in the version of Valravn in the comments they say that this song: It was written down in runes on leather sometime around 1300 in the document "Codex Runicus". Codex Runicus is a lawtext for the region of Skåne (now part of Sweden).
Yes, all of Skånelandene/The Scania Lands (Skåne/Halland/Blekinge/Bornholm) was Danish until the Swedish invasion and occupation, followed by the bloody Swedification of the region. The first Danish law text was Skånske Lov, preceding Jydske Lov. Skåne was very much one the most important parts of Denmark with Lund nearly becoming the capital after Roskilde. Copenhagen made sense to become the capital as it lay in the centre of the country.

Yes, the drunk and stoned slave woman who volunteer to follow her Earl in his grave to serve him in his afterlife, is signing the song briefly, before she's retrieved to be sacrificed.
@@BikerBabeDK Not sure it makes sense for a slave to sing since it's a song about "wealth and stability/justice" (silki og ærlig pæl). Sounds more like the song of a trader. But it's still a great tune.
