When it comes to birds, it’s easier to throw a towel or a shirt over their head it calms them down and makes it easier for you to get them untangled. This also helps not getting nipped by a pelican.

Yes perfect for camping. The only issue is there is no phone service and you're all alone down near the 20 mile marker. Migrant boats coming in sometimes down in that area so I would carry something to protect yourself. You can also camp as soon as you get on the beach. There will be more people until you pass the 5 mile marker then it starts thinning out. Best fishing on Padre is between the 20 and 30 mile marker or all the way down to the Jetties. I have camped in between the entrance and mile marker 5 before and had a blast. If you're needing phone service go on HWY 361 towards Port A and take beach access 2. Once on beach turn right. Good spots all the way to the jetties and less people then going left.

Coming down for the first time in September. Wanting to use artificial baits such as 3oz spoons like this. For a casting rod using artificial baits what size rod and reel do you use for this? Reel size? Rod length? Rod action (M? MH?) what pound test line? Love the videos!!!!

Your drone footage will grow your channel buddy! Take it Jetties and HC pier etc. and you will kill it. I think its legal as long as the drone is not flying over the beach. You are doing a great job for someone who has to work their ass off daily.

Why font you just start backing up to the shore line ,, and use some 30lb mono when you tie on a spoon never tie the braid straight to anything 26" of 30lb mono double uni knot and then loop knot to lure,,, fishing 101. ,, peace now RUN TO JESUS

Eight foot rod is what I use. Penn Battle 3 combo. Anything longer and I think you won't be happy

I use an eight foot rod and a pen battle three with twenty pound test line braided

A good way to keep the horse flies is to use sunscreen
Also ya that's around the spots I go, and it drives my wife crazy when I do that due to no cell service and being so remote
When fighting a fish that jumps keep your rod low it helps with controlling the fish causes less break offs
