👍👍👍
