12:25 being often stuck on details is called Weak central coherence which is autistic trait. Also half an hour of avoiding eye contact with camera "looks autistic" - I mean it in a good way.

Love this video. The way you speak is cute and pleasant, and I relate to a LOT of what you said. People like us need to find other people like us who are also awkward and introverted and ironically you end up getting along quite well and sort of bonding over it. Because of our traits though and desire for isolation, it's hard to find these people...

When it comes to be lightly touched there are two autistic reactions I know. 1. you either hit the touching hand like it is a fly 2. or you really scratch that place of touch ... hope it helps

In my opinion according to what you say in the video you really seem to me to be an autistic person ..🧐

Thank you so much for saying that, i just had my last appointment today after 8 appointments within the last 11 months and they told me i am too empathetic and have too much social competence to be autistic. i’m really confused and it doesn’t make sense to me… i feel like i went to the wrong place because their criteria seem so outdated but i’m also doubting myself a lot…

@@Pakiyi It looks like stereotype of "autistic people do not have empathy" . It is not unusual to be overly empathetic while being autistic. Look up "Double empathy problem". I think that social competence can be learned but it will not be intuitive for autistic person. Also it seems they do not know about autistic masking especially in women. So maybe I would suggest to do your own research about autism and try to live as it is true and see what will happen. 👍

@@Pakiyi Also reading books from autistic authors helped me to be sure and not doubt myself. For example when I was reading The reason I jump book, I cried in every chapter and completely sobbed and cried in reading the last story. It was so relatable and I understood so deeply so I cried. I do not believe non-autistic person would cry.

@@tomasvoldrich yeah, there is actually a thing called “hyper-empathy” that’s common in autistic women and social competence well i don’t think i have much i actually had 3 years of social competence group therapy when i was 13… and yes i am definitely masking😵‍💫
Thank you so much for validating me and for your recommendation ♡!! I’m sorry you doubted yourself too at first and that the book made you cry so much but i’m glad it helped you and made you feel seen🙏🏻
