Chin up Tom, get the bangers on and not the break up songs, get motivated in the morning! You got this!
@@MillaTheGorilla_ mate I love Lewis capaldi 🙈
I thought the same. He listens to some songs a pre-teen girl would. Cheers on u though Tom. U need some up bit shite
And I’m 54 and listen to Lewis in my car all the time……I also listen to Eminem, McFly, Will Young, Erasure, Robbie Williams, Adele and loads more. What’s wrong with liking different types of music? 😂
@@TomPembertonFarmLifedon’t we all?! ❤
@@txmarine82 Adults listen to whatever music they fancy. Thats' the best part of being an adult no adult can tell you to stop listening to stuff.
That's the lowest the slurry tank has been in a while! I still love the harvesting videos!
To much Grass is a good thing , in the spring you could be glad you have it , and still maize to come
Keep the chin up Tom, got a great community of people who follow you and are here to support you if so needed. Who doesnt love a bit of Lewis Capaldi anyways
Thanks as always Tom another hard graft day. Don’t forget it not just men covering but women can help as well 😊
My goodness, you are a grafter. Love love love your videos ❤
Great video Tom, your dad is in his element when he gets going with the Rhino and he's so right that it's the most important job getting the grass compacted. I hope the sheeting up went well.🤞.
Fantastic! Maize is looking well, hope it yields as good as its looks 👌🏻
Hi Tom. Look into doing silage bags, maybe. Just a thought.
Time to extend the muck clamp and add panels that stop the muck or silage from falling onto the dry cows. Sorry to remind you again!! Great drone shots and loved your music selection as it reflects your current situation ! Onwards and Upwards Tom
Great old style Tom chopping video with some banging tunes, can we have more like this please
49th! Hope you’re having a wonderful Tuesday afternoon Tom,Hiedie,,Luke,Hanna,Anna, and whoever else is working on the farm today. You can never have too much grass. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Good Day Tom from Murray Bridge South Australia.....
Happy Days to you all.
Good day from down the freeway in Adelaide 😂
LOVE the tractor music! Every song is on my playlist!! Great video!! Love watching/listening to your videos especially when I'm multitasking on the computer!
My favorite kind of video and with great drone shots!!!
At the beginning of the season it was so so wet and you thought the fields would never dry and make grass. Now you've got more grass than you have places to put it.
If you're planning to add 200 or 400 head of cows at the farm across the road then you're gonna need a bunch more storage space for all that feed.
Great video Tom awesome drone shots too, stay strong and focused keep motivated too we’ve all been there at some point in our life’s and it will come good again soon surround yourself with positive friends and family don’t be afraid to open up and talk about it with the right people
Looking forward to maize video ❤
I missed the last vid what's happened with all these comments saying being strong? obviously just wondering not meaning anything bad by it
He shared on his instagram last Friday that he has left Joanna.
@@BeyTobi ah right cheers mate, that is a shame
@@BeyTobi never rated her , probably cheating was she ?
@philiphall4805 Never rated her in comparison to what? She did nothing wrong and is heartbroken that she's been left a single mother.
Lots of lovely grass, that roller is brilliant. 👍
What you want for the future of your ever growing silage clamp needs: are those track mounted, vacuum sheeting systems.
I'm sure if you offer to pay for it, Tom would be delighted to have it 😉😊
@@trippinggauntlet4520 I guarantee that with the massive cattle operation expansion, that they are looking at every labour saving system out there. This is like adding the aeration system to the slurry tank. Sheeting up is something Tom hates more than anything. They're going to have to build more silage clamps very soon. Automating them makes a lot of sense.
@@gregedmand9939 I'm absolutely not arguing with you, I'm sure if Tom had an unlimited budget, he'd be at the front of the queue, but he doesn't. We can see that pretty much every penny he's earned on TH-cam he's invested into the farm, and goodness what an amazing job he's done. Sure I remember he said before the tube they only had a budget of £1500 pa. for farm improvements and most of that ended up on tractor repairs. 6 ish years and the farm is barely recognisable.
Anyway I wasn't being critical, I was being cheeky, hope I caused no offence and if I did I apologise.
