Manistee River Trail, June 2024

I got to spend the last week of June 2024 with Ruth Ann Berry of Quilters Clinic and her friends backpacking in northern Michigan. (Google-search Quilters Clinic -- Ruth Ann's quilt designs are amazing!)
These gals have been camping together for nearly 20 years, and I was really grateful to be invited to join them. Since I was new to the group I didn't want to intrude, so I tried to film quietly, making it about the experience of the forest and camping with them. The video is part of my process of learning to do video and there are lots of things I need to improve on (editing sound, for one thing), but as we say in the quilting world, sometimes finished is better than perfect!
