From the blog: replace(replace(replace(body('Get_response_details')?['rc7b55b06fea64796bae88a58d9425388'],'","','|'), '["',''), '"]','')
It's really nice, thanks for sharing. Nevertheless, I found another simpler way: th-cam.com/video/Lhv0FDpI7rg/w-d-xo.html
Apply to each was not auto populated with this template, now I am on the "Apply to each" step and there is no 2 just "Apply to each". When I plug in the expression within Append to array variable the expression is showing as invalid. Any tips?
Thank you! I tried several and this is the only one that worked for me! To help others, here is what I did since I had several multiple questions. After Initialize variable, created another "Initialize Variable" for my second question. After "apply to each" for my first question, I created another "Compose with the replace formula" for my second question and then another "compose with the split formula" and then followed that with the "apply to each" for the second question. Don't forget to refill the "create item" with the correct variable.
I need help, I have several multiple questions, I have four quetions with multiple selections and I can´t get the result I am looking for it
I do not understand the low view count of this video. I searched many similar videos and this one is the only one, so far, that I could understand and followed the instruction successfully. Thank you!
Hi, I added this to my flow and was able to import 2 multi-select options to my ms list and it works great - but now i want to export list items to pdf. It is not showing up for the multi-select options. Do you know what i need to do in my new flow to show multi-selected options from my ms list?
I might be doing something terribly wrong, because this seem to be working for everyone else, but when you get to inserting the values into Sharpoint columns, I am not getting the icon to switch to input entire array. Any idea what might be happening for me?
Hello , How can I get ms form exam total point to SharePoint list or excel in library
This was incredibly useful, thank you. I get why the second apply to each is need (to loop through the multiple choices) but why is the outer one needed? Given it's working on a single form submission?
I am not getting the option to have the first command- "List of Responses" in the Apply to Each-- is anyone else getting this?
clear steps, easy to follow and worked just great!! thanks!!
Hi, this is a really easy to follow guide, thank you. I'm stuck though because I don't see the Value Added Value -1 box in the create item action. I followed the guide exactly to the letter and I'm just not seeing that box so I can't complete the final step :( Can you offer some advice please? Thank you!
I figured out what I was doing wrong. I needed to make my Sharepoint column a choice column and select 'Allow Multiple Selections' in the column options. It works now! :)
Nice just what I needed with multi input fields :-)
Glad it helped!
Thank you for such an easy to follow video that worked perfectly. Have looked at multiple solutions for this function elsewhere and nothing worked. This was excellent!
You're welcome!
Excelente explanation!!!, I follow your steps and works. But i have 2 more columns with multiple choice answers i added the steps, but all the arrays appears in the same column, what am i doing wront? How can i separate the other columns answers Thanks!!!
@carlosm5591 Did you figure out this one? I have the same issue!
@@Pkedvardsen Hi Yes I did, just add as many variables as choice questions you have in my case i added 2, add them after the first one. Then take a look at minut 6:42 you'll have to write down the id of each question you want to add it. Look the steps in 7:40 and repeat for each variable. Hope i was clear for me worked without problem
it's very useful information , thanks !!
I used these instructions and it worked perfectly. Thank you for such a thorough video with text I could copy from the blog. I was able to split three multi-select responses into my sharepoint list!
How? It's not allowing me to use two consecutive "for each" loops.
Same here for two of mine.
Great to hear!
I have multiple choice answers and How do I split into different row in SharePoint?
I solved, create 2 more variables one for each column . Then in the apply to each you have to create 2 more format output and 2 more split previous output into array, one for each column. And that's it follow the video and change the content of the format and split according to the values you created.
Great video. Here are some ideas for a follow-up. What hasn't been covered in this video is: - Status rules - Notifications/alerts that go to owners when they fall behind their goals.
Hi Natasza, I created a scorecard with some goals, and I would like to visualise in dashboards as you did. But somehow I see no Values? I can link only the scorecard I see the data model, I see the structure on the right but no values?
Hi Daniel, have you managed to find out what was causing your issue? It's possible that you need to track some values before you can see any data if you are using manual scorecards
🤥 no digital data is 100% secure! 🤐 currently; no digital data is even 50% secure!👁👁
Thank you very much for uploading this video, it really will help me a lot to continue enriching the use of power bi as a tool to set up balanced dashboards of indicators (BSC) that are dynamic and in real time, in the same way to follow up on the objectives of work teams😀
Thank you for your comment, Luis! Always happy to help :)
Hi, thanks for sharing I think this is a very cool feature. Does this available at Pro license users?
You do need a Pro licence to author and share scorecards and goals, and perform check-ins. To view them you either need a Pro licence or be in a Premium capacity
Can you include historical data points of the 'current' value?
Hi Markus, all historical data for your goal will be included automatically if you connect your current value to a value in a report (which of course must have a history of data points). You can also create a manual goal and create a new "check in" for a date in the past.
If I'm using connected data that is already tied to a dataset that refreshes daily, do I have to set anything up for the data to refresh in the scorecard? Do I have to set a daily refresh up in this new dataset or in the settings on the goals page?
Goal values are updated as often as the dataset is refreshed, so you only need to set-up refreshes for the dataset itself (similarly to reports in Power BI Service)
Some segments in the video are stamped not adjacent to each other
Can you give some suggestions as to what kind of reports we can make from our scarecard dataset ?
That depends on what you would be interested to see! Some ideas that come to mind: - you could track how well certain team members are doing in progressing to reach the goals that are assigned to them e.g. I could own 5 goals and be on track on all 5 meanwhile another team member could have 15 goals assigned and be behind on more than a half of them; - track goals themselves e.g. number of goals on track, behind etc; - progress over time would be a great thing to show to uncover any possible trends and correlation between metrics; - highlighting any goals that are close to their due dates; Again, there is probably a million other possibilities, and I would recommend starting with asking yourself and your team members "what do we want to know?".
how to read a Target value from a Goal set in the Card visual?
As a Card visual can only hold one value at once, you could set its value as either Current or Target in your Goal. You can combine both connected values and manually typed values in one goal, so if you decided to use the value of your Card as Current, you could manually set the Target value, or alternatively crate a separate Card for target as well. I hope that answered your question, but please let me know if I can expand on anything :)
Thank you for posting the video, all the functionality looks great and I love the simplicity of tracking goals automatically by linking them to PowerBI. We are a medium size company with over 150+ managers responsible for different regions. Without the hierarchy I don't see how we can use this product. I understand the hierarchy feature will be included in next released but wondering if you have any suggestions. Thank you
Can you create a dynamic based on a filtered measure? Ex. : In a report you'd have a kpi with total sales, but you want your target to be total sales of France, but you dont want to create an individual kpi just for that.
Hi Jonathan! Yes, you can absolutely use filtered values from visuals for your goals. When creating a connected goal, you will need to select a filtered visual for e.g. France. This can be accomplished by either selecting a specific value in your slicer for Region (and only after applying the filter, selecting the visual you wish to use as your Goal), or by selecting your Revenue value from any other visual where values are categorised by regions. Please note that when using KPI and Gauge visuals for your goals, the only value that will be pulled is the actual value (min, max, goal values are not currently supported by Goals).
Well Done Intelogy
Thank you, this was insightful!
