My family left County Meath in famine times too. I am proud to have descended from Trim Co Meath. And very proud my people came to America.

HIs paternal ancestry is fairly well-to-do middle-class English, the sort of family heavily involved in running the Empire. Research shows ancestors connected to the East India Company. His paternal grandmother's family ancestry is French. Even on the Irish side the family name Blewitt suggests Old English or Hiberno-Norman ancestry. So on both his English and Irish, to a greater extent, show Joe is anything but working-class. His grand-father was a democratic Congressman at the the turn of the last century! Biden has hall-marks of one who knows he's born to rule and the nobless oblige of your typical East Coast Democratic Elitist.
