Ains was genuinely happy. He loves it when people recognize how great his guildmates were.
Not only that, remember the part that wasn't shown in the reaction? Ainz gives the order that there's another person that's given protection after he comes back from giving Nemu a tour. Essentially saying that she is now as valuable as Enri and Nphirea, just because of her enthusiasm of the guild base.
In that moment,Nemu became the most protected child in the whole world, she is now set for life.
The fastest way to Ainz's non-existent heart is to compliment his friends and their hard work.
Hell, that could even save your life if it ever came down to it.
Fastest way to the Happy Farm (or a tour of Nazarick's other accommodations), is to *insult* his friends.
This is true, but only if you genuinely mean the compliments. If you're lying and just trying to save your skin, it will enrage him more so than if you said nothing at all.
I love how Nemu is now on a short list of protected humans for no skill or value of her own but the fact that an innocent child honestly was impressed with Nazarick.
Find yourself a girl who looks at you like Enri looks at Nephi.

Hello friends.
As always, I will complement some things that happened in this chapter with information from the light novel.
I think it's evident that the attacker of the Meat Village is the Giant from the East, who was revived by Ainz. The Overlord sends this army to attack to prove that the defenses of the town are effective, but above all to confirm that Lupusregina can correctly follow her orders and protect Enri and Nferea. And he also wants someone from there to seize the magic sword of the deceased Troll, to reinforce the security of that village. In the end one of the Goblins gets it.
Yuri Alpha, who is one of the few Battle Maids not busy at the moment, is in charge of escorting Enri, Nfirea, and their sister Nemu to Nazarick. The alchemist is very surprised when he sees Yuri use an object that allows instant teleportation of many people, something that the young Enfirea did not believe could exist.
The artifact in question resembles a cabinet that, once opened, reveals a magical portal. Which could be a reference to the movie "Chronicles of Narnia". Nfirea tries to figure out, but I can't even imagine how this item works, which seems to surpass the normal (5 Magic Level) teleportation spell in terms of distance and capacity. And in the novel, when they finally go through the portal, they can see for a second the servants of the last of the Pleiades, Aureole Omega, who controls transportation in Nazarick.
In Nazarick, Nemu's childish and sincere joy at seeing Nazarick makes Ainz touched and decides to add this girl to the list of people who must be protected by lupus regina at any cost.
To finish I want to mention an animation problem. It's not uncommon for an Anime to make changes to the content of the novels in an attempt to simplify things for the viewer and compress as much content as possible, but in this case, I think they made a mistake.
You see, Light Novels often present events out of order to hide some pieces of information to retain the suspense, but Anime presents everything chronologically. This is not a problem for the first and second season, but in the third it was a fatal mistake, because this season starts with Book 8, but the events that happen here They occur after Book 4 (the lizardmen arc) and before Book 5 (The Sebastian and Climb in the Kingdom arc), which means that it is a prequel: While Sebastian, Brain and Climb are attacking the Brothel in the second season, Nferea and Enri are in the Forest dealing with their problems.
Long story short, the Anime chose to depict book 5 and 6 first, then went straight to book 8, instead of going to book 7 like it should have. Perhaps in this way they thought that the chronology would be better understood, but what was achieved is that a lot of the mystery, suspense, and comedy is gone. And the proof of this is that we saw twice the scene where Ainz finally finds out that the NPCs want to conquer the world. That was originally meant to be the opening to book 7, but ended up being performed twice to serve as the opening to book 8. And besides, this makes Lupusregina look pretty dumb, because in that first scene Demiurge claims Villa Carne is important to Ainz's plan. ¿Why did she forget thah? The answer is that this whole scene actually takes place after the undead Troll's attack on the village.
