I was under the impression you'd have to move it to another software like blender to make changes like that. Also, would it be possible to give a model scrunchies in vroid? you can go to the texture panel under any editor and export a specific texture (like face skin) and then edit it in an alternate program, save it as a png and import it back into vroid

That's possible! Models from the beta version can be easily converted to the newer version, the beta models should be there when you boot up the new version, clicking on one will give you the option to convert it

i've had a lot of trouble with the default 'highlight' setting vroid has for hair textures...I'll have to play around some more and see if I can figure out how to turn it off
Your Vroid has dark mode? I had no idea that was even a thing since mine was on dark by default. Try looking for a program settings window, maybe an option to toggle it to dark would be in there somewhere?
I'm aware it's a little hard to find in the latest version and I'm kinda upset at vroid for that. If I remember correctly you can acsess the hair editor by right-clicking a hair item in the right habd window
@@gamerpuzzle7242 I figured it out. Click on any of the hair categories (Aka bangs, ahoge) And switch from the "presets" window to the "custom" window. You're in the presets window by defealt. When you're in the Custom menu you should see a button with the "+" icon, click that and you're in the hair editor!

You can edit all the textures inside of vroid but you can edit textures externally and import them into vroid. Thanks for watching!

Select the 'straight' option in the curve menu, it should be the second button underneath the hair parameters section

Yes canvas size is important because the wrong size can deform the textures. In default canvases in SAI the a4 size works perfectly
because you showed how you do hair it urged me to find out how to make my own hair so i searched in settings for like 30 min. straight XD

You can give a spiky impression by making the hair in multiple layers and play with the shape of the hair mesh. Looking at references helps out a ton!