Tom your are officially a messy bugger! Not a contractor every contractors tractor I’ve seen has always been immaculate 😂😂
I know for a fact that I'm not the only one who yawned when he did. 😂 Yawning is contagious, even across an ocean.
Please use more songs from Lewis every timemif it is possible it was such a nice change ❤
Well done one and all , especially the Ledgen Andrew Pemberton Esq.😊
Great video Tom surprised your dad let you fill those trailers as far as they were at the beginning and just a quick one always remember there’s two in a relationship. It’s not just about one person.
It's a good problem having too much grass 😂 love seeing your dad do in his favourite job, rolling x keep it up bud xx
You always get an A plus with the drone shots-
Here in the Midwest, we’re flat ground with corn and soybeans.
Good video Tom, Lots of grass better too much then not enough.
Very Brave Tom
Love u guys. Mr. Ginger ur a Legend sir. I could watch a livecam if y’all had one for the hours of operation.
Great Craic!!!! Cheers 🍻 from Texas guys
Wicked drone work sir 🫡 also loved your transitions in this one. Love a good edit
Loved the video! It’s nice to see you have too much grass! Most of time you hard working farmers are scrambling to have just enough of things. Tom, don’t ever stop singing loudly, it’s good for your soul. I blast my tunes and sing (ok maybe sounds like howling) as I do my housework, paint walls, whatever. I’m older than your dad and this is and has always been who I am. It makes me feel happy, brings out my energy and I like it. If people don’t like it, they can go pound sand! Don’t change your videos or who you are, you drew us here and what you do and accomplish. I think it’s quite extraordinary and quite ignorant that people watch your video and give you a ‘bitch’ list of what they want you to change. Let them make their own damn channel. AND your personal life us none of my business and it doesn’t change that I just love your whole darn family! Keep your chin up, you’re doing just fine!❤❤
Tom please cover the Walls with Plastic to seal it that way, it good in many ways, the Walls get protected from the silage juice and the silage dont gets bad of air coming in.
We’ve been asking for years. He won’t do it.
Tom likes spoilage...
Tell me he’s not leaving the clamps open all night too 🫣
Good comment 👌🏻 feed get a better quality if he does that
He's too stupid
Great chopping video!! Looking forward to maize video AND seeing where ye’ll fit it all in 🤞🏻😀 and we’re all here for you lad 😉
👀🙄🐾👍More of Andrews wise words
Great and entertaining video! Nice that you got to ride in the Jaguar! Paul van Dyk’s “For an Angel” would be a great track for your extended drone shots/ timelapses. That silage roller is pretty class!
Living the dream Tom🎉
Have u ever considered doing a pool cover idea for your sheet? big roller at the back and slit to pull sheet through ?
RIP to the thought of Tom having a dedicated midding pit 😂
At first I thought you were saying RIP to hearing Tom throughout the whole video
Silly question but where you are storing this cut.. What about the much from the seperator? you going to park your muck spreader under it? as winter is coming therefore more poo?
RIGHT . Where you going the store the MAIZE? Asking for a Friend !! LOL
Shame you can’t get an easy sheet like trailers have but on a lot bigger scale hope your well mate another awesome vid
Simply lovely
Plenty of food for winter 👌🏼 top job
Keep on smashing it Tom. One day at time 😉
Really need to scrape off the topsoil and put down some gravel next to the midden/clamp. You're always just parking tractors and equipment there anyway. Might as well give up on the idea of it being grass/mud.
Great video Tom
Sad that you separated from your wife and don't live with your son anymore
*TOO**
Great video Tom. I enjoy the music and drone footage. Where will you put the midden? I suppose if it was a dedicated clamp you could put in an automated roller for the top cover
Great job tom nw can't wait to see the maize video
Looks like someone need to build another silage pit 😂great video
You are the best person 🎉😂😢😮😅
Is there a reason that you can't do a concrete silo? I think a couple of those would do you a lot of good in the way of saving space on the farm, saving tons of plastic, and saving a lot of manual labor.
Who would’ve thought you’d need more clamp?!😮 right after you put a lid on the other two
Silly question!?! Where’s the maise going? And do you have cows any more or do you just grow grass?
Great video Tom 👍👍
I just watched your farm tour on Real Farm Life. It was great. Can you do something similar on this channel.
