If you click "SHOW MORE" in the description above your be able to see Links to the Tools 🔧🔨🔧 I use. Also Clickable Chapters📋 📙 throughout the video and other Links 🎬 that may be of interest. I've had a few viewers request where they can buy the tools they see in some of my videos but it's not very clear that the "SHOW MORE" tab has a lot of information in that may be of interest. Admittedly the amazon links are associated with me and I would earn a small commission which helps towards keeping the channel funded.
@@CoatsandGaiters Haha, I got it done in only a couple of hours, only minor injuries! I ended up cutting the springs with an angle grinder which is probably a bad idea, it worked though! Only other problem was rusty shock lower bolts, they needed easing out with wd40 and back and forth motion. Thanks again!
Could you not even get the sway bar bolts undone and open the control arm enough to fit the spring without compression? I'm getting ready to tackle this and was planning to remove damper and sway bar thinking I'd get enough space that way?

Thanks for this, much appreciated. I’m going to give it a try tomorrow. Flippin’ Ford rust!
Good luck and be careful. Protect yourself and don't take risks that could get you in A&E.

@@wibblywobbly1234 Good to hear you done it and didn't get injured. Happy days and money saved.
This is why i love you tube you legend I'll be doing this in the next few days
Thank you and good luck
Excellent video! Thank you for filming your process. Your commentary and editing was superb. I hope she went through the MOT OK
EDIT: Just saw she didn't! Will watch the series now!
Thank you for the compliment.
At least the rim of the spare tire and the jack aren't rusted. That's a welcome surprise!
Haha true !!! I'm on the sill now. Have cut open an old helium bottle for the steel to repair the sill with.
@@CoatsandGaiters looking forward to that video! I think I saw a short of the helium bottle, on how to empty and punch it
@@lukas0846 That's the bottle Lukas. They don't come much tighter than me where money is concerned lol

I'd buy new bolts and just cut the old ones off. Mine were so rusted it was unreal. Maybe an induction heater would work but I don't own one.
Glad to see you are creating new customers for the funeral directors. Why not just buy the fork type compressors and save risking serious injury?
Nothing would fit. I had every type of spring compressor at the time.
good job, looks a bit dangerous but 8 straps will minimize that. better wear a full helmet next time. Thanx 4 sharing 👍
Thank you. Probably not a bad idea to wear a motorcycle helmet. I sold them all now since selling my bikes years ago.
Hi, I think you were too light on the corrosion inhibitor...🤣. And couln't you use bigger straps with that cranking handle...? Regards
I had bigger straps but there was the risk of the webbing getting trapped in the coils top and bottom.
