I don't know what I did wrong with this recipe but it came out rather interesting. I followed the recipe exactly using my food scale but the dough was extremely wet and unable to be worked with so I had to keep adding flour. After adding so much flour, I thought the taste would be too strong so I used psyllium husk until the dough formed. The taste of it alone as it is pretty meh (my fault likely ik lol) but the texture is very spot on to real bread imo once cooled completely. They toasted up great and I am actually thinking to make them into bagels lol. I know I botched this recipe but want to thank you for sharing anyways!! Ty 😀
My gosh you made a great video! I subscribed and will check into your videos. I really like how you presented the material. You are a natural. I haven’t really liked most coconut flour recipes but am curious to try this for the low carb content. Thank you!
Yea, I am more interested in the inside texture. Is is crumby due to almond flour or coconut flour? Is it heavy, dense? I'm looking for a real good recipe and so many didt show inside and I made many loafs of bread from different places and they were either like angel food spongy inside or crumb and dry. I want to see before I try more recipes.
As much as it would have been nice to see the inside, it does look mighty delicious and I like the simple ingredients. Thanks for sharing as I will certainly be trying this delicious looking bread. The best part is it’s very easy to do. Great stuff. 😀❤
Looks delicious! Another winner!! The bread also makes me think of meatballs with provolone sandwich. Have you ever done a video on a Philly Cheesesteak? Thank you, Janet!
Thank you. Yes I have a recipe for Philly Cheesesteak janetsdeliciouslowcarbkitchen.com/easy-5-minute-keto-philly-cheesesteak/ and meatball sandwiches.
Very nice video instructions, I was just waiting till you show how it holds when you slice and unfortunatelly it's not in the video. That sandwich at the end is from 1 sliced bread or it's 1 bread over the other bread?
Hello dear Janet. Is there a possibility to replace the coconut flour ? I really do no like its taste in bread, although I would try out any bread recipe, and your looks yummy.
There really is no one to one substitute for coconut. It is very unique in the way it absorbs liquid. Sometimes oat fiber or bamboo fiber will work but you probably would still have to adjust the liquid. Maybe try a combination of coconut flour with oat fiber. I have done this and it cuts down a lot on the coconut taste
Hello Janet, I have a question about the 400 degrees. My oven has a maximum temperature of 250 degrees. Is it the correct temperature that you specify? Thank you...
Janet I went to about 6 Keto bread sites and yours was most promising because the others talked for 10 minutes before starting but then you spent a lot of time greasing the two tins that I gave up. We don’t need to see you do it all. I’m interested in seeing the recipe made not the rest of it. I may check back but hope my feedback is ok. You were best until the tins. Thank you though. Your bread looks great. 💕
I haven't tried cooking this in an air fryer but as a general rule if you reduce the heat by 25 degrees and shorten the cooking time it will work. The texture will most likely be different
No unfortunately coconut flour cannot be substituted with any other flour. It is very absorbent and requires a lot more liquid and binders. This is a quick bread and makes a small loaf so it is not suitable for a bread machine
@@elizabethpecina4426 Be very careful cooking or baking with aluminum (unless you fully line with parchment). Aluminum is associated with Alzheimer's.
looks good, would have liked to see the bread sliced and check out the crumb
*It's wonderful to have a low carb alternative to traditional Italian bread. Can't wait to try making my own!*
Thank you. I hope you enjoy this when you make it.
I plan to try this. It looks like a good recipe. I just wish you would show us the inside of the bread after you cut it. It helps to see the texture.
Yes this is an older video in my newer videos I do show the inside. I hope this turns out to your liking when you try it 😊
Thank you so much for the measurement conversations 🎉❤

Thanks for sharing.ill try this

You didn’t show the bread the inside just yourself eating it. It makes a huge difference.

She replied to every other statement.
Looks yummy! How does this bread toast? Thanks
If you toast this in the oven or broiler it will toast nicely. Just brush with a little butter or oil before toasting to get the crusty texture.

What makes this Italian!
I wonder what is this baking powder if it's not some dry yeast. What's it used for? It has another less magical name? Cheers
The baking powder is the leavening/rising agent and the instant yeast is just for flavor in this recipe
@@JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen Merci Janet !

Hello Janet, I have a question about the 400 degrees. My oven has a maximum temperature of 250 degrees. Is it the correct temperature that you specify? Thank you...
Yes you bake these at 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 205 degrees Celsius
Looks delicious but lots of carb for keto diet

Can you cook in a ninja air fryer

does it taste of coconut?
Coconut flour baked goods always has a slight coconut taste but adding the yeast and dry spices that I add helps A LOT to tone the coconut taste down
Maybe a nutritional yast is better if it is only for a breas flavor.
Yes nutritional yeast will work. It gives the bread a cheesy taste
1:15 video actually starts
is the intro music from Bojack Horseman?
I'm not sure . It's called "Baroque Coffee House "
What is the carb count?
I added some nutritional information to the bottom of the written recipe 1 half inch thick slice of bread has roughly about 1 gram of net carbs
Who cares!
Could this be used as pizza crust?
Yes it could. I have a couple recipes for pizza crust if you'd like to check them out.
Im still not sure why it's 'italian bread'
Can I use almond flour or flaxseed meal instead of coconut flour? Can I use a bread machine instead of oven?

Can you sub almond flour for the coconut flour?

Just made this, used 2 alfoil takeaway containers, looks good, I'm wondering about total net carbs?

Plese! Excuse me! You wrote “ yeast free “! Because of that, I don't understand why there is written yeast in the recipe!
The yeast is optional. I use it for flavor but the recipe tastes just fine without it
Nut free bread, the first ingredient is cocoNUT flour.
Coconut is not a not it is a fruit from the drupe family
Haven't you seen a coconut dear? Coconut is not a nut. 🥥
Please specify, Fahrenheit or Celsius, thanks, not everyone is from America. And that's the longest time I've ever seen a mould being oiled!
“Italian bread”😂
Looks like a slipper 😂, sure it tastes good though
Made the bread today following exactly the recepie . It didn't turn out good all cracked and falling apart .
I used to make Italian bread. This is nothing like it. It is typical flat, dense, miniature pretend Keto bread, an absurd counterfeit.
I see nothing absurd here except a comment maybe..
looks good! I’d love to know where to get those molds you used to bake the bread in. 🩵💛🩵
