I've been putting this chore off for well over a year now - and today is the day I finally organize my travel/toiletry bag - from 6 bags down to 1 so that I can grab it and toss it into my suitcase. No more wondering if I have everything, only to find out I DON'T (due to being disorganized.)

What life wisdoms would you like to give your children and grandchildren and people watching?
Ask your mom what her favourite invention has been over her lifetime. My grandmother is in her 90’s and I often think about how much change she has seen over the years.

I am recovering from a liver transplant and have been filled with anxiety about the whole process. I came across your ASMR videos searching for a way to relax without medication. I have to tell you that the videos have been a tremendous source of relaxation. Thank you!

I dont have any question suggestions but I think its a good idea. I interviewed my grandma about her life a few years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. She passed away half a year later and I was the only family member who knew how granddad and her met, how her school life was, and how it was being a female business owner in the 1950s because no one had bothered to ask and document it. She might not be here anymore but I have hours of audio of her talking about her life and its very comforting.

Hello - you have shown a lovely photo before of when your mum was younger. It would be nice to see photos of her through different periods of her life and what her memories are of the time of those photos. Thank you
Ask her what it was like to deal with losing her mother at such a young age and how did she cope? Who were the influencers in her life after she lost her mom? Did she continue to keep a relationship with her dad after she went to live with her aunt? How did it affect her during those times when things were different when there was no counseling or anything you kind of just had to pick up and move on… How did she cope and how did she feel and how did it affect her? And her brother?
Ask your mom if she could change one thing back into time what would it be ? Stores, restaurants ; anything that she feels we need in society today 🥰

I am always interested in what girls played at school. For example, did she and her playmates jump rope or play hopscotch or do hand clapping games? Cats cradle, marbles, tag, baseball and so on. Does she remember being in a school play? Did she go to a one-room schoolhouse and what was that like? Thank you.

Hi Jeannie, I would love to know your mother’s favorite smell and food from her childhood. These are things that have been found to trigger a lot of memories even when a person has begun to get forgetful so I think it could bring some amazing stories. Best wishes to you both

I just wanna let you know, that I really appreciate that you're going to do this with your mother. It's heartwarming and soothing to kinda participate in your happy family through your videos.
My family and I lost our granny last year at the age of 77 and tho we took many pictures, I deeply wish I had done something like your planning to to. 💔

My mom always tells me how the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City made her realize how humanity when faced in tragedy can come together to help each other. To do what they can for one another.

What parenting tip can she share after being a parent and grandparent.
My question would be what is one of those special/fav memories of you and her.
I am not old at all but did lose grandparents to illnesses, and I regret not trying to video moments with them. Just to see them moving around and hear their voices, it would probably upset me but in a happy way. So interviewing your mother is a wonderful idea.

I agree, being a late in life child with older grandparents, I wish I could have more photos or videos of mine, all I have are a few trinkets, photos from obituary, and one photo from a relative's profile that I found. Mainly because our family had been shunned from them for cruel reasons right before they passed, and the disconnect has extended on future generations as well. We try to visit the gravesite once a year though,(out of state) so we have that liberty at least.

Omg that would be so wonderful. I lost my mother when I was 15 and I do not remember a lot sadly. I do have lots of pictures. I wish that I could have had the opportunity to do that with my mother, aunt and grandmother. This video is freaking me out Jeannie……
1. My father was a Jockey.
2. My mother died of cancer when I was 15

We have the Litter Robot. It’s nice because it does the sifting and we just change the bag.
How do you end up having all these bags filled with usable items for years without checking or using any of that ??
We travel a lot, so having several is no big deal.

I just lost both of my dear grandparents within 4 months of each other at the end of 2022. I asked my Gram a question every Monday the last 2 years of her life and typed her response or story. Now that she and my sweet Papa are both gone it is one of my most precious documents. You will not regret doing this. I would like to hear Grandma's love story. ❤️ and also how she remembers the years of WW2. I would be very Interested in that. Especially being in California. My grands lived in rural Kentucky at that time. Thanks for letting us share your mom. She is a treasure!

I am always so delighted to see a new video up from you. I really enjoyed this one as do I of all the others. You always make me feel so content and calm. You are a special lady. I adored seeing your mom in the last video. The one thing I'd like to know from a vibrant lady of 85 is, how do you keep going? So active! Where does that spark come from! I'm 48 with health issues and find it hard at times to stay positive. ASMR has helped me a lot. YOU have helped me A LOT. I am very grateful. PS, the lipstick looked great! Love from Canada 🇨🇦
