It's a joke that they made "charisma" a stat in the game. So whenever he equips the hat, it just kinda makes people have to agree with him because it has a high charisma stat lol
A lot of RPGs actually have "Charisma" as a stat and is used to alter your interactions for NPCs.
For instance, someone with a high charisma will be better at talking their way out of conflicts or will be better at recruiting allies.
They're taking a stat that in any other game would only apply to NPCs and make it work on other players.

A profanity filter makes it so players can’t curse in game, they can try but it’s “bleeped out” but when it’s turned off the curse words can be heard.
Yeeeaaah I wish that was all it was. A profanity filter also blurs adult content. Soooooooo. You can guess what that being off could mean in a full VR world...
@@kitfisto1847 The word "profanity" refers to language that is obscene or blasphemous. It does not refer to imagery. Especially in this abridged series, the filter only refers to swear words. What you're talking about is censorship as a whole, not just a profanity filter.

All these episodes had post-credit scenes that you missed: episode 1 was the end of the beta tester video, the tester killed someone. Episode 2 was the formation of Laughing Coffin, Jeffrey took his hallucination of Jesus telling him to kill everyone seriously. Episode 3 was the revelation the don of the mob was Fluffles, the cat that learned to play. Episode 4 was Silica cut the heck out of Kirito’s face after Pina’s heart expired after all that. I would still go back and watch them- they’re funny.
Profanity is swearing and lewd words. A profanity filter blinks them to hide them. The filter was turned off at the end of episode 1 so everyone can hear everyone swear- you may have noticed the beeps stopped.
EverQuest was an extremely popular MMORPG. It’s still around but you don’t hear people talk about it anymore.
Keida’s hat had an effect of +50 charisma making him so charming that no one could say no to him, not even Kirito, which is why he kept complaining about the hat every time it was used to force him to do something.
EQ 1 & 2 both have more than 2.3 Mill & 1 Mill player base still and both still have expansions being sold.

2. Kirito wasn't THAT upset canonically; he felt bad because he wanted to team up with Klein but didn't think he could keep an entire group alive.
3. You may have missed it, but the "Final Solution" was a uhh... holocaust thing? And look back on that scene and you'll see a guy with a very curious accent seem interested in it...
4. Diabel didn't take the potion because he didn't think he could survive the game and decided to end it there instead of potentially suffering more before he does so.

@@Taygon45 i mean if they all weren’t stuck in the game, you would probably be able to make a new character with another name, class and skills just like you can in most mordern rpg games but because they are trapped then they can’t really go back to the character customization menu and therefore can’t change their name, and just because you can’t change your name in a game doesn’t mean that it is shit

Damn it, I had to look for SAO Abridged in Russian dubbed because my English is not very good... In the end, all the efforts were well spent. And I join the people who praise this parody series. SAO is our everything.
The running gag with the "Charisma Hat" is that when the other guy is wearing it, he can make anyone agree to anything, which is how he got Kirito to join the guild.
I love how in episode 2, Kirito is among the group making stupid comments during the meeting, saying that he only skimmed the book that he fucking wrote and the likes.
It's just the VA voicing another random person in the crowd. He also voices another random crowd person and Timmy in Episode 1

Episode 2 asuna is different from all the others. The original va left the group and Carrie (bubblemunkey) has taken over ever since. To me, she just is asuna now and izzy is kirito

The reason behind Tiffany’s name is because in the original anime Agil actually was supposed to play the game with his wife but they only managed to get one copy and system so he was the one that got trapped in the game instead of his wife I love the details they put into the abridged especially when it comes to just how broken the game was in the anime and the abridged version make you realize that the guy who wrote the anime doesn’t actually know how RPGs are played and how they work

My favorite abridged version of SAO is a finnish version, where Kirito is actually Kakashi, Silica is Naruto and her pet dragon is Sasuke. I don't remember Sakura being there, but I also remember Agil being Ash and Kibaou was Pikachu. It was fucking wild! Almost forgot, Diabel is Krillin.
