The reason why Ainz uses True Death spell to kill Gazef is because its an instakill spell that prevents regular Resurrection spell (which Blue Rose have access to) from working, and the target can only be revived by the True Resurrection spell, which is several tiers higher than normal Resurrection. Gaz3f said he doesnt want to be revived, so Ainz showed respect for his wish this way.
The fact that aniz doesn't fully know what he's doing is weirdly a strength.
People overestimate his plans and have immense trouble guessing his next move.

~11:35 They used Pandora's Actor to give the image, that Ainz and Momon are two different persons. Essentially, in this shot Ainz is actually himself, while Pandora's Actor represents Momon the adventurer. While i would have personally thought it to be the other way around (PA doubling Ainz, and Ainz playing Momon, since we all know how weird PA can speak sometimes, and Ainz doesn´t talk to Momon in this shot at all), i was quite surprised when i learned that PA actually doubled Momon. I guess PA's way of speaking is, to some extent, more similar to how Momon is displayed, rather than Ainz.
one reason Ains ddnt speak to Momon is because they both sound the same. thats why in season 4, Ains has been using that Lip Bug to change his tone of voice.
There's a hint that Ainz is the real Ainz in that scene: Albedo's reaction when he touches her shoulder. She really wouldn't react that way if Pandora's Actor touched her. :P
Im pretty sure fake Ainz doesnt have red eyes.
@Nazemec There was also the comment and reaction to "Momon" saying "no one will marry you", it was something Ainz would never say, and was more like the kind of thing Pandora's Actor would (the guy who calls women "beautiful flowers" in that cringy "m'lady" kinda way) and it put Albedo off her script so much she had to cough and reassert herself.

He does. You will see this in a scene in Season 4 Episode 11, where Pandora's Actor fights against the PDL/Riku while using the appearance of Ainz. He clearly has Ainz's red eyes (which makes complete sense, as Doppelgangers perfectly imitate the person in question, since they not only change their appearance visually, but also use a form of telepathy to read the surface thoughts of the people around them, basically adapting their appearance to what the other people around them would expect them to appear as). We also know, that since PA is Ainz' creation, he knows very well how to replicate it.
TL;DR: we have visual confirmation of PA being able to absolutely perfectly replicate Ainz' appearance, including the red eyes.

AInz is an Overlord. There are several types of Overlord :
1. Overlord Chronomaster - related to time magic, such as stopping, acclerating, reversing etc.
2. Overlord General - they control various undead begins.
3. Overlord Wiseman - they are super proficient in magic.
Ainz wasn't stated to be one of them, but It is widely guessed he is an Overlord Wiseman and the Eclipse class gives him the extra skill Dark Wisdom. Now everything further is my own speculation, but I think Dark Wisdom gives the ability to copy the spells (or a spell) of someone you killed. My logic is: why would Ainz, a role-player, be so active in PVP? he doesn't gain anything from it, he was just enjoying role-playing as a Death Incarnate. Ainz has 732 spells, but the max amount for a lvl 100 player is 300. Ainz has more than double the amount. And lastly, Ainz is the only character we see with a stat breaking through the max amount. He has so much more mana that your average lvl 100 mage player, that he can just spam spells and be ok with it.
So I think Dark Wisdom increases the max mana for some set amount for each skill in your possession, as well as let you copy (or steal) a spell (or spells) whoever you killed.
He is also one of the few magic casters, who mastered the timing of spells. He can use a magic in a timestop with a delay, such as he used in the video, to time it so the spell would activate right when the timestop released. This made him extra strong in PVP. But the funny thing is: almost every decent lvl 100 player had some countermeasures against timestop, be it an item, a buff or even a specific achievement.
Nice theory makes sense.
I have heard that some of his rings might increase mana and spell cap
Dark wisdom was said to increase the amount of spells you can learn through a dark ritual - whether or not that included killing player characters is speculation, but it is quite cool. The Eclipse class also gives him his "ultimate" special skill which is "the goal of all life is death" which buffs his instant death magic. Just like time stop was common in pvp and most players defended against it, so did most high level creatures and players have a defence against instant death. Ainz's ability removes any defence against instant death, which means he could kill anyone with even a tier 5 grasp heart spell, or he could use AOE instant death. This means that his super tier magic such as Ia shub niggurath he used in this episode were incredibly OP in the game. I mean, Ainz could one shot a whole lvl 100 guild as long as he was able cast his skill which took a long time to get working.
based on the lightnovel he does pvp purely to fund the guild for a time he was the only one online maintaining it this shows his dedication and obsession with the guild and his friends as well as serves to explain why he is so good at pvp
it also alludes to his priorities he was willing to rob and hunt other players to maintain a keepsake of good times
so his mentality of only caring about his friends is nothing new
Jircniv might be one of my favorite characters in this whole anime. He is introduced with such a calm and composed demeanor and we see him slowly break away over time into nothing in the face of overwhelming strength lol. I love that hes mentally battling Ainz to try and figure him out but cant because Ainz doesnt have a plan...hes just simply going with it🤣😂
I find Jircniv to be one of the most relatable characters in this series for the reasons you laid out.

Lvl 40 for a human in this world is near impossible unless you have convenient ways to extend your lifespan like Rigrit and Fluder did. The adventurer's guild had rated Evileye, Entoma and the rest of battle maids as lvl 150 but Entoma is lvl 51 in Yggdrasil. We can assume its approximately 3:1 in New World vs Yggdrasil. By this ratio, Copper is lvl 1-3, Bronze is lvl 4-7, Silver is lvl 7-10, Gold is lvl 10-13, Platinum is lvl 14-17, Mithril is lvl 17-20, Orichalcum is lvl 20-24, Adamantite is 24-33 and Realm of Heroes is lvl 33+. A single Death Knight is lvl 35. Basically Ainz just ordered a platoon of Realm of Heroes just to serve orange juice.
Minor adjustment, Death-knights are actually ATLEAST 40.
i say atleast as i can't remember precisely if it was 40 or 45.

