With the way your tires are chopping, you should start looking into getting the trailer alignment checked and possibly rebushed. When my trucks start wearing tires like that, it usually has a bushing blowing out.
#1 when dismounting tires with aluminum wheels, take them off from the opposite side. You wont scratch the wheels when you step in them or scratch them with any tools. Steel wheels only come off one way. Aluminum wheels dont matter. #2 air tires up laying down flat. Standing them up you take a chance of an off center mount. Owned trucks for 30 years. Many many tires in my time
@ i would say a cheaper one that you could probably zip tie to the radiator. You might have to use 2 depending on the size of the radiator. There was a guy that did that to his dump trucks. It helped
TRUCKER TIP!!! When I would get done washing or came in the yard in the winter, I pulled on the brake handle a little to dry off the brakes before I dropped the trailer. PS my trailer had 7 axles and in salty conditions we washed every time we came in.
I’m a driver instructor and my students from Europe tell me that Paccar engines are the worse that you could get, every single one is saying they like Scania, or Volvo, I know it’s not a thing in America or Canada, just saying what I hear,
We put shut off valves on the glad hands on our super bs and leave the brakes charged in the winter and chalk the tires. Then we never have brakes frozen...as long as you don't have any leaks!!
Hi Chet you probl know this but the tires need to be the same circumfrance if not the larger tire will cary more weight and the smaller tire will slide down the road cuntinually and wear out fast.
Who has the oldest Larson childern, Dougo or Randy? We know Dougo has two and Randy has two or three? But it looks like everyone works on the farm. Of course everything equipment wise is Broady clean!
Why don't you take all the protective covering off the wires and de-pin it and rebuild the wiring harness for what it cost and make sure to take pictures of were each pin went to which plugs.
I’m a Kubota technician and we see that a lot with harnesses on engines and entire machines with the harnesses getting moisture and heat damage and just not acting right with the computer due to the smallest little shorts. or even rat damage due to the coating on most harnesses nowadays the coating rats love due to it having soybeans in it. DEF systems also causes the big issues due to smallest little problems.
u would think they would cover the turbo with a heat blanket... for all the money u pay for ur farm equipment... but I bet u do t have a blanket on the turbo
Oh god! Case still haven't learnt, the put the engine ecu in the cvx tractors under the bonnet next to the turbo,, the headaches from those things cooking em one after another at 6k a pop.. grrr
Hopefully you guys saved that old harness or at least cut the connectors off. I try to save connectors from sensors and other items when I replace them. It can get you out of a bind
Electronics does not work well with dirt and heat! Then they have a monopoly on the software so the farmer is screwed again. $900 for a friggen harness is insane!
Chet, you keep saying that the Factor meals are ready in 2 minutes. Everyone I have cooked has taken 4 to 6 minutes to cook and yes, they do taste good.
Use code LARSON50 to get 50% OFF your first Factor box plus 20% off your next month of orders at bit.ly/44GtvNb
Did you not take that out of the freezer?
Hey Big Swede, we’d love to see some deer hunting videos from all of you.
It looked like another busy day in the shop Chet. Cool video 👍❤️
With the way your tires are chopping, you should start looking into getting the trailer alignment checked and possibly rebushed. When my trucks start wearing tires like that, it usually has a bushing blowing out.
Well, the big Swede was in the middle of the deer story and the video ended. Cliff hanger
Ya what a deal not
Its happened a few times.. this new editing company sure drops the ball lots
@@hockeystar593 Almost wonder it it was intentional. I like the cliff hanger stop... keeps me coming back for more.
I'd say at a gusse it was probably cut off for cencership reasons, or after uploading it got cut for whatever reason.
I didn’t even notice
My attention had already wondered elsewhere
Ohh I love to see clean equipment! 🎈
Thanks for the video
You know what's nice about these TH-cam videos you can fast-forward through the commercials!!!!!!!
Yeah, and they're rather predictable in length
Ublock Origin and you don't see commercial's.

Here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year, guys.
Great video. thank you guys
Wishing the Larson farm family a awsome New Year!! Thanks for all the videos this year May next year be just as awsome stay safe!!
Happy New Year, Larsons . . . you all deserve it . . .
Hi good afternoon Larson farms from Indiana, you guys have a happy new years to everyone that includes Eric and Brody
A simple multimeter continuity check on that harness would tell you what you needed to know. Been there done that fellas
Check the suspension bushing as that will kill the tires
Too late now...but maybe wrap that part of the harness is some fibreglass insulating tape.
Loved this! Always inspiring to watch your videos.
You will receive it on the day of delivery.
Case definitely didn’t think it through on the placement of the harness going next to the turbo 😡
Great year. Thanks
Nice editing at the end.
Release your park brake when you grease the S-cams
Your guys make great videos
WD-40 clips before you take them off. It will help with the Gritt lock.
I always use electrical silicone or thin dab of dielectric.
You should put furnace filters in front of the truck radiators it helps keep bugs and lots of dust out of your radiators.
What kind of furnace filter
@ i would say a cheaper one that you could probably zip tie to the radiator. You might have to use 2 depending on the size of the radiator. There was a guy that did that to his dump trucks. It helped
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this is not the Beverly Hillbillies
@@daveklein2826 didn’t say or think it was. It’s just a helpful hint.
@@daveklein2826His comment was helpful, yours is not.

