    Great video. Here are some ideas for a follow-up.
    What hasn't been covered in this video is:
    - Status rules
    - Notifications/alerts that go to owners when they fall behind their goals.

    Thank you very much for uploading this video, it really will help me a lot to continue enriching the use of power bi as a tool to set up balanced dashboards of indicators (BSC) that are dynamic and in real time, in the same way to follow up on the objectives of work teams😀

    Can you create a dynamic based on a filtered measure? Ex. : In a report you'd have a kpi with total sales, but you want your target to be total sales of France, but you dont want to create an individual kpi just for that.

      Hi Jonathan! Yes, you can absolutely use filtered values from visuals for your goals. When creating a connected goal, you will need to select a filtered visual for e.g. France. This can be accomplished by either selecting a specific value in your slicer for Region (and only after applying the filter, selecting the visual you wish to use as your Goal), or by selecting your Revenue value from any other visual where values are categorised by regions.
      Please note that when using KPI and Gauge visuals for your goals, the only value that will be pulled is the actual value (min, max, goal values are not currently supported by Goals).

    Hi, thanks for sharing I think this is a very cool feature. Does this available at Pro license users?

    • @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580
      @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do need a Pro licence to author and share scorecards and goals, and perform check-ins. To view them you either need a Pro licence or be in a Premium capacity

    Can you give some suggestions as to what kind of reports we can make from our scarecard dataset ?

      That depends on what you would be interested to see! Some ideas that come to mind:
      - you could track how well certain team members are doing in progressing to reach the goals that are assigned to them e.g. I could own 5 goals and be on track on all 5 meanwhile another team member could have 15 goals assigned and be behind on more than a half of them;
      - track goals themselves e.g. number of goals on track, behind etc;
      - progress over time would be a great thing to show to uncover any possible trends and correlation between metrics;
      - highlighting any goals that are close to their due dates;
      Again, there is probably a million other possibilities, and I would recommend starting with asking yourself and your team members "what do we want to know?".

    Can you include historical data points of the 'current' value?

    • @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580
      @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Markus, all historical data for your goal will be included automatically if you connect your current value to a value in a report (which of course must have a history of data points). You can also create a manual goal and create a new "check in" for a date in the past.

    Hi Natasza, I created a scorecard with some goals, and I would like to visualise in dashboards as you did. But somehow I see no Values? I can link only the scorecard I see the data model, I see the structure on the right but no values?

      Hi Daniel, have you managed to find out what was causing your issue? It's possible that you need to track some values before you can see any data if you are using manual scorecards

    how to read a Target value from a Goal set in the Card visual?

    • @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580
      @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As a Card visual can only hold one value at once, you could set its value as either Current or Target in your Goal. You can combine both connected values and manually typed values in one goal, so if you decided to use the value of your Card as Current, you could manually set the Target value, or alternatively crate a separate Card for target as well. I hope that answered your question, but please let me know if I can expand on anything :)

    If I'm using connected data that is already tied to a dataset that refreshes daily, do I have to set anything up for the data to refresh in the scorecard? Do I have to set a daily refresh up in this new dataset or in the settings on the goals page?

    • @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580
      @nataszakosakowskaintelogy5580 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Goal values are updated as often as the dataset is refreshed, so you only need to set-up refreshes for the dataset itself (similarly to reports in Power BI Service)
