I bought a pair of these TCX Clima Surround Gore-Tex motorcycle boots last year having used another pair of TCX boots for the previous 13 years. I should add that I'm a hobby motorcyclist riding between 5 - 8,000km / year. With less than 16 months use, the Abrasion Resistant Cordura Mesh in the area of the gear change has completely worn through. I contacted the retailer who, in turn contacted the importer. The response from them was "They will not cover the shoe as this is a user error. You get the gear selector in the wrong place and there is nothing TCX can do about it". Strange that I used the previous pair of TCX boots (on the same bike) for 13 years without having a similar problem. I then contacted TCX headquarters in Italy direct and have had no response whatsoever. Terrible customer service and I most certainly will not be considering TCX when looking for a replacement pair.

I have very wide feet, thx has been good in the past, are these also good on wide feet?
I've just popped to see the guys in the shop here in Boston and they say these boots are a good choice for people who have wide feet. I hope they work for you. Cheers, Tony

Hey how is the flexibility on this boots?? is is easy to gear up?? good for a walk?? comfort???
I find them very comfortable for walking. If you're talking about a full-on hike then I'd suggest something that laces up tightly rather than Velcro like these boots, but for wandering about these are very comfortable. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
How good is the toe protection?
Is it steel reinforced?
The toe protection is a solid plastic cup that's as good as any other boot of this type. Steel toecaps aren't used in bike boots for fear of what the edge could do to the rider's foot in certain types of accident. Cheers, Tony
