Hey Anthony, From experience in suspension and alignment for acouple years now I'll tell you this. Don't ask people for YOUR OWN alignment spec. Never ask people what YOU should run. People who run other people's specs thinking they'll run quick times are the dumbest people, but we all start somewhere. Your tires, shocks, springs, bushings sway bars etc. All these have different effects on one another. Tires, sway bars and shock/spring setup do most of the racing. Per setup your alignment will vary compared to someone else. What I recommend as a track day/touge racer myself is run a OEM spec Alignment for your first 2-3 track days/touge runs. This will give you a base line alignment to take notes on about your corner entries, mid corner movements, and exiting. BUT, Like i said before your sway bar, tire and shock/spring setup greatly effect these outcomes which is why i always recommended doing 1-2 track days completely stock if it can be done so you have full understanding of what the characteristics of the vehicle are (i.e understeering mid corner, oversteering exits, unstable.. etc) so you can do the correct modifications and not just throw parts at it and be slower than if you took the process correctly because you have some random suspension setup you think you need when you sometimes don't. But anyway, take notes on the characteristics, do your own research and take the correct adjustments based on your know-how. P.s love the videos
I have a few questions for you Josh. I have a 92 eg Hatch and the og tires are r13, and I just recently some slightly used rim/tires 205/50/r15 hanook. Do I need a camber kit for that? And also I have bought some used coilovers in great condition (tokiko strut /h&r springs), if I shall those would i need to get a wheel alighntment after words? I want to keep my suspension as close to stock as possible I really dont want it lowered too much. Thanks for your time
@@michaeldavidmontalvo2402 When you lower any car out of factory spec, the stock suspension geometry will be thrown out of spec. This is why I recommend when changing up your Shock/spring setup you also get aftermarket camber/toe arms so you can correct the alignment. So yes I would recommend buying a good set of camber arms and if you can, toe arms. The wider and taller wheels and tires wouldn't affect anything other than your acceleration, braking and other technical stuff like stability, turn in response, etc. H&R Springs are great if matched up correctly to the right shock. Most people make the mistake when buying shock/spring combos that the spring rate is too high for the shock valving and length, or vice versa too soft for the shock they've chosen to run. This mistake can cause acouple different issues especially under hard use.
Definitely best bang for your buck. Been running these for a little over a year now and still running perfect. Just be sure to check your alen bolts every few thousand miles.
Ideally around -2 to -3 degrees up front and -1 to -2 in the rear. More camber in the front is better, but if you aren't experienced keep it simple and learn on it as is before making drastic changes
I’m actually thinking of getting the front and rear camber kit for my 2003 Honda Accord its a little pricey but it looks like is going last a long time. Thanks for the video
This car has come a long way in a short time. Looks great! Soon it will be too nice to be a daily driver. That poor Evo has to sit there seeing all these cool parts while getting no attention. LOL
I agree. Any of those would be cool. Another good option would be just a very simple small turbo setup on the D16. 200-250 would be a lot of fun on the single cam.
All day Anthony, my wigga, what suspension set up do you have on your car? I want my ek hatch to draw as much 🐈 🐱 🐈⬛ as yours… would you recommend the parts in this video with your spring settings etc? Thank you kind sir
What's up Anthony how's it going? Gotta start off by saying, I enjoyed watching the unboxing because it does help with seeing what your getting before buying. And also listening to your thoughts regarding quality, etc. I'm about to swap out my upper control arms as well. I'm on a budget so, my two options are godspeed and truhart. My question to you, why go truhart over godspeed? Although they both look pretty identical, the ball joint on the truhart looks like it has a better "bolt locking" set up, If that makes sense. Other than that, what's your take?
Thanks man! Nice to know these videos don’t go to waste haha. I chose truhart mainly to keep things in the family with my suspension, but also because I love the finish!
Autocross? I have one and let me tell you go ahead and look at a better seat and rear sway bar. For autocross I would got -1.5 front, -.5 in the rear. Make sure to specify because alot of techs will just adjust toe on cars and let it ride.
The Rear Could Be A Quick Install Or Nightmare no in between haha it would be nice if the would send in a bolt for the rear camber since they break and no auto parts store sells it .
Hey Anthony I’m currently doing my suspension little by little like u do but quick question are thos control arms are the ones w regular bushing or the ones w the pívot ball w.e that ball bushing is called?lol hopefully u can get back at me quick
How would I possibly find this video helpful? You didn’t even show how to install them. Here’s a recommendation for adjusting them, take it to a professional who knows what they are doing, it’s your life as well as others on the road you should be worried about.
guy has an evo, but everyone wants to see more civic. Honda's where it's up!
I have to give the people what they want!
Because everyone loves seeing the little guy becoming a badass
We all want a Robin to become batman
"Nobody is ever gonna see these, but they MATCH"
LOL. I feel ya!
It’s the little things :)
The car has come a long way!! Looks really good!
Thanks man! It’s getting there
Keep it up! Love the videos

