Hi there Nancy I wasnt quite sure which question to answer first lol but Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Ok sooooo lets begin ...... Im going to answer all your questions here rather than individually as best I can :) I do think that loving the vintage look helps you to achieve it as you tend to have an eye for it, much like those who like shabby chic styles etc etc. If its in your heart you will achieve the best results :) My Printer is an HP Envy which uses the Instant Ink Programme. Now I love it and it prints beautifully but I wish I could afford a Laser printer and the inks. I coffee dye my papers and I like the coffee quite strong but as I start to get towards the end of whats in my tray I add more water to eek it out so there fore it becomes a weaker colour. The glossy accents I squeeze straight onto the image and use the neck of the bottle like the nib of a pen and just keep running the nib in a logical way around the shape. The knack is not to shake the bottle at any point as that can create air bubbles inside the bottle and as im moving the 'nib' around I try not to remove it and try to do it all in one go and deff leave over night to dry and sometimes longer if its a large piece. It may be dry on top but under the surface its still gooey ( maybe I ill do a tutorial sometime lol ) Like most things in life it takes practice and trust me ive messed a fair few pieces up along the way. Does any of that help? Thanks for the great questions :) x
