The goblins obeyed Enri because she's the one who summoned them with the horn Ainz gave her. As time goes on and she grows as a leader her status rises.
@@bryannkam Kinda. She not only used the horn to summon/create them but over time developed a genuine rapport as their leader. These factors grant her certain abilities pertaining to them. The Overlord web novel goes into more detail.
im sure you guys know by now, but incase no one told you, when Enri dented the knife she was thinking about the raiders that killed her family. also alot of the credits art is done by So-Bin, the original LN artist. thought it needed a good mention since i love the work that they do
Britta is the tanned redhead adventurer with defined back muscles from season 1. The one Ains gave an red potion to without realising that this world has blue potions.
Ainz is a pretty sharp guy, but in the end he is just a regular dude, the NPCs are so dang smart they hyper analyze his every move, and even if it makes no sense they're just like " we can't even begin to fanthom his great wisdom " their faith in Ainz is so absolute he could mess up bad and they still assume it's all part of a master plan
Well there are theories out there stating that because of ainz' insanely high intelligence stat he is unconciously making right and wise decisions. After reading the novels i also think of it that way, that he is unconciously insanely wise and intelligence because of the stats and that his alter ego (his real self) just dont get it for now but still acts according to the circumstance.
Well, he will live in that world for eternities if not killed, so i hope for a big timeskip in the end of the novels showing his growth into the character. The ovelord of the world.
Hello friends, thanks for reacting to this chapter. Unfortunately, I have to say that this episode is one of those that were poorly animated, because for some reason they decided to messed up the context a bit. So, I'll try to explain it with information from the novel. First, we see Ainz's scene, which is basically the continuation of the first scene of the previous chapter and one of the funniest because yes, only in the third season, which would become Volume 8 of the novel, is that our Overlord finds out that NPCs want to conquer the world. Which makes him one of the worst rulers in all of this history. The most ridiculous and irresponsible thing is that, although Ainz is scared at first by the plan to take over the world, he quickly comes to the conclusion that, be it fame or infamy, he is still fulfilling his goal of making Ainz's name known. Own Goal for your friends to find if they reached the new world. And finally, he tells himself that if his friends call him out for causing Nazarick to embark on a global conquest, he will simply bow his head and apologize to them for failing to rule well. ¡Super irresponsible! Now, if you pay attention there is a brief comment from Demiurge that mentions that "The Kingdom has nothing worthwhile or attractive" and then adds "Except for a single individual" ¿Who do you think it could be? Then the whole Scene occurs in Villa Carne and in this part, there is a lot of important information that is too summarized or directly omitted and that is the background story of the Giant of the East and the Serpent of the West. These two monsters were among the most powerful creatures and they lead entire factions of monsters. Normally they would have gone to war with each other to be the only force in the Forest of Tob, but there was a third force, The Beast of the South (Hamsuke), that was just as powerful as them. So both the giant and the snake were afraid of fight, be weakened, and then be eaten by the Beast of the South. A viable option would be for the Giant and the Serpent to ally against the Beast of the South, which is highly unlikely since they hated each other, but Hamsuke rarely left his own territory. So, there was really no chance that she would ally with any of them or that they would have to risk fighting her. This tie between the three forces was maintained until Ainz took Hamsuke away, so now both beasts started fighting for the dominance of the forest and basically between the two of them they enslaved all the lesser monsters to increase the power of their own faction. And they were about to fight... when something happened. Something so terrifying that it made these two sworn enemies decide to unite. Now that these two monsters are desperately increasing their powers, recruiting minions, resources… and food. So, there is a possibility that a horde of powerful beasts will attack Carne Village in the future in search of food. Well, that's all for now. I hope the information I have given is of some use and adds context to the whole thing. See you two in the next chapter!

So in other words, it’s like the command spells from Fate.

Gotta love how one of Demiurge's patented Sasugasms lead to Nazarick aiming for world domination.
