Hey all there is a lot in this video especially my first time on the Seadoo Fishpro in the gulf. I didn't go far but at least I put her in the gulf. Check out my Patreon page for those who want up to date fishing reports, Catching saltwater fish species, surf reports and extra content not uploaded to TH-cam, have a blessed week !
If you climb up a higher dune you can get cell service if needed. If the sand condition is a mess you will not make all the way to the end in 4wd on a full tank of gas. We were out there in March when there was debris everywhere and the sand was horribly deep everwhere. We kept it in 4wd and we were down to 6mpg and we had to turn around at the 35 mile marker to make it back without running out of gas. We came out the next day and ran 2wd most of the way and only used 4wd as needed and we were able to make it to the end. We were in a expedition.
wow I have never had that issue with fuel and have been down there in deep sand. I usually go low tide when it wont be high until dark.
Awsome what he said about deflating tires, i have a 4 wheel drive and i never deflated. I just take my time and if somethjng does not look good then i don’t risk it.Good info also about camping and wind soeeds
Nice video. I'll definitely be making some trips out to surf launch soon. Won't be long before Kings start showing up.
You pulled a clip from Motoring Adventures lol 😂 He has a great channel too
Dang you really did a great ass job on this piece.
Thank you
Army style folding pick and shovel.
I enjoy your page very much. I lived on North Padre Island on a canal home in the early 90s before Packery Channel was open. I moved away for business and I'm retired now. I would love to live on the Island again, but the houses have become ultra expensive. Still, I'll probably come down to fish this summer. Thx for the info.
Thanks for watching and yes the island is expensive now. I would love to live out there
I recommend taking a good first aid kit with a lot of hydrogen peroxide and meat tenderizer for hardheads and jellyfish stings. Great video. Very informative. I’ll probably see you down there. 👍
I talked about that but had to cut it from video as it was getting too long
Thank you, most informative, educational…
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video, iv been waiting for you to do a video like this. Good job!
We like videos like this man 🤘
Awesome and informative video we appreciate all your footage and time!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
we should fish for some shark with my gear and your sea doo. you can even make a video of it.
I’ve been there. I’ve done that we’ve called that “packing sand” ain’t no way to get it all out. You just gotta pack it out with you.
Thanks for the tips and encouragement
I feel like a better person after watching this.
Pro tip.............. Air down your tires! Lower PSI gets ya better traction in the sand.
I have never had to air down my tires no matter how bad the sand is. I never see any of the locals doing this. You'll make it just fine having 4-wheel drive
Beautiful
Awesome stuff
Letting air out tires gives you better traction
Understand that but nobody down here ever does it that I can see and I have never had any issue with traction. Just seems like a waste of time to me.
@@texasbeachbum I agree I never done it myself either never had problem,
same here never had an issue with 2wd drive vehicle either. I have been 15 to 35mi and haven't used 4wd. I did upgrade to 4x4 last truck, but that's so I could get to the cabin in CO.
What mile marker would you say is pretty good fishing? The 20s
