It took me ages to learn just how to play this game, and Fallen Enchantress. I was just playing by air and doing whatever, then getting frustrated when I got swamped by a fleet, or army, not realising I was over designing everything and making silly luxury decisions. No, this isn't a civilisation game (my logic) no this is a PRUSSIA game! The whole nation is merely a vessel for the manufacture, support, and deployment of the military. You *may* pursue other avenues of development, but only so long as they serve the military in the end. They key, I find, is to develop military forces not for their sheer individual raw power, but for their ability to be sustainably produced and fielded. A fancy battleship is all well and good, but not if it takes 20 turns to build and half the economy to keep running. No, I design and build 2-turn warships, exclusively. A design based on the manufacturing capacity of my primary shipyard/forge world. I do this in the knowledge that every two turns my main producer can give me a new warship, every other turn turn, for as long as I have the economy to support them. And from there the wars are not about one vs one duels between experts, where one dice roll will decide the fate of the galaxy, but so that through sheer industrial, scientific, and military planning I can grind my foes into dust.
Great job creating this type of content! I especially enjoy seeing a game that interests me for about 45 minutes a stretch reaching the endgame in less than 45 minutes 😛
Yeah watching this video given the costs in giga mass there should/needs to be another way to acquire it even if it is like a late game thing that gives it slowly. The way it is here it seems like far to precious a resource
If the game allowed decommissioning to get gigamass back and gave gigamass from destroyed ships an something survey ships could collect at a battle site, it would probably be more fun. Does seem like trade for gigamass might be another strategy
Man I haven't played in ages, and this looks like a totally different game at this point. Might have to boot her up again. Edit: Definitely thought this was Stellaris. That explains why it looks like a different game. 😂
I'm surprised TH-cam didn''t complain for putting the word... *looks to make sure coast is clear* slaves. They've been on a demonetization warpath for the last few years, from what I've heard.
The last Galactic Civs I've played was 3. I enjoyed it but felt it was a bit too simple, not in a challenge way but in a complexity way. Is 4 worth trying?
I don't get it... The game says that megastructures are made with super DENSE materials? When in reality the race is to find the lowest density materials compared to their resistance to stress? I'm confused.
I like Pravus' GNN segments! Keep doing them please!
Pravus has the perfect voice for it.

I have noticed that the military power is not always a good indicator as the small bad ships stacked up still lose to less better ships.

A new GalCiv video? Praise Pravus!

The gigamass race is too stringent for my taste
