- Musician Niall Horan joins Condé Nast Traveler to share his personal guide to Ireland. Growing up in the small market town of Mullingar, Niall went on to find worldwide fame in One Direction-but no amount of jet setting around the globe can stop him from seeking out a proper pint of Guinness when he touches down on Irish soil. From slang and snacks to the best pitstops along the picturesque coastline, Niall Horan is here to teach us how to be Irish.
Niall Horan’s new album ‘The Show’ releases on 9th June.

as an irish person, i can confirm that Niall Horan is a bleedin legend.
A bleedin gobshite as well😂jkjkjkjk
Are you sure you are Irish? But your profile picture
@@onlywestern.official ok? just because i’m black doesn’t mean i’m not irish…
@@onlywestern.official lol I love how you think black people can't be Irish.
@@onlywestern.official Aw, did you just do a racism? WOW.
I feel like it's my duty as a Niall fan to go to Ireland someday
Already been
You should! I live in Dublin and its beautiful ❤
Do it! I had the best time and met some great people. One of my favorite trips.
@@devyanikhare9629worst city in the world
I live here you should definitely go even though it rained and there was lightning in the middle of summer but like get Taytos
i love how niall uses more slang in order to explain slang
sign of a true local
"Anything we can do to put someone down." 😂 Niall is so funny.
he's not wrong the irish language is rife with zingers
Jaffa cakes are honestly so addictive and I love how Niall keeps using the pointing stick thing 😂🇮🇪
jaffa cakes r british just fyi but we can all share bc they slap :)
As much as I love them too, I would’ve liked to see Kimberley’s in their place
@@BUZZKILL_JOY yhh ik it rlly does slap
Niall does well with a pointer stick 😂
He does Doesn't he
He's absolutely loving the pointer hahah
Like Niall taught us in this video, Niall is "bleeding education" and gave us a "lashing" of Irish history. He gave us socks (or was it, he put socks on us) when it comes to enlightening us about all things in Irish culture!
this video is just niall slapping every single thing with his pointer
who could resist being drunk with power of a pointing stick though?
I’m not Irish but I know most of this because of Niall
Whoever gave him the pointer... 😂
No clue
HAHAHAHAHH
Niall is a bleedin' legend
Niall always makes me want to travel to Ireland, and I'm going to someday
You should we love our green country
Trust me, visit wexford its gorgeous
im irish its great its asways rain! YAY
You definitely should, Belfast and Kinsale specifically are great. Definitely worth a visit
Same.
As an Irish person who has lived in Ireland all of their life, This is hilarious 🤣
I mean, he wants to boost the tourism somehow lol
This made me want to Ireland again...but only if Niall is the tourist guide
Without a doubt 👌💜
He’s adorable and so likable. I hope he always remains hilariously humble
As someone who's married to an Irish and been to Ireland, I can confirm that Taytos is the best crisps there is! Irish people are lovely and warm and smiley and very welcoming! Oh how I miss Ireland 😌
did you know, Tayto invented flavoured crisps/chips, before that is just salt in a separate bag
@@KnucksM8 Yes! Way more crunch and way more flavour. I hate how everyone goes on about Tayto so much. Hunky Dory's are amazing
Wtf is wrong with you, they’re so greasy!! 🙈🙈🙈
@@IndieRockerHippyĺ Cy mm
Shur one back to us crathur, you are welcome.❤❤❤
I love how happy he looks when he sees the slang. The face when he sees Gombeen 😆
I love Irish people. Naturally beautiful. And they have eyes like heaven ❤
I mean that's a big generalisation. Not all Irish people have eyes like heaven.
@@IndieRockerHippy I do!!! Lol 😂 👀 and I’m 110% Irish
Thank you. 💚🇮🇪
Niall is just so darn charismatic and cute! Love both his speaking and singing voice. Such a lovely guy.
Now we wait for a video about best pubs in Ireland
Did a study abroad in Ireland because of niall & can confirm i asked every irish person i met if they knew about niall and all of them had great things to say ab my him 😌😌 but also i love Ireland sm 12/10 recommend visiting
As a Canadian, I visited Ireland (Dublin, Wicklow, Kilkenny) in 2018 and had a fantastic experience. One of the bar men let us sample everything on tap bcuz we weren’t sure what we wanted. Then we met locals who said they’ve always wanted to visit Canada. Everyone was so welcoming in the countryside. SOOO MUCH SHEEP😊
Niall’s Irish fans already knowing all this:
I'm Irish but have never been there. Would love to go and kiss the blarney stone and have a potato chip sandwich!