WD-40 in your truck air tanks every winter. It works like magic
I’m a driver instructor and my students from Europe tell me that Paccar engines are the worse that you could get, every single one is saying they like Scania, or Volvo, I know it’s not a thing in America or Canada, just saying what I hear,
It is definitely a thing here in the states! Paccar engines suck! DEF issues and head gaskets.
We put shut off valves on the glad hands on our super bs and leave the brakes charged in the winter and chalk the tires. Then we never have brakes frozen...as long as you don't have any leaks!!
Send it to porch electric in lostant Illinois have it rebuilt
great video
Johnny needs to make an appearance. Thanks for sharing 2024 with us.
Hi Chet you probl know this but the tires need to be the same circumfrance if not the larger tire will cary more weight and the smaller tire will slide down the road cuntinually and wear out fast.
I'm amazed yiu don't have more sensor issues the amount of washing you do. We have nwvr over washed a combine. Blow itnoff and call it done
They care about their machinery..... You don't
I took a 185 pound doe to be processed.
electrical contact cleaner spray can costs $12.00
.. turned out they were a little more damaged than that :)
Merry Christmas, Happy New Years!
Love the video guys much love and respect thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Who has the oldest Larson childern, Dougo or Randy? We know Dougo has two and Randy has two or three?
But it looks like everyone works on the farm. Of course everything equipment wise is Broady clean!
900 bucks for your tractor harness I had to buy a new chassis node harness for my kenwroth 5400 bucks
Looking slim an trim Brody keep it up ❤
I'd only run 90 psi in your trailer tires... when your pressure is too high, the tires will chop out.
Love it
Thanks for the video. Lots of projects in the shop. Everyone is busy with lots of projects.
Thanks.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
That is a good-looking tractor. I like the 86’s the most.
Surprised when you got the tire machine you didn’t get one that could handle truck tires
His parents must be proud of this young man, hard worker
You could use additional Automotive High Temperature Fabric Adhesive Tape in the areas close to the exhaust components.
Share the beer, share the deer!
I love that dougo’s concrete fiasco has been engrained in the stone of time by being part of the new intro😂
Always makes me laugh! 😅
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie and steve great work and it was a good change the harness but 900 not good
I hope you don’t find out what a prostate is like I did, when the doctor told me I had advanced prostate cancer
Always good content! Merry belated Christmas and Happy new year from British Columbia.
Why don't you take all the protective covering off the wires and de-pin it and rebuild the wiring harness for what it cost and make sure to take pictures of were each pin went to which plugs.
thank you
You guys should get a tire cage. It would be a shame to see u guys get hurt by a tire blowing up
Chet I would definately insulate that part of thr harness behind the turbo.
Eric, you should do a hunting video.
Awesome video guys. 🚜🚜🚜
Better get rid of that paccar. You can’t rebuild them have to pull whole motor and swap.

No matter the brand, I call them design flaw. Running cables too close should have never happened.
Team Larson .. Happy New Year to all ! God Bless
What happened to the end of the episode?
u would think they would cover the turbo with a heat blanket... for all the money u pay for ur farm equipment...
but I bet u do t have a blanket on the turbo
We put a central Greaser on all our trucks never have to grease it again. Just walk by and make sure there's grease in the pump
Get heat insulation for the harness that is near the turbo. There are several brands that work, and are easy to install..
Happy new year to sll at larson farms
So is the Swede going out on his own? Don’t see him much anymore and noticed the new sticker on his truck couple videos ago??
You should go thru that old harness to see if you find the problem or problems and fix them and keep harness
I can't seem to add a link. New phone and haven't learned the tricks yet.
Could you add extra heat shielding around the harness at that point of failure?
Btw Happy New Year
Happy New Year 🎉
Drive over Pits are great but battery powered grease guns are an awesome arm saver.
Chet….don’t ever get rid if the intro…LOVE IT…
Thanks Larson Farms for another awesome video. Good Luck in the new year.
water in cables
Chet 👉 Why not splice in new wires where the heat damage is located and save yourself $900.00?
Why is it Dougo gets all the fun jobs
Keep the old harness, use it as a pattern to make a new one.
Oh god! Case still haven't learnt, the put the engine ecu in the cvx tractors under the bonnet next to the turbo,, the headaches from those things cooking em one after another at 6k a pop.. grrr
John Deere 9360 was 1800
Lift it with the fork lift or better yet crane lift!
I wanted to hear more about the deer hunt. You guys should also film your hunts. I would love to see some Minnesota hunting!
Thanks for all the great vids in 2024. Cant wait for 2025!
Happy New Years Everyone , hated to redo harness on any tractor
CHET check out the TIRE DOCTOR maybe he has some tips on how to stop Tire Chop
Already gave up on the tire changer?
That isn’t big enough for semi tires!
@@LarsonFarms Oh! Well you've got plenty of smaller tires around too!
With Brody's stach , he looks like an actor who worked on a tractor, while Chet ate Factor, now I'm a hungry reactor. Happy New Year Larson Farms!
Great price for a wireing harness i paid 3500.00 for mine on my semi and theres 3 of them.
Awesome job guys!

Stop washing under the hoods of my peterbuilt trucks just because of the junk wire harness they have on paccars
Could be worse, it could have happened while in the field.
Wow looks like fun stuff is there any way to put a heat shield on the turbo to prevent to much heat
Why do all “modern” tractors have to be computer controlled with 10 miles of wiring ? I’ll stick to my 1992 or older iron🤨
Ivers Farms just traded a 715 Quadtrac in on new 645 Quadtrac If you are looking for like new big power They take excellent care of everything
TV dinner?
No, toasted cardboard.
Eric, please wear a seat belt, it does save life’s ya know
