- President Joe Biden and family arrive in County Louth. His large motorcade passed through many rural communities after his helicopters were cancelled due to weather. Eventually, he ended the day at the Windsor Bar in Dundalk, where he met locals and listened to music.
The President gave remarks on the Good Friday Agreement's 25th anniversary in Northern Ireland before heading to the Republic of Ireland, starting with County Louth.

A friend of mine who is a taxi driver had a run out to the airport on Wednesday evening. He said he knew the President's motorcade was on its way back from Dundalk long before he saw it because he could see all the flashing lights reflecting off the clouds.

I like it when the President takes the time to get out of his motorcade to greet the locals. It shows them that he is a down to earth person even though he's the most powerful person in the world.

The voltage in Ireland is 220, not 110 as it is in the USA.

I sat in my car on a bridge over the Grand Canal in Dublin tonight at around 7pm because i was halted to stop by the Gardai for this parade ( charade ) It started with Gardai on motorbikes with flashing blue lights and then eventually the big flashing blue lights of the American beasts sped by. After about 15 minutes of this convoy i was waved on. I was only going to Tesco! God Bless America! Slainte.

Quite the motorcade.....not exactly what I experienced going to town today.....guess the national and international implications of what I am working on is not that significant to warrant security measures 😅....interesting that the over 5lbs of documentation involves communication by certified mail to two presidents #45 and #46 and that is just the tip of the ICEBURG 🙂