@@kathycorcoran1589 that’s sounds fun. I hope you get to go.

@@kathycorcoran1589 I’m Irish too. I’m going to Ireland for the time this month.
😅😅😅😅
As an Irish person , Niall Horan is a bleedin legend
I love Niall especially everytime he saids something he smiled about and I just laugh like he did for Tayto
Geography with nialll slayy
The most beautiful thing in Ireland is actually Niall, it’s a fact
As an Irish person, I can confirm
Nial is such a National Treasure to Ireland and the US. Love the the two wolves jacket. The hungrier wolf thrives. He’s the epitome of COOL.
One day when i get the money to travel, Ireland will be my first destination
Irish king Niall thank you
Moving to Ireland next year, thanks you beautiful legend
The way I rewatched the moment (at least 5 times) of him dropping those cookies after saying he hasn’t had them in ages. I’m sorry, but I couldn’t stop laughing 🤣 that was comedic gold
As a Niall Horan fan, I definitely want Niall to teach me how to be Irish someday!
Actually criminal that he did not include Wicklow in his places to see. The sally gap drive is such a beautiful place, as is the bray head walk between bray and greystones, greystones itself is such a lovely town, plus powerscourt gardens and waterfall.
Unironically going to use some of this advice because I'm literally going to Ireland in little over a week
Hope you remembered never to refer to any thing St. Patrick as Patti!😊❤
In my opinion Donegal is up there when it comes to the Irish beautiful countryside.
Five second rule Niall!!
Such a waste of food that was :// the floor was soo clean
Ha, that's what I was thinking. If he wasn't being filmed I bet he would've eaten some!!
i love his sense of humor so much
I have been to Ireland once. It's so beautiful.
NIALL IS A GREAT TEACHER!!!!!!
I actually learnt a lot I’m telling you
I love how he has a pointer like if he was a teacher 😂
Makes me want to travel around this stunning country… I’m Irish… and I live here 😂
Whenever I see Niall, I'm happy. He's my sunshine :)
Niall: "Anything we can do to put someone down"
Me: "NOBODY CAN DRAG ME DOWN"
NOBODY NOBODY
NOBODY CAN DRAG ME DOWN
NOBODY NOBODY
Ireland is insanely beautiful!
I really want to go to Ireland on my birthday one year cause I was born on St Patrick's Day and I think it's something I must do.
Niall is the most Irish person I have never seen 😅 I didn't talk about he's music just about his country 👏🏾😍
i really reaaally love his voice
the 'oh' when he dropped the jaffa cakes was so irish help
You need to go see a match at Thurles, best atmosphere ever. Ideally, Cork playing Tipp. Nothing like it!
I love Ireland so much! And watch this with Niall warming my heart! Niall awesome guy! One of the best singer now but most importantly one of the greatest guy! I’m smiling after watching it! Thanks so much for this! 💚
We love you too!
Niall is gorgeous what the heck 💖🥺🇮🇪
niall dropping all the jaffa cakes on the floor is criminal
😂😂😂😂😂😂
to be fair, all the Jaffa cakes, when dropped, stayed in unison, just like One Direction would sing in key in unison. He has a gift of keeping different things together!
@@danielkim7841 HAHAHA
Beautiful Ireland coastline. Been to Howth meself and it was life changing…..swam in de Ireesh sea meself.
Hes so cute and i love hearing him talk🦋
I've always wanted to go to Ireland. And I know I wouldn't go in the pub and blab about my Irish heritage 😊but I can't help be proud of it. 😮I love Ireland and it's people's! Maybe I'll get there, but hearing and seeing Niall tell us about Ireland will have to be enough for now!
When I went to Ireland four years ago, I had tayto chips everyday! my suitcase was mostly tayto chips!
I’m so excited. I’ll be in Ireland in 2024 for a couple of weeks
He’s so natural and lovely. Modest too and the video is very accurate. Well done Niall.
Donegal at the top of Ireland is a beautiful place to go to also. Malin head is at the tip top. Star wars was filmed there. Beautiful walk track at bambas crown. Definitely worth a visit. And a visit to Farrens bar when you're there.
Traveling to Ireland in a few months for the first time! It's been on my bucket list for a very long time! Can't wait!
