I am sorry to say one thing that it is a wrong information that Tilicho is having the highest altitude in the world. Please check the information carefully. Even the Gurudongmar lake(5182m) is at higher altitude than this lake. There are other lakes even at higher altitudes.
Tilicho Tal is nowhere the highest lake in Nepal, even less in the world. For example the glacial Imja Tse Tal sits at 5026 meters and the highest Gokyo lakes are at 5157 m. There are several lakes at over 6000 meters in Chile.
I have some queries 1. The trek needs guide? Is it mandatory? If yes, can you provide me contact number of some of guides? 2. Can it be done from Manang only? Or from any other place? If yes, kindly guide in details (start to end, total number of days, expenditure as a budget trekker, etc)

it took 3 days for us from kathmandu to tilicho lake,you can check out my vlogs day1 day2 and day 3 too if you are interested to go
