I live in a city in the heart of Missouri..I have it lucky in that I can escape and be in nature with a simple five minute car ride to the state park near my home. Loved your video and please keep sharing it!!
I've lived in cities, in the mountains and a small island on the west coast of Canada. I find the need for balance in it all. But that being said, your area is a dream for me as well as I lost my heart to the mountains so long ago. I've believed that there are places that just seem to make you... whole.

Hello from the middle of NJ! I really appreciate your videos and message. My grandmother had a ranch in upstate NY growing up, and we always spent a good chunk of the summer and school breaks camping or hiking in the Adirondacks. There really is something special about having a touch of nature in your life! I've trained in a variety of martial arts as well! With regard to the Filipino martial arts, I've trained in Inosanto Kali for roughly 24 years now, though the past few years it's been more off and on working solo just because of life. Your videos have really been an inspiration for me to get back into the "swing of things", so to speak, and it's been great virtually training with you and following your journey! Thank you and hope to connect with you via your comments section in the future!

I'm in the Wollumbin, or Mt Warning, Caldera, a rare piece of extinct volcanic terrain situated on east coastal hinterland, Australia. I was drawn to here when I got away from the family/suburban life at 22 years, and finally settled here when aged 38 years. I've not made a new family, though I wish, but instead connected to nature, my food garden and got to know unique wild species, which I love as though they are my family.
M.A is my main other interest, by necessity, now, to heal shock and trauma of fall injury. It maintains me, steady at the post.

Great video Paul. I love living in the mountains. I too grew up in the hustle of city life. I started studying martial arts when I was 8 years old. Paul, moving out to and living in harmony with nature was the best thing for me to do at this point in my life as well as an excellent and rewarding decision Paul. Your spread is looking real good. I live south of Houston TX and I have to find outdoor places in the subarbs to feel alive fish , hike etc. Hope your dream continues to grow!
