    I improved a lot my listening in 2 ways:
    - every day I watch at least one of your lesson, while I do wash up or on the bed, before I fall asleep;
    - I watched different American or British series.
    Thank you Anna! I also learnt two new words in this video: chore, to commute. 😊

    Anna, I just love the Implementation of your ads in your videos. The idea with the fortune-teller was great.
    BTW...How do I differentiate between male and female forms of an word like fortune-teller? I can't always hear it out of the context.
    Thanks and keep it going!

    I love you, to be honest you are the best native English teacher 👩‍🏫 that I have ever seen since I have come to London city of loves. You are the only one can teach English like a native, let me add one more thing here that no one can be your rival in teaching English for all students around the world those who really love English language. At the end I can say that I have learnt many things from you about English and I am almost like a native in 3 years time since watch you positive and effective videos thanks❤️. I’m like a native speaker and fluent via you❤️❤️. I’m from Afghanistan 🇦🇫 and my language (Persian-farsi)

      I had the same issue. I improved a lot when I started consuming media from outside the US. Currently, I have weekly lessons with two teachers from UK just to don't loose fluency. In the past I criticised British English of sounding confusing but it was just a matter of getting used to it.

    English Summer camps are also very useful. In that situation you have to speak in English and cannot speak other languages. This makes communication a bit difficult but for a short time you will learn english very well.
    I personally had speaking problems in English but 1 week later I started to speak English very well and I still express myself great. Don't forget difficult situations makes you stronger.

    Anna, could you please recommend some British shows and serials that are quite obscure for foreigners (not Doctor who, black mirror)? I guess it would be great to listen to natural pronunciation from these shows to improve our listening skills and broaden the vocabulary as well. I think it's a nice idea for a new video too. ;)
    Thanks a million for your job!

    it's a good idea to make full use of Internet lessons. The tricky subjects should be watched and listened to over and over again until you understand them. Taking notes and doing tests are absolutely vital. Always remember that tests are actually part of a lesson and it's always great to get full marks.

    Thans for sharing! I study&work more than 12 hours per day, so I usually listen English after 0:00, I just wanna know how many words should I conquer and how many should I just know about? 7k~20k ? I really wanna understand all the English liveing boardcasts, I am a Chinese, having no any chance to practice my broken English in daily life , even surfing on TH-cam is considered illegal, very hard for Chinese learning English.
