@100percentjake hopped up a 3.8L supercharged Park Avenue on his channel that might help with finding parts for your "antique". He did it on a budget of few dollars on a free car as well👍
It's fine those are future classics I like those GTP's I Blew one up it was a rust bucket with 250,000 when I was 15 the transmission died best $800 spent
Welcome to the SC 3800 party Buff. Check out ZZP. For all the 3800 stuff. I recommend a 3.5 pulley and an intercooler, a cold air intake, one step cooler plugs and a u bend delete for the exhaust. I went from a 14.6 quarter mile at 94 down to a 14.1 at 100 just withe those 3 or 4 mods. Always use 91 or higher octane. I use 93. For the transmission I think you can have ZZP tune your pcm to your liking
@@BuffsGarage I'm sure it will be, I have a soft spot for the gm w bodies, I revived a 97 monte carlo a few years ago and regretted selling it but needed room for 81 LUV project
@@BuffsGarage nice I learned to drive manual in a 90 isuzu pickup, my LUV is a 2.2L diesel 4 speed 4x4, I'm in process of swapping toyota axles under it

Sounds like a good time to me!
Those 3800 make the most power between 150 and 180 degree coolant temp. And intake temps below 75 degrees. I suggest a 180 degree t stat
No doubt that’ll be an easy upgrade
I miss the farm, wish my parents still had it. Great video brother.
Thanks Eric.. it’s usually a peaceful place to just enjoy family and relax.. but during harvest, it’s hopping! (And hot!!)

Thank you for all the info. I’ll definitely be looking to do some of those mods in the near future.
He's going to be dragged into the 3800 cult, weather he likes it or not.

When you say “high-end,” do you mean repair cost? Frequency in the shop? Herb use for owning one? Just wondering. 😂

You've right. Never say "no" to mom. 😊 That's a bummer that someone stole your tires. Absolutely time to move. Good luck.
