    Hey you are awesome! Thanks for your great videos. So , I wouldn't mettion this if there wasn't a Santur player on the scene. The Fifth mode of Harmonic minor is called Hijaz scale, I am Greek and we use it all the time, the I chord is a major triad, the II also major triad and usually resolves II - I. Also VII is a minor triad, and as the relative of the second you will find I-II-VII-I or VII - I or II - VII - I. Also the I can be a SuSb9 chord and the second can be a II6. I hope I was clear. Also in 9:29 the Santur player changes his mode and from Hijaz (G) goes to Ousak (Cm), I would call it Phrygian because it is the same scale with same notes, but the difference for me is that in Phrygian the I chord is susb9 and it is a self resolve, in Ousak we have "I" as a minor triad, II major triad, III major triad, and a usual progression is III - II - I, and also (when soloing and in melodies) moving chromatically from the III to I. Some insight from me, a guy that has mixed up classical, east and jazz theory and tries to survive between them. LOL Hope I helped.

      Great Question man, for this video I used a Wurlitzer 140B keyboard sound, I slightly turned up the auto-pan to give it depth, decreased the speed of the pan effects, but left the rest of the settings unchanged (in Keyscape, in Logic)

    I noticed people have a habit of using something that is popular and try to change it. Most of the time for the worse. It shows little creativity and just following the crowd for popularity while most of the time destroying the song you wanted to change. The best thing is to create a song that is original and that others want to play. Why not try creating your own original and use other words like "Lovely" or "Want Me". The singer and instrumentalists are very good in their own right but a BIG thumbs down for hacking a great song...

    I thought your channel was Gospel. That's the problem with all of you. What you are showing now is not consistent with Gospel. Why not stick to Gospel music. My values are not consistent with watching this kind of music with scantily dressed woman.

    • @levarhiggs3174
      @levarhiggs3174 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      "your values are not consistent with what is presented"?? ok, so go somewhere else with the negativity. We are all here for the exceptional musicianship and thoughtful listening experience. Yet all you can focus on and comment on is how the singer's bare shoulders are making YOU feel inside;
      Why do you find it necessary to criticize a musicians roundtable for not sharing in your own perverted thoughts and guilt-filled self loathing? If you think this somehow puts you into a closer walk with God, you are sorely mistaken, but thats ok. Do you, just not here.
      Perhaps start your own channel and make angry reaction videos to naked shoulder videos there. This isn't that forum (now back to the music.....)

    • @aminasalihu2312
      @aminasalihu2312 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@levarhiggs3174 I'm sure you are from a country where values and beliefs means nothing. God don't need the devil to promote his work. You don't need a scantily dressed lady or perverted song to play Gospel music.