There's a movie quote from Ferris Bueller film where the principle of the school is informing Ferris's mother that he missed 9 days from school that year. He says '' 9 times '' just like you Tom.
Look it up.
How do you not get copyright strikes?! The tunes are banging!
Great videos ❤
Tom have noticed a lot of maize being grown in the FY postcodes area...Have you grown that much?😆😆
A lot of feed (silage) is indeed a good problem to have! Especially if next year's weather is as bad as the current one and the cattle have to stay in the barn for longer than anyone wants. As for the Rhino not lifting high enough, I noticed that the lift-arms are attached at the highest setting on the implement. I don't know if it is possible, but would it be possible to put it on the lowest setting? That might give you a few more centimetres of lift to lessen the scraping on the floor when you've got a severe approach/departure angle. There again, if you haven't done it, then it is probably not possible for whatever reason.
One thing you can never have is too much grass. But it can certainly feel like it for a few weeks while it gets eaten down.
Hi Tom, where are you going to put the muck now you've filled it with silage?
Park a trailer under it maybe?
in Joannas garden
Hi Tom from Indiana, the way it looks Tom have plenty of feed for your cattle for long time that what I see anyway
Nice drone shots.
Perhaps a ag bag would have been useful for that extra grass or even maize silage
We finally get to see the perspective of the guy who shoots the rows into the trailers. ( sorry I didn’t know the name of that machine)… Very cool.
Forage harvester
How come you don't put up side sheets?
I know sheeting up sucks, and defintly if you've got to do it multiple times on one clamp😅😅 it sucks even more when the yields are not as good as you hoped😅😅😅
Just wondering where are u going to put ur maze silage pit and ur street muck as u have put a another silage pit in ur muck pit
is there a farming thing that's like a giant swimming pool cover you then just put massive weights on? would that help with sheeting up process? just an idea. probably nonsense, feel free to ignore.
Any chopping video’s a good chopping video. Tom, where on earth are you going to put the maize? You don’t have much room left.
Good video tom
16:00 that sunset Tom 😍 get some DN filters for that DJI Mavric & some LUT Packs or try to edit that for free, you could get some amazing footage with you GoPro and drone 💙, and droping the weight block at the start 🤣 once upon a time it would have been a job for the case front loader 💪, loved seeing the farm grow with youtube over the last 7 odd years buddy
it is not only about chopping but also grass and where you will put it. btw, you will need soon anotehr emergency clamp ...
and also about enjoying the north english sun and your singing skills (more the sun to be frank)
You need a step podium...style to put your weights, power harrow on...etc...makes,life easier and hard tidy...as it's in one place on each pad etc...
Did I miss something! Is that not your muck store🤔
That was. Now we wait to see where he’s going to store it. He needs at least 2 more clamps with what he is trying to do
Sidesheets!!!!
I am bored of pointing this out. Their management is pretty average to be honest.
I remember sending you a picture Tom when I saw you on pegs lane
Hate to be the one but it’s definitely ‘too’ much grass not ‘to’.
Another great vid Tom 👍
I trust ginger man is guiding Tom in the right direction
Here's a tune suggestion to help cheer you up - Stakka Bo / Here we go 🎤
Tom I didn’t see a single cow in this video.
But anyway…
Thanks for the video

Evening Tom
Well Tom are you going to.start sheeting up
What about those road compactor for gravel? Wouldn't that work for that (16:01) corner? Probably not worth the effort. But dont know if you want to look into it.
It would be nice to catch up your lady and mini Tom if she agrees. He must be quite big now.
You can never have too much grass.
They are separated. Tom left her

Remember the lower the percent answer, it’s good to talk 👍

Hi Tom I have a question what are advantages/disadvantages to using a silage clamp instead of silage bales?
You don’t half listen to some depressing tunes 🤣
It has been a good grass year. But with everything at home it was only about 760 tons more than last year.
Not much in reserve
Is this grass also going to the beef finishing cattle also? Will you be putting in more clamps with that new building?
That music won't do you any good lad. Been exactly where you're at, except I couldn't even listen to any music or watch TV for at least 6 months. Time will heal, and you'll come out stronger.
