I'm a Lyft driver, I've been punched, I've been drugged, Lyft does nothing to support drivers who are assaulted. There is a $250 fee if a passenger assaults a driver but do they pass the fee onto the driver? Of course not! They keep it for themselves. I was drugged and felt like I was gonna have a heartattack, I asked the support person to call me the next day to make sure I'm not dead and they were like um no sorry we don't do that.
If you are a Gig Worker, you are a Share-Cropper, literally. Once you accept that fact, make the needed adjustments to make a profit. You do set your own schedule after all.
Lyft and Uber are both predatory companies doing everything in their power to destroy actual Taxis, where there is more accountability and responsibility.
Gee, what did we do in the days when we didn't have such technology. We somehow managed to go to school then! We have a generation of whiny cry babies. Weak, very weak!
First off, how is it lyft's fault that a valid driver permitted an invalid person to respond to the drive request? This woman is opportunistic in her lawsuit, not going after the driver who allowed someone else to use his app, because he doesn't have deep pockets to pick. Also, why hasn't CO sent the kits to another state's lab to speed up processing, like Wyoming or Kansas?

Then don't drive for Lyft anymore, vote with your feet and find another way to make money.

You are the one who is whining. It's only common sense to try to keep warm and avoid frostbite.
When is summer coming?
