I'm here either for a greasy patty, a quick meal, because I don't feel like making food. Or ina mood and want to eat the saddest fish sandwich I've ever had, thanks, mcdonalds. I like to call them the kings of ridiculous controversy. So seeing them as not only one of the least popular joints and seeing them as the unhealthy worst.. second to wattaburger, I'm actually fine about having one once in a while to satisfy those rose tinted glasses my stomach wears called nolstalgia. After looking up my local Checkers, and comparing their rewards program to my normal go-to of Domino's (yes, I know they're different kinds of food), I feel it just reinforced my instinct that when it comes to burgers, you're better off just making it yourself. It's usually just as fast, provided you already have all the ingredients, and you have total control over how it's made and what goes in it.
For those who are curious, Rallies/Checkers' reward program is a $5 reward after spending $80. Domino's has theirs set up to give you points for each order of at least $5, so it's a little more involved, but you can get some things after just 2 orders, and progressively better stuff as you go until you get a medium pizza at 6 orders. So a $15 pizza at basic menu price with no coupon, after as little as $30 spent. Now admittedly, there's nothing stopping you from ordering $50 of pizza every time, but we're talking if you're aggressively gaming the system. Add in their coupon game routinely shaving nearly half the price off the order, and it's downright unfair.

Thank you guys for all this info and for making it speedy and entertaining btw!!
Since you guys went through all this research, it would've been even more helpful if you guys added the total weight (as they come) of each burger to see which one gets you more full.
And second, their prices. For example, if you ate 2 cheese burgers from Jack in the Box, do they weigh as much as one burger from Whataburger? And would one burger from 5 Guys or Carl's Jr be cheaper than Rallys or two from Jack in the box?
So I think weight (how filling a burger is) and price (if you have to "survive" off a burger a day) would be super helpful to add on to this research.
Maybe next do an order of fries or an order of chicken nuggets. Lol. Awesome show. Thanks once again.

I'm from Europe and I've been in USA for a week a couple months ago. My conclusion is that any fast food chain in Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden etc.) is way healthier than any of it's american counterparts. Also, I've never seen scrambled eggs made from powder in EU

People should give Dairy queen burgers a try. I prefer them to every other fast food burger i have tried. they taste less processed and looking at their stats they probably actually are. "never frozen" for a fast food place is honestly a slight red flag for me. that really just means they are preserving their meat in a less natural way than places that freeze the burgers. So "fresh never frozen beef" is really code for "we shoved this thing full of salt and perservatives! enjoy!"

    • @ghost307
      @ghost307 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I really like Dairy Queen burgers, but I rarely eat them.
Not all locations have food and there's no reliable way to tell from the outside.
I don't want to waste my time going into a location to find out that they only have ice cream or going to a location that says "Grill 'n' Chill" to find out that the only hot food they sell is hot dogs that have been sitting in the boiling water all day.
As a result, my go-to chain is Culvers because every location has the exact same menu and all the employees seem genuinely happy to be working there.

  • @iwontliveinfear

Dairy Queen Grill and Chill actually makes a pretty good burger.
The one time I was able to try In n Out it was a disappointment.
I lost 210 pounds eating 2 meals a day at BK, Double Whopper with cheese, no onions, heavy pickle, small fries and diet Dr Pepper for lunch and dinner 6 days a week. I walked to my local BK for those meals, and I was remodeling a house at the time, without a vehicle to transport supplies, so I was also manually hauling tools and supplies from the Lowe's that was across the street from the BK.

We have to consider that this is coming from the US branch, when a restaurant branches into other countries the restaurant has to meet that countries standards so it could be better or worse in other countries, heck its possible that the results are different from state to state aswell, while yes the brand has to keep consistency local laws in some states might cause some of the locations to do specific tweaks to the preparations.
I actually really love BK and prefer it over the other companies that have been in the area for longer, but then again I have a very fast metabolism I've been the same weight (give or take 5lbs) since high school and it does not seem to really matter what I eat Im not changing much in weight or health. I am from Canada also just to say.

MatPat!! No!! INO FOLDS THE CHEESE. ITS ONLY ONE SLICE ON A CHEESEBURGER! 😭😭😭
Okay, now that I’ve taken a breath…. Obviously, I love your channels. We watch you all the time. But I worked at In-N-Out for 6 years and I just have to correct you (for science). INO folds the cheese so that it looks better from the front and fits on the burger better. So a cheeseburger from INO only has one slice of cheese unless you ask for more (which you totally can).

Burger King was my favorite back when they first came out with the BK Stackers, because they were legitimate full-sized hamburgers and not just sliders. I would get the Quad Stacker every time, and THAT was a lot of burger and it was great. I lost interest in it when they got rid of that, but I'm still more likely to stop at Burger King than most of these other places. If I was worried about eating "healthy", I wouldn't be going to a fast food joint in the first place.

you guys definitely gave rally's an unfair advantage here compared to the competition, using their all american cheese burger which would be closer to the mcdonald's single cheeseburger. the cheese champ burger they offer i believe would be the more correct comparison and while it doesn't take them out of the running for one of the better ones, it's much closer in terms of total mass compared to the competition

    • @ukko1998

even more fair would be to compare nutrients to calories, because that way it does't matter what is the size of the burger, but it tells the most accurate way which burger is most healthy, but even this way those burgers should be similar to make it fair
