I've used infusible in on sublimation mugs without a press. I use a silicone wrap and bake it in the oven. Works great!!

Tamara Carman You can use the easy press on many items. It wasn’t a wasted purchase.
Do you use a regular oven or the convection? I’ve been seeing tutorials but they always use the convection (which I do not have)

I have to say you are very informative and relatable. I'm about 2 weeks in with my cricut and 5-1 heat press. I have yet to do mugs but i am looking forward to it. The puzzles are genius... holiday season coming. Thank you so much.
Do mugs in the oven. Preheat to 350 and pop them in with the design on them for 30 minutes.

You don't need a heat press to do sublimation/Infusible Ink on a mug. Put it in a preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes with the design on it.
So can you just draw on the mug with the markers then put in the oven?
Correct!!
I *think* you have to draw your image onto paper, and use heat tape to tape the paper onto the mug, and do it that way :)

Would the easy press mini work on the mug with heat resistant tape holding it in place? Just curious.
Hello!! So, when you use Infusible ink on mugs, since the heat plate doesn't set flush with the entire design, you won't have even heating on the design so you won't have even color on your mug, so we don't recommend using this method for mugs :) Hope that makes sense!!
Is there any heat transfer paper to use on mugs for an inkjet printer?

I was told Laser Copy Paper and got it at Wal-Mart for $3 a pack.
Can infusable ink be transfered ti clay, not air dry or polymer clay.?
I have used multi use printer paper, it's says it can be used in laser printers.

I think she's saying that there are other tutorials and videos posted by this site that does just that shows and tells and demonstrates results. So just go to the site and scroll down through their posts for what you may be looking for via titles they have posted.
Do you think I will be able to use infusible ink on a white faux fur rug??
No, Infusible ink only works on material that is at least 65% polyester. Plus the ink would lay weird on the fur and not look good when shifted around. Hope this helps!

Waterslide would be better. You can't use infusible ink on any ole cup, it has to be a special cup that's coated with a product that will take in the ink. Hope this helps!

Yes, only thing is you need a mug heat press. I did a small design on a square mug with easy press, it did work, but needed full contact.
@@sugarroseteacups1959 I'm hearing people in my group online have used Air FRYERS and toaster ovens with great success instead of mug presses.They still cover it with butcher paper.
@@sugarroseteacups1959 try using an air fryer or toaster oven. I know some who have used it with great success. let it cool in oven before removing .

Hi can you use infusable ink only on sublimation items?
Yes. It is NOT the same as vinyl. The process is basically transferring ink from one place to another. So, there is a chemical reaction that has to take place. The product you are putting the ink on must be made up of polyester. This is basically just sublimation simplified for those that don't want to learn to do it, or can't foot the bill for a put together system (printer and inks), or don't want to do it enough to look into converting a Canon printer.

I just went to the link for the hats. And they are $12 For one hat. So where did you find four hats in a pack for $3.99 each?
Amazon changes their prices so often. Since this video we have learned not to say prices on videos because they are so quick to change.
I surmise the sellers raised prices when demand when up from the inbound clicks starting Aug '19. I searched Amazon for "sublimation hat blanks", and couldn't find the right fabric blend anymore at a good price. This term brought up what they do have: "blank hat 35 % Cotton, 65 % Polyester"
So TH-cam just advertised a sex toy to me during an ad on this video 🧐- it was weird as hell.

Polyester is just a huge NO. There are not enough words to describe how much I hate this fiber. It is basically wearing plastic. It's hot, it collects hair and lint, and it will be around in land fills until the end of time. I see the infusible line already being discounted out in Michaels so Im going to call this a huge fail.