So: How does everything happen in the novel? The story begins with Enri's part and we are not told exactly what Ainz is doing at all and, more importantly, why. The answers come in the second part of the book and in this way the suspense is always maintained, making the viewer not know exactly what is happening and keep asking questions: ¿Why doesn't Ainz do anything when Villa Carne is attacked? ¿Where is he? ¿What's going on? ¿Who is Lupusregina and why is it not helping them? ¿Why does she say that she would like to see “everyone in the village die”? ¿Perhaps she has betrayed Ainz? ¿Or maybe Ainz gave him other orders? ¿Maybe there is some major plot going on? ¿Maybe Demiurge will make another big plot like in the Kingdom?
This is largely because the reader initially assumes that everything takes place after book 7 and doesn't yet know it's a prequel.
The second part of the book begins with the "Day off" in Nazarick, with the plot of the maids, the guardian women, we follow Mare a bit and find out about Demiurge's Happy Farm, etc. There the mystery of what Ainz was doing all this time and what happens with Nazarick is revealed to us.
It is then that we realize that the events here occur while Sebastian is doing his mission in the Kingdom. Then we follow Ainz in his Momon costume and we understand that what is narrated happens simultaneously with Enri and the attack on her village. And then it all starts to make sense.
And the best plot twist is that Ainz wasn't up to something, there wasn't a big conspiracy, betrayals within Nazarick or secret moves... ¡All along Ainz had been just fooling around! Ainz had no idea that Villa Carne was going through a crisis. It wasn't that Nazarick was too busy to help them. Later, when Ainz confronts Lupusregina, we learn that she doesn't even quite understand her mission or the importance of her events. ¡It's incredibly funny!
But it gets better. Only then is it revealed to us that Ainz is the one behind the attack on Villa Carne all along and not some mysterious third party. Only then is it put into context that neither Lupusregina nor Ainz himself are very concerned about the well-being of Villa Carne itself or about Enri Emmot, but only about Nfirea; this is so to the point where, while he is looking to collect new monsters, it occurs to the Overlord to organize a false attack on Villa Carne.
I don't think any Overlord book reveals my previous comment better, when I told you that the main plot is not really that of a Drama or an Isekai, but is pure black comedy in the style of the Adams Family.
The last scene is the bath with the guardians and the surprise golem that attacks the women. At that time Albedo just got released from her prison for trying to rape Ainz, so it's all pretty embarrassing. And then it becomes clear to us that, despite his power and appearance, almost nothing that happens in this story does or will happen according to Ainz's wish. When we know his true thoughts and desires, thanks to his inner voice, we can't help but laugh at how little control the supposed "Supreme Being" of Nazarick really has.
Sorry for the long comment, but I wanted to clarify how good the original work is, because it really was lost quite a bit. In my opinion this Arc should have been one of the best Overlord stories, but I think the Anime didn't do it justice due to the decisions they made. But I can't criticize too much either, although I would like the Japanese to stop always limiting themselves to 12 or 13 episodes per season. ¡I hope the comment has entertained you two!

Fun fact: After Enri and Nyphirea got married, Nyphirea asked for Ainz for a lot of stamina potions to keep up with Enri since she's too much energetic and wanted to do it all the time...if you know what i mean...😏😏😏😏

This episode doesn't do trolls justice. But I'll clarify, remember the abomination caused by magical overload in Eminence of Shadow Episode 4. Yeah, basically that. You cut off limbs, and it grows back in less than a minute. Chop off bits and it grows back in seconds. Scary stuff. Only a fully prepared Platinum Team or higher has a chance to kill a single one of those with tons of Acid and Fire spells. So Lupus off-screening a Troll in seconds shows she is a being beyond the realm of Heroes at the very least. Which Goblins understood immediately and very carefully stepped aside.
The Goblins already knew she was someone you didn't want to mess with. But that single Troll made them realize just how much they underestimated her. Really shows how fast intelligent non-humans can pick up just how strong the people of Nazarick are, even without seeing them fight.
No Ains was genuinely happy. Easiest way to get into Ains' good books is to praise his friends and their work. He's very sentimental in relation to his old guildmates.
