Copy-and-paste to find your "N00-AllHair" folder:
C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\LocalLow\pixiv\VRoid Studio\custom_items\N00-AllHair
Or search through your computer for the folder.

I really don't like some of the changes, but... Your hairs are not showing up, cause you keep clicking on different hair part. You need to click on 'Overall Hair' and then custom. If you click on 'Front' or 'Back' it won't show up...

Idk why, but even when I use the overall hair to do the custom it keeps switching me back to the individual hair parts and won't let me save it as an overall hair
so cathartic hearing others are experiencing the same frustrations as me lol - updates are 3 steps forward, 2 back - it's nice all and all but certainly not worthy of being a "stable" release
I'm also glad to hear other people aren't liking this update; makes me feel sane haha

This is extremely confusing for me :( I found a preset that I like and it is a .Json file, Am I supposed to convert it in order for it to show up? Or would it just be easier to load up the beta version and make it there and c+v it into the newer version?
I would follow the 2nd half of the tutorial to load the beta hair, and covert the vroid file into the updated program.
The easiest is to just not use the updated Vroid Studio software
@@NinjaDee I watched your whole video and im still confused. I also found a hair i like on booth and its not even showing up in N00-AllHair. they are .json files too.
i really liked the new version of Vroid, it's not perfect, but have many features that are really good, but yeah hair presets are a pain now XD.
at least we can download the old version and use normal

how do you create hair with that "two tones/colors" like in your video in vroid studio? I'm having a hard time figuring it out, because of how the hairs are structured.
I have a separate tutorial in hair gradient from the Beta version. It still works the same way in V1
I would love to see a tutorial about how to bring a VROID model into the VR program Adobe Medium. Whenever I do it the mesh is totally changed. I don’t think its avoidable though because of polygons vs quads maybe?
Unfortunately I don't have experience with that program. Maybe you can find something on Google
I'm trying to use the bangs I made before the update with a hair back from this new one. My preset won't show up in bangs and I can't add hair back to overall hair... I really don't want to remake the hair back entirely, but I will if I can't get it to work.
Man that's crazy. I haven't tried making a hair in the updated version and am sticking to beta for now
i started with this version because Beta didn't have the things i wanted. but this one seems to have less export options.
What export options are you looking for?
so I got one question. I made a 3D belt with the hair in the 1.0 version and no matter what ill do, the belt moves with the head. So for example if my avatar is looking up the belt isn't even on the body anymore. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
You have to use Unity and rerigg the belt. I have a tutorial on how I do it called, 'rigging tails in unity'

V1 is easiest to create a vtuber with all the free assets they give you; but beta is easier to create from scratch

You cannot do it in the newer version of VRoid Studio

I downloaded a preset that came as a .vroid file. I have no idea how to put it in, it just loads up the old version of vroid. I hate this update so much.
You can update the model from beta version to the V1 update. But honestly, if the hair was made in beta, it's best to edit it in the beta
im using the up to date version, but when i try to import presets in the custom hairs it only shows freehand and procedural and not a wat to import the hairs. It's a little confusing, and I don't know how to import the hair.
What file type is the hair that you're trying to import? It could mean you're using BETA hairs

Can you find the folder where vroid downloaded in your PC? It'll be in there
any way to export this as .obj or anything?
In blender or unity, you may be able to save the VRM as an OBJ
hi im sorry if this is a dumb or confusing question but if anyone could help me i'd be really thankful!! im making my own model rn. it's my first time using v1, i have some experience using the beta. i created horns in the extras part of the hair, and then just today i made a beret hat in the extras as well. my intention was to have both at the same time, but it only lets you choose one extra custom hair thing. does anyone know if theres a way to combine them, or even just like export one of them so that i can.. import it onto the other to have it as one single custom thing? i wish there was like a copy and paste thing but i can't find anything like that. i'd rather not remake one of them by scratch but i guess if there's nothing i can do about it the horns would probably be easier to remake haha
There is a way to combine hairs in beta, but idk if it works in V1
@@NinjaDee thank you for the reply! yeah i looked around a bit more and tried googling it and in the end i just remade the beret on my horn preset haha. it wasn't as bad as i thought so it worked out okay! and this way i have one with both and one with just the horns so i can make more outfits ^^
well is there a way to make a json file show up in the custom hairs? My beta version wont work at all with the hair presets and it's very annoying so is there a way to import hair presets into the new vroid studio without the beta ver?
Was the hair present made in beta or V1? If made in beta, it has to be used in beta. And visa versa. You can put the beta hair on a beta model, and then convert the whole model into V1, but editing it will be a pain
1:30 I am not getting that, my hair is only being saved in the individual back and front section of hair editor
They've updated this stable version a couple times since I made the tutorial, so maybe they changed it. I can't confirm as I don't work in the stable
I'm saving the same exact problem. It keeps switching it in custom. Pls let me know if you've found a way around it

@@NinjaDee VROIDSTUDIO_DATA MONOBleedingEdge and VROIDstudio_Debuginformation and there are no sub folders inside them, i also use the steam version dont know if it makes a difference or not.

Guys, who knows why the graphics tablet does not work in vroid ..?
My tablet works, so I can only assume it's your tablet having issues connecting with VRoid

@@carmencolby6936 i downloaded the beta version to copy the hair then import the model with the hair to the new version then copy the hairstyle

how did you make the hair come back? I speak Portuguese and I couldn't understand it very well, it seems like you said to press the "z" key in that part of overall but it didn't work when I did this
