I'm watching you make your ghost pockets. What a good idea ! These are so cool. I love all of your ideas that I've seen. I pretty much kniw I'm going to like it even before it's finished. I love your creativity. You've got so much style to your peices. It's like it's dripping off your fingers into your projects !!!
Carol, hi. I've just watched your Jane Austen video and asked about your ripped pockets. By luck I've also just watched this interesting tutorial and it has answered that question. Can't wait to give it a go. Thanks so much. This is really helpful and I will be calling them Carol's ghost pockets :-)
This is a terrific idea! I had constant problems with the idea of covering up even the smallest piece of a beautiful image even though I wanted a pocket or tuck spot. This solves my problem! I've just watched 4 of your videos in a row now....decided to subscribe so I don't lose track of you. I love tutorials...keep doing them, please.
I like to do this too. Most times, i cut a slit in the page where the pocket will be, and put a small circle punch at each end of it. Then it is backed usually with a page glued on the other side, or just an emblishmet to form a pocket and cover it on the back side of the page. I think the way you do it is faster and easier, lol. unless gluing the pages to book pages in a book. You how you do, glue two pages together, the pull some out, glue 2 together? I turn those glue 2 together into pockets.
Hi LaSharown, I know you asked several months back but these kits never go out of fashion so I'm answering :) It's the Jane Austen Digital kit on Etsy and the seller's name is Calico Collage.
Thats a lovely printable you have used. Wouldnt mind purchasing it myself, if you would be so kind to share the link please? Yes, ive done this before for tuck spots. It gives more interest to the journal/album, doesnt it. XTibbyX