Gazef was incapable of breaking through into the realm of heroes without the ring, and he is about level 29 before his death, so realm of heroes is most likely at level 30. That would make your estimation for the Adamantite adventurers level range quite generous.
I'm not completely sure though.
@@FerunaLutelou I did double checked the wiki and it stated lvl threats 71 and above is not permitted by the guild to be taken by orichalcum and reserved for adamantite. Doing Lvl threat 100 is considered beyond human which legendary heroes belong.
@@qebron Had to double checked. Still lvl 35. Offense is as weak as lvl 25 but defense is as tough as lvl 40.

Well if that's the case i shall withdraw my earlier statement.
Might be time for another re-read soon, my facts are getting muddy :S
Two things to add before season 4, since there was some confusion in the subs when they aired:
1. The city just won by Ainz is E-Rantel, a fortress city on the edge of the Re-Estize Kingdom. The capitol of the Re-Estize Kingdom is named Re-Estize (like the capitol of Mexico is Mexico City). The capitol is further away than E-Rantel - you have to go through a few noble's territories to get to it.
2. There are two "religious" oriented countries is this world. The first is the Slane Theocracy - the one's who tried to kill Gazef in the beginning of season 1. They are quite strong, but are also human supremacists (basically racist toward non-humans). The other country is the Roble Holy Kingdom. We haven't seen anything with them yet. There will be a movie that deals with Nazerick's influence there than happens concurrently with parts of season 4. Some subs in season 4 that refer to both as "Holy Kingdom", but they are not the same.

Pandora's Actor. Remember how at his first appearance he took on the appearance of Albedo's creator? He's a doppelganger, he can take the appearance of anyone or anything, but not their voice.
Notice how "Ains" doesn't speak?
Pitting Momon against "Ains" makes any rebellion gather under Momon instead of seeking outside help, since he's the only one who appears even remotely strong enough to stand against Ains. They have no clue it's him. So, he can keep the rebellion under control from within and quietly dispatch any of them who get too uppity with Nazarick forces.
Did ya'll not pick up in Pandora's Actor being a shape-shifter? He is often playing as Ainz when in meetings.
Somehow we completely missed this throughout the show, except during Sebas' arc.
Guys I know you have seen all of Overlord by now, just hope you got the hints when Pandora’s Actor was playing Ainz himself, the first time was during Sebas’s questioning, the second was during the invasion by the workers as Ainz went into Nazarick and left Pandora’s Actor with Narberal in the tent, and this episode was the third time.
This is something we kept missing. The only time it crossed our mind was during Sebas' arc. It would've helped a lot to have at least one scene where we actually see Pandora's Actor transform into or from Ains.
@@BrothersYeo 😂 I see, well the only hints were for example during the Sebas’s questioning he wasn’t using his Red Orb and the way he teleported out was a big way they showed it wasn’t him 😂. On the invasion he said he would send Pandora’s Actor guess you guys didn’t understand why 😂. Well the last one was a given he gave Pandora’s Actor the role of Momon only thanks to Demiurge’s idea of he making the hero for the future benefits which I’m sure you’ve seen as on the last vid you guys mentioned you had seen all of Overlord. Thanks for the reply not many TH-cam’rs reply to me 😂. I’ll be waiting for the next season and hopefully they get that movie done soon it’s supposed to show you what happened between the skip.
dont know if it has been mentioned before but brain uses fourfold slash of light to gazefs sixfold. the biggest difference is as far as i remember is that gazefs were semi random in direction but thanks to brains special field spell he could direct the four slahes in perfect direction he desires. making them stack on in each other wich we see in his nail clipper attack.
Ainz using his signature combination (Time Stop into Delayed True Death, with a fraction of a second in between the end of Time Stop and the effect of True Death taking place allowing for no chance to respond) against Gazef is a display of absolute respect.
Ainz could have killed Gazef in well over a hundred ways. Hell Flame, Black Hole, Dragon Lightning, Grasp Heart, all would have equally killed Gazef, and I'm sure he has a followup spell that can prevent resurrection magic.
But by going all-out from the very beginning, by not even taking the most remote chance or risk, he is displaying an ENORMOUS amount of respect for Gazef by choosing to fight him with nothing held back. He gave Gazef the only respect he could; the honor of facing Ainz Ooal Gown at his absolute best. Only Shalltear has been shown similar respect, and that was out of utter necessity because her build very effectively counters his own.
Climb, Renner, Raven and Gazef is hypothesized to be the people on the do not kill list. Ainz added the 4th one as a after thought, which may be Gazef. Ainz already had the short list of the VIPs and someone provided him with that list. it may have been demiurge who got that list for Ainz because of Demi's dealings behind the scenes.

It's been quite a while since someone far beyond the realm of heroes stirred shit up in the new world, and humans were mostly safely isolated from terror of the other races (which have significantly higher levels on average) thanks to the Slane Theocracy, so nobody expected Ainz to be THIS powerful. Ainz and his tomb are probably even more powerful than the 8 Greed kings from hundreds of years ago.

not realy i think, pandora's actor afaik has the capability to use any world class item because of his ability to turn into that person. The most certain way to guess it is by looking to albedo's reaction & manner toward ainz, "if she's the way she is with Ainz, that's definitely Ainz. If she acted a little bit disgusted or doesn't honour Ainz like a supreme being, that's definitely pandora's actor."
