I worked at BK for a while, and the owners really wanted us to focus on additional sales, so whenever someone ordered a plain whopper or hamburger (and the like) I always asked whether they wanted it with cheese or not. 95% of the time people wanted cheese

I never realized how many fast food places America had until i started watching GMM. I don't even know how they remember them all.
One thing to remember is they live in the second largest city in America and have tons more options than the nation as a whole. And secondly, only burger king and carl's jr (which is only west coast btw) are fast food. Everything else was regular casual restaurant food.
@@lavenderoh East coast has Hardees which is Carl's Jr, but renamed. I'd say the east coast has about everything the west does, except we don't have very many In 'N Outs. We do have Cookout though so that's a plus. Look up Roy Rogers, it's very east coast. Also Mid-America has a place called Pizza Ranch, it's a pizza and fried chicken buffet where you can make your own pizzas. So good

@@justinstoddard4782 There's whataburger in Alabama, one in Georgia and some in Florida so I guess that could be considered somewhat East Coast, they're slowly expanding. We do have Joes Crab Shack (I don't eat seafood but there's one in Louisville Ky, an hour away from me) and Cafe Rio (Been to one in Virginia), Google is showing lots of results for R&R so I'm not sure which one you're talking about lol.
The others are pretty much west coast only.

@sierra brou That is VERY untrue. Unless you live in a big city with a lot of vegetarian options, most restaurants don't have a veggie burger option.

Heme is the naturally occurring iron found in beef. Usually plants have non heme iron. The impossible burger has genetically modified heme iron added to help mimic beef.

If you want a UK supermarket veggie burger, I had a couple from Lidl and I was seriously impressed with them (and also surprised it was from Lidl)
I've seen impossible burgers in the frozen section as tesco so that's probably worth a try

Maybe it's because I found this channel through Mythical Kitchen, where that kinda became the reg, but it doesn't bother me that much.
Though I do wish they would save the "best" one and use the second best one for the sneak peek (ex: instead of Link sinking the sauce toss in the preview, maybe one of their best jokes from that episode)

I’ve always preferred Beyond to Impossible but they’re both really great. I’ll keep both in the freezer. Beyond’s sausage is by far the best of anybody’s period. Always love the vegan burger taste tests.
