I found your examples very interesting and informative. Thank you. Something that I would find helpful would be the amount of time put into each of these Dashboards that are seen on the Enterprise DNA Showcase site. Doesn't have to be exact, but a general amount of minutes or hours put into creating each one from "Get Data" to "Publish".

I think these are rather fun as well. But some of these are built using custom visuals that looks like. And without knowing what custom visuals are used is kind of hard for me to see how could I make something like this available to my customers.
At least in my company they want a lot of reporting but won't give us enough people to do it so when we see things like this having that additional resource would be helpful

Thanks for this video, it's fun to look at people who can really do this well. One question, if somebody could help me out. At 14:40, I'd like to create tabs like ones at the top of the page, those smooth, rounded half-trapezoids. But I can't figure out what shape to start with. Can anybody tell me how to make tabs that look like that?

      Hi Crawdad,
Thank you for posting your query onto our channel. We really appreciate you taking your valuable time to post it.
Well, you can create those types of shapes either inside Power BI by using the Shapes option and then smoothening edges via Format section or can create it inside PowerPoint as well.

Great video! Quick question is that filter with the option to type and search a custom visual?

    • @EnterpriseDNA
      @EnterpriseDNA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Song On,
Thank you for posting your query onto our channel.
Well, firstly we're not sure about which filter you're trying to highlight here and we're presuming you're talking about the first filter which is highlighted under the windows icons and for that the answer is - "No, that filter is used to dice and slice the data results". Using that filter you cannot search for custom visuals. In order to search the custom visuals, please go to the Power BI workspace and search it over there.

      Hi P L,
Thank you for posting your query onto our channel. We really appreciate you taking your valuable time to post it.
Well it's always a little bit difficult to judge and provide the results without looking at the data structure, model and working of the PBIX file for the reference. But we guess that you can create a date/time stamp column inside each file so that while applying the filters you'll be able to see the data for that particular week.

    Hello Sam.
I am happy to be one of your students.🙂
Please I am asking for your assistance.
I am having an issue where I am trying to calculate the difference between two columns that are in separate tables. Please note that there is a one-many relationship between the RelesedProducts table and the SalesPriceAgreents table.
How would I go about doing the calculation where the records are related?
The Price column comes from the SalesPriceAgreents table and SalePrice comes from the RelesedProducts table.
What I would like to achieve is a DAX measure that calculates SalesPrice - Price where records from both table are related.
    Thank you
