when you first turned the video into B&W it reminded me of of the show Lasse, I guess you had the June Lockhart look
I look at pictures of my mother from the 1950's and she was always dressed so elegantly, especially with her white gloves. I loved that men wore hats too. A more sophisticated and appealing time.

I have that tea set as well! And I also inherited them from my grandmother, along with the Lady Carlyle set. They occasionally pop up in movies and tv shows like The Princess Diaries and Miss Marple. It pleases me immensely to know I have the same tea set as Bertram’s Hotel :D

We have almost the same sets! My grandmother also gave us a "Lady Carlyle" set and a similar one to "Old Country Roses" called "Celebration". So precious! I hope that my grandchildren will be able to have great things I invested in one day, too, like we got from our grandparents. I don't think it's always a priority any more - nowadays our money goes to Netflix and data. And ugly mugs 😅

Sometimes I think of you when I’m drinking my elderberry tea I have a tea pot that is royal Albert. I also play June’s journey with my daughter in-law. Such creativity. So cool! My sister worked at spiegels in Chicago. This so mesmerizing. Even the atomic clock in the background reminds me of my mother’s dining area. This is very creative. Thank you for sharing. 😊

I inherited my great-grandmother tea set, it’s from the 1930s and I love it ! The sugar bowl and teapot are enormous because it serves 12, so I don’t use it as much as I wish

Oh my goodness Jeannie! Your videos are so well done! I find them entertaining, relaxing and stylish. Obviously, you invest a great deal of time, planning and effort to ensure that your videos are top-notch. In 1964, I was eight years old. We had a local ladies fashion store that ran a very local TV show entitled "Fashions For My Lady"(in black & white) their production had all the same elements as your video-soft, relaxing voice and hands holding jewelry and small apparel items. That this was my first experience with ASMR! BTW, You have a beautiful smile which goes so well with your great looking hairstyle. Thank you for creating such wonderful content. My grandmother became an avid collector after she bought her first Royal Albert tea set on her honeymoon in 1959.
She split a similar set to "Old Country Roses" called "Celebration" between my mother and my aunt. Tea just tastes so much better in a "real" tea cup like that!
She also gave my mom a Lady Carlyle set as a wedding present. All but one cup was lost in an accident (because they were stored and not used!) but I was able to replace them - I marked the OG cup which was my grandmother's to remember, though 😊