Top tip. Don’t spend your time in Dublin, head west because that’s where the real beauty is. Dublin is not a nice city.
@@thearticmonkey8692 Dublin is my favourite city on the planet, bit dirty though tbf, and there is a lot of junkies.
i have some Irish ancestry but i know i'm not like you an irish person...but i loved my irish husband who went to heaven
I love Ireland, beautiful country, positive people and they say they are lucky people too. Most breataking green and blue views. My favourite country of Europe ♥♥
Thank you Niall for teaching us some Irish I learned a lot. 😊❤
Honestly Murphy's is my preferred or Nigerian Guinness which is just smashing
Niall is having way too much fun with this stick 😊
Niall is every lad in the pub on a sunday afternoon. Very irish and we are feirce proud to have him
My favorite movie (PS: I Love You), my favorite land, my favorite people 🥹
Lol. The extendable pointer made this.
Teach us Niall.
by day, Niall Horan uses the extendable pointer to point out interesting and notable trivia to students on maps and on whiteboards. By night, Niall Horan uses the extendable pointer to engage in kinky, Fifty-Shades-of-Gray bondage and spanking type stuff, with his sexcapades fueled by the darkest, richest Guinness-induced drunken-ness. He totally seems like the person to do so!
Im Irish and im very proud 🇮🇪
This video is actually very accurate 🇮🇪
What charming fellow he is
Ireland was one of my best vacations
Niall is My fave Irish celebrity
why was him dropping the entire packet of jaffa cakes so depressing lmaoo
He didn't get to eat any😢
Love all of the food especially jaffa cakes also I live in Dublin and everything is so true in this video
Jaffa cakes aren't Irish. Mcvites are a Scottish company that got bought out by the Turks.
True facts there boy, fair play.
Hes everything i love him
I'm Italian, I live in Ireland and I will take notes of everything you said so I can go and visit all the places that I haven't been yet.
he is so handsome! and i miss ireland so badly! been there 2x and it is a wonderful country
My school went on an overninght school trip to lilliput in Mullingar. It was so much fun 😊❤
I think if u were looking for someone to represent the country around the world, Niall would tick every box.
Haven‘t seen Niall in a couple of years. So nice to see him and his sweet soul back! I just thought that I was missing some of his quirkyness and lively humour that he used to have. He just came along more introverted than a couple of years ago but that might just be due to maturing.
As an Irish this is insane ps Niall love the song Heaven
If you can only travel to one place, go to Ireland! You will not regret it!🇮🇪💚🍀🍺
In Aussie the Tayto sandwich is called a chip buddy and can be made both with chips and hot chips 3:05
A butty is the sandwich pary here
ngl I will come back to this video when I have money and can travel to Ireland. Hes a great tourism ambassador lol
I was gonna say the ferry isn't that expensive and then I remembered people live outside of europe whoopsie

always on my bucket list.... always been so in love with the beauty of Ireland and OMG... love the banter..... people in the US are too sensitive lol
Yesss Niall teach me the ways of our people
I feel proud that I basically did his recommended trip in reverse except I went Dublin to cork but the hit Tralee, Bantry, Killarney, Galway arran islands and a lot more in between before heading up north.
"the rag is having it and then losing it is just losing it" - such a comprehensive explanation Niall, ya gobshite!!
i love niall with the pointy stick thing
As an Irish person, I agree 100% 😂😂
How can you not love him?!
How cute he is!! Love those Furby eyes. 💙💙💙🤩🤩✨😍✨
I visited Ireland over 20 years ago. I loved Shannon the best and I would live there if I could.
Shannon??? There's nothing there bar the airport. You need to get out more😂
@@dangermouse6687 Shannon was beautiful and peaceful. While Killarney and Dublin were lovely, they were both too crowded for my taste.
@@Ripplesinthewaters I hope you're talking about the river, because there's absolutely nothing beautiful about the town of Shannon.
@@dangermouse6687 Like I said, I visited in 2002. It was beautiful then.
Im officially off to derry in August and this video seems to fall onto my suggested list.
Please tell not just Derry? 😂
Lyon’s Tea bags all day!!
The fact that he mentioned my favorite movie of all time
The smell of your perfume still stuck in the air,,,,it is hard haha love your songs , CHEERS 💚
Been to Ireland, great country. Had a Guiness, had Tayto crisps. Great.