I like the unboxing too....... lets do a vote!
this honda is getting better and better ...keep it up anthony
Upload what ever you want man. I'm sure most of us are down to watch it. It's always a pleasure to see your beautiful....hands. lol
I love these unboxing videos. Even tho I already have all these truhart suspension pieces lol
Haha thanks for watching man!
Damn buddy them are really super nice and I can't wait to see you install those new parts on your car I love your car it's really nice
I just discovered your channel couple days ago, super in depth and great vids man
Unboxings are pretty cool. Love that Evo pimp.
Thanks bro
Definitely best bang for your buck. Been running these for a little over a year now and still running perfect. Just be sure to check your alen bolts every few thousand miles.
That’s awesome to hear!
5 years later. Still have them? I'm thinking about getting truhart camber kits
You don’t need to have the car up so high dude those parts would take no less then 30-45 min to install
Just bought some truhart street plus coilovers and dont regret it😊😁
Awesome man!
Ideally around -2 to -3 degrees up front and -1 to -2 in the rear. More camber in the front is better, but if you aren't experienced keep it simple and learn on it as is before making drastic changes
Thanks for the feedback!
Clean ride 🔥🔥
Thanks dude
No. Unboxing is fine. Just keep the videos coming bud.
Will do man!
Exhaust coming next 😯
N1 exhaust
No. Loud exhausts are fucking retarded for a daily. Even more retarded with 80whp.
My guess is either exhaust or rear sub frame brace
I’m actually thinking of getting the front and rear camber kit for my 2003 Honda Accord its a little pricey but it looks like is going last a long time. Thanks for the video
I personally like the unboxings
This car has come a long way in a short time. Looks great! Soon it will be too nice to be a daily driver. That poor Evo has to sit there seeing all these cool parts while getting no attention. LOL
Love the Hypergrams on the Evo. Love how lightweight they are on my GTI.
Time to binge watch!
Hell yeah thanks man!
Wait, your going to Touge the Civic? That would be badass!
Recommend you get new trailing arm and toe links for the rear. Also new bushings for the front lower control arms. Then alignment.
Sway bar mod would be a dramatic improvement 👌🏽
Good idea!!
Now that you are so committed to the content of this car you know you have to K swap it right?! 😂❤️
Mike Normand everyone goes k. He should go J or H. Maybe even F
@@ohitselii just do de good old B series
I agree. Any of those would be cool. Another good option would be just a very simple small turbo setup on the D16. 200-250 would be a lot of fun on the single cam.
Caster wear is only when turning toe wear is feathering across the tire and camber wear can be either inner or outer part of the tire
Yes! it's makes sense now why you didn't upload anything about the civic.
Vans shoes and baseball caps are a must if you own a Honda hahaha
100%
Im black so no. But I get it
TruHart is quality! As far as suspension you could ask LaTommyLa he has had an ek coupe on track with adjustable suspension.
Hey man thanks im glad I found the channel , just got a 2003 Civic LX and taking any suggestions as I'm fairly new to this hobby
Glad my videos can help!
All day Anthony, my wigga, what suspension set up do you have on your car? I want my ek hatch to draw as much 🐈 🐱 🐈⬛ as yours… would you recommend the parts in this video with your spring settings etc? Thank you kind sir
Add more content sooner !!! Great videos btw
Working on it! Lots of things to film with not a lot of extra time :(
Don’t worry hopefully you get enough views where this can be all you do!
exhaust otw?
100 Bees fart can
After two years using truhart kit how is your experience?

-5 in the rear is a bit excessive my guy
@@bigturbost666 reread that one
Negative point five
Subframe brace ? 👀
🤔
You remind me of Chrisfix
Have fun changing the bushings on your lower control arms in like 4 months
@Laserlite 3000 mine have been great to me
The Rear Could Be A Quick Install Or Nightmare no in between haha it would be nice if the would send in a bolt for the rear camber since they break and no auto parts store sells it .
Can you tell me how those worked out? Ride quality? How sre they holding up? Make a video👍
Hey Anthony I’m currently doing my suspension little by little like u do but quick question are thos control arms are the ones w regular bushing or the ones w the pívot ball w.e that ball bushing is called?lol hopefully u can get back at me quick
They are regular bushings
How much +\- camber adjustability does the rear kit capable of ?
Just curious but if you were to bring the vehicle up alittle on the coilovers would this relieve the rubbing?
It could, but now that I’ve already seen the car this low I can’t go back haha
Do i need camber kit if i change stock oem coilovers with tokiko / h&r ones
It’s not necessary but it’d be preferred if the car is going to be lowered of any kind.
nice rears lower control arms
I would like to know what camber setup you went with.
Where did you get the control arms from
Late but the chamber shouldn’t be much. Most racing application range from -1 to -3 degrees of camber but don’t quote me on that.
I'm guessing u started out on the ChrisFix videos🤔
Looking good Anthony! When are the engine mods coming though 😎😁
Well that was sad I wanted to see u put stuff in and it sits on the floor 😂
Haha soon!
Do uel headers for the ek man sounds so krazy
Haha I’ve heard them! They do sound good
If you don’t mind my asking, how much did all that cost? Working on my 03 civic
Master Shake I think he has a vid on it
Exhaust or subframe brace 🤔
🤔
You should got K-tune upper and lower car ect . But I understand you on a budget
I got -2 front and rear on function and form
1.2 to 1.8 front and 1.8 to 2.2 rear
Boise? Nice
Yeah fam
I dont mind the unboxing because i dont want to buy something i cant recognize first.
Add this too the wing i have on my honda

Hey, Anthony! Check out my vid Project: Civic to see the civic I’m currently in the process of building...
I’m having trouble finding the right coil overs for my 2000 Honda civic Gli can someone help me
I can understand budget building but I don't trust these cheap ass truhart suspension pieces as far as I could throw them.
Thought TruHart was a good brand?

I don't mind the talking makes the video less boring 🤷🏾♂️ but that's just my opinion
Too much talking and no action
