you shouldnt actually quit because you cant collect the unemployment insurance. you should just quit but stay until they fire you and work on little side projects.
i got thrown out of a low level college with less than a 2.0 . then i started working three jobs ( i like to work i didnt have to ). one of the jobs as a security gaurd i ended up asking the guys behind the door they were gaurding what they did, they said programming. so i started teaching myself c++ from a book without a computer. it was a gimmic but one day someone ask me for my resume and boom i was hired to morgan stanley i.t. in 1999 as a programmer. i ended up paying off my house at the age of 39. since then it has doubled in value. im 50 years old now and ive been semi retired for 15 out of the 30 years ive been in the workforce. the point of all our hard work is to make money and to live an easy life. looking back i could have done everything like pay off my house at the age of 28 had i just started everything at the age of 14 and totally skipped college. even high school wasnt worth it. most jobs out here only use an 8th grade education level to complete. its all baloney. dont even go to college. last year i made 200k but sometimes i dont make anything because i just take the savings and sit on it or pay off my house. it helps that you stay married. yeah thats more important than college.. self teaching is #1 especially in the age of google and even more so now with a.i.. imlatino by the way

Yes, confirming that buying less new clothes & wearing the current ones more frequently make me feel loved them, treasured them a lot. And accordingly, having more space in the closet also. Really really happy to see that.

I want to let go of perfectionism and toxic people in my life. Love the book mindset, growth mindset should be taught more in our education system so that more people can benefit from embracing this

Thank you so much for creating great content. This year I have been on a mission to improve myself and take care of myself more... I am a mom of four and the oldest of three (only girl). I never loved complaining, but people around me, including my family, have always felt comfortable enough to dump all their issues on me, and for some reason I have always wanted to help them figure out solutions (whether they asked for solutions or not). Being a mom, really taught me that not only do I not have solutions sometimes, but also, I shouldn't come up with solutions for people. So something I'd like to fully quit this year is coming up with answers or advice for people. Thank you.

Hi Laurie, first time watching your video, and I love the points you shared, especially on quitting complaining that things are not in my control. This was a mindset shift that really helped me change the way I view life, because at the end of the day, we are all responsible for the outcome of our lives, and we have the power to determine how we want our lives to end up.
I also love reading books, and took down your book recommendations, thank you!

Same I’ve been reading my books and I’m reading the 4 hour workweek that you recommended and it’s a great book !
I have never been an obsessive social media scroller but now I maybe look at it once a week to see if my “real” friends(not followers)
    are sharing something
I love your videos and I listen to you while I’m at the office on my headset since we don’t receive any phone calls in my current role

Me too !! There is someone at my office that says “you’re upset at what our manager just said when he pointed out your error right”??
I replied “not but if you want me to be upset because you thrive on seeing others miserable then maybe you need help with that “?? It’s unbelievable how many energy vampires we are surrounded by and these women are in their 40’s and 50’s… have we not left high school behind us “? 😮

Thanks, glad you liked the video! There’s a big difference between mindlessly scrolling and intentionally choosing what we consume. Mindless scrolling drains our energy and harms mental health, while purposeful content-like long-form videos, podcasts, and audiobooks-helps us grow and learn. By being intentional, we take control of our time, focusing on content that aligns with our goals and well-being. 🙌 Thanks for intentionally choosing to watch this video and I hope that it helped you too

Maybe a good way to approach this is to break the big task into small doable tasks that you can spread across multiple days. Sometimes we can underestimate how long it takes to do something and feeling overwhelmed when we can’t get something done within the timeframe. Hope this helps!

Good afternoon sister, hope you don't mind, I called you that. In the kingdom I belong, this is how we great one another, sister, brother. I love you so much that I can't help using that! Though occasionally, I do call out siders that too. Because, am more comfortable with that, even before I became born again I was use to like to generalized that, because in me, I use to feel that we are ought to be one! That is what it mean to call each other, brother, sister. Because in the kingdom I belong, one way is been illustrated in the law, is a father and family relationship and so the subjects in the kingdom are refer to as brothers and sisters. And how lovely, this world will be if we are all the same! But many are not yet in the kingdom, maybe because they have not yet hear the truth, and many others, are being disobedient to the call and the voice of the FATHER,So I like to ask? Are you born again? And if not, I invite you to receive CHRIST THE LORD, to be completely free! Free because we are all in sin and bondage if we are still living our lives without CHRIST. CHRIST is the wisdom of GOD THE FATHER. When man sined against GOD, and, was separated from HE as a result. Now to bring man back to HIMSELF, us, he sent THE LORD JESUS to come to the earth FROM HEAVEN, to the world to die for our sins and was raised back to life the third day also un our behave, that through HIm, we may have eternal life. See john:3:16-17. And it was out of love THE FATHER DID THAT. He loves us so much that he did not want us to perish. My dear, same with you, me, and everyone who came to this earth. He is our maker and love to fellowship with us, so that separation that happened initially, at the beginning of the ages, now through CHRIST, we have being brought back to our GOD AND FATHER. It is an interesting story to read and study, and please, ask the holy spirit to help you through this process because for this reason he was given to help us know and understand the scriptures. HE is the third person of the TRINITY. Study the whole scripture to know GOD THE FATHER more and if you need my assistance at any time, let me know. Cheers, love you. And another thing, is that am interested in the kind of books you read. It was because of this, I decided to write this massage, if you don't mind, can you send the list of all the books you have read, that made you the person you are? And, if I should get them and see that they are okay for me to read, I will do so. I love your spirit, but I also know that all of whom you are, are, not just based on those books but that GOD'S spirit would have also done his work on you. Read Roman:10:17. And if you are not a Christian. That is what we are also call. I invite you to become part of the family!!! Cheers.
