My man said "Is there an episode 3?" Mate, you just started one of the most thorough and hilarious abridged series of all time. I'm not sure you understand what you got yourself into lol.
There is 60 episodes with three 3-part season finales, along with 9 (I think?) abridged movies. Get comfortable it's a long and wonderful ride.
64 episodes total. Episodes 10 and 60 are each broken into three parts. There are also the Kai episodes and the TFS original side series, including the Cell Games, the post-series slice of life episodes, and The Home for Infinite Losers.
@@johns6014 Episodes 10 (Saiyan Saga), 30 (Namek/Frieza Saga) and 60 (Cell/Android Saga) are 3 parts each. I stated Three 3-part season finales in my original post. There's also the epilogue with Trunks so I guess 61 episodes with 3 3-part finale's.
Also Kai is more of an Abridged of the DBZ:A. Not really something I would consider part of the DBZ:A "series" per se. More of a related project.
Also I don't consider the side-series to technically be a part of DBZ:A either. Not to say they aren't good. They're just spin-offs in my opinion.
They aren't taking original DBZ content and re-imagining it. Those are TFS' original creations.

YAY! I love DBZA, and I'm glad you're tackling a bunch of episodes at once.
The first few episodes are very... OG TH-cam Parody. It gets REALLY good as time goes on though.
The first abridged movie is a good taste of the modern quality, and technically takes place before episode 1
Also there's always a post-credits scene in every episodes, just so you know
In the original series when Piccolo throws Gohan at the plateau he erases the entire thing. lol
Turles was Goku's noncanon twin cousin in one of the DBZ movies. The one with the huge tree that converted the Earth's energy into fruit.
the princess snake thing is a reference to metal gear solid. the main character is solid snake

26:14 That actually IS one of Piccolo's attacks. One of my favorite moments in Dragon Ball Z is when he gives his outfit to Gohan before they fight Cell.

The stuff with princess snake, like her deep voice and hiding in a cardboard box and sneaking up on goku while he's in the hot tub, is a reference to the metal gear solid videogame franchise.

This series gets better as it goes on. At this point I think I might have more reverence for the Abridged series than I do the original.
The abridged princesses snake used a lot of reference to snake from metal gear solid. "Get it. It's a pun."

Cool that you're starting this awesome series, Season 1 is old and it was their debut so it may start a little rough but it just keep getting better and better, also it's cool that you watch multiple episodes cause the pacing is pretty quick tbh
the single ep version which makes ep 1 like 3hours ep 2 also extended is a far superior viewing experience. you are a good 2nd
First, the mountain was not screaming... Have you never seen those commercials where the guy in the mountains says Ricola?
Second, you do not ask why Popo is laughing. You just run and hope he doesn't care enough to find you. Avoid the shadows, for that's where he dwells.
DBZA starts off painfully slow but it quickly picks up about 10 episodes in.
DON! Continue this!!! the first 7 eps are a bit slow, but it gets AMAZING

I first saw DBZ abridged 6 years ago, it was around episodes 48-50 when i caught up to it and had to wait forever for the rest! But I to this day still love and watch this abridged series. Its so good and Im really excited for you to enjoy it as well.

On the bug planet in the original it was kinda sad the king put one of the prisoners in there after taking his wife and then when vegeta and nappa freed them his wife and him finally reunited and right when they hugged their planet exploded

You need to jump back on this - the comments are saying the first episodes are mid but it gets good from around the 10 episode mark and then incredible from the 20 episode mark. those comments are straight up facts.

My mans why are there like chunks of episodes missing. You missed the whole “Mahogany” things with King Yema and Yamaha cheating on Bulma and Piccolo explaining how his Mankakosapo (special beam canon) works. You’ll probably need that for context on some jokes later.
He cuts out most of the parts he doesn't have much of a reaction to. He still watches it, he just doesn't include it in the video.

As a wrestling fan I can only give that Full Nelson a 3/10. It is not really locked in until you can intertwine your fingers behind the neck. This is the best Abridged series in my opinion. It takes an already fairly likable show and does wonders with humor. Only downside is you really need to already be a fan to get a lot of the jokes. Even when you are a big fan of the source material it is fairly easy for some jokes to go over your head. You also have to know about stuff like AB Dub groupe and some other small stuff. Unlike say Sword Art Abridged where I would suggest you never watch the source material.

Yeah but they also kinda ruin some of the jokes, as they were made by fans and set up or spoil upcoming jokes at times. Definitely better to use them on a second viewing than to use them on the first.
You should watch with Canadian subs if you are using subs.
Use the English Canada ccs it's bare jokes and will make you laugh
