Just subscribed picked up a STI hatch will look thru your channel see what I can learn ! What was the specs for wheels and tires ? would they be different for an STi ? What was your suspension set up too ? Thanks man
@@hijodeangelitos Thanks mate I have videos on all of that. Wheels are 18x9.5+38 and ran 265/35 tyres for a long time with no issues. Coilovers by MCA suspension (the best to ever do it).
Not long now! Hey, I've actually got a question for you regarding my sound. I don't like the difference when I turn the camera around as it sounds masked due to the shotgun mic. Are there any 2-way shotgun mics like what I'm running now? Using the rode video mic pro currently.
@@00Lach that's a good question Lach. Let me look into it and see what I can find out for you One option that comes to my mind is using a wireless setup. You can have the receiver plugged into the cameras mic jack and the portable mic attached to your collar/shirt
@@Mike_Mandigo Thanks mate, I figured I might have to go down that route. Only thing that wouldn't be great with is when I'm trying to get sound from something further away than myself. In which case I would have to switch. 🤔
@@00Lach actually the Wireless setup would be pretty good for that aspect. The rode or dji Wireless mics are pretty popular, but I've also seen/heard people get good results with other brands off Amazon as well
The thing with Wireless mics is that sometimes you'll get interference from other signals in the air like Bluetooth and such, which can periodically cause noticeable hum or slight hiss at times that can be hard and a bit annoying to fix
Love your videos mate! I'm from Melbourne and started watching a few years ago when I got my 2012 sti. I've learnt a lot from your videos, and also did exatly what you have done like front lip, wheel spacers, led reflectors, mudflaps, aftermarket headlights... Keep up the great work and good luck with your new BRZ!
started watching 6 years ago when i first got my sti hatchback. I'm not that great at working on cars, and you taught my younger self a lot. I still have my subie, I could sell it for 30k and start a new life... but I'd rather not.
@@00Lach congratulations!! I literally picked up my brz the exact same day as you! I could smell burning plastic after driving it for around 20 minutes. Not sure if it’s a new car thing or it’s the clutch overheating( I’m a new manual driver).
NOOOO she'll be missed. Excited for you though.
What equipment do you use for recording btw? Camera, lens, mic?
I know right, so sad 😭 I actually have a video on my current setup, have a look through back through my channel for all the info 😎
its been a good journey. as you end yours, I'm on the hunt for mine!
Best of luck with your find mate!
