Tried being objective. So I cooked them. And tried one. It was apparently not edible. It apparently tasted like plastic. They were not expired. They were sold in a major brand grocery store. Out of the refrigerated isle.
The people at Impossible and Beyond never claimed their meat was "healthy," that was never the goal of their project. They wanted something that could emulate real meat so people who love the taste of meat could eat what they love and be more environmentally and ethically conscience. But yes, their "meat" is in fact slightly healthier than real meat but no, it isn't like a salad with no dressing.
I mean there's like every other plant-based burger. If you're trying to make something that tastes like meat, you're probably gonna end up with something about as unhealthy
Sweet Earth is a pretty good option I think. It's more plant-like. You can tell it's vegan and that's on purpose, yet it tastes wonderful. You could also make your own.

Burger King doesn't sell real meat. Don't confuse fast food meat with grass fed organic beef. People have been eating animals for thousands of years but we only started getting fat recently when we buy our " food"from corporations.

It's not though. There's plenty of vegetarian and vegan healthy meat replacers. I get that people miss beef maybe and veggies burgers are not exactly the same taste wise but suger free chocolate doesn't taste exactly like chocolate either. I do agree that a plant based diet is usually better for many reasons and I am a meat eater. Healthier and more environmentally friendly and from an animal rights stand point but this buger ain't it.
