S1- Being in almost the exact situation as OP, I would love to have a gf (I've been single all my 28 years of life) appreciate my hobbies and call my family out on their bs. My parents absolutely hate my hobbies and belittle/ban me from doing them, calling them (you guessed it) a waste of time.

I can put on a wig and go full pronoun bitch besides calling them out on their bullshit, if you want 😅

That husband should have told his wife about his sister's peanut allergy and trying to turn the blame on her by saying she should have asked? Worthless man!

In the second story, she needs to get out. Tragically, she feels like she can’t get out.

I will never understand why some of these people let it get so bad when comes to their families. They treat you like crap and take advantage of you but you can’t go NC because family. Glad some finally do it but is seems like they are the minority.

I think it's because that is the only life/family they know since childhood, so changing something that you've been conditioned to tolerate must be difficult no matter how much they get mistreated.

If you go back your husband will rationalize it that you approved of what he did. He will always hit first and ask questions later. Next thing he's going to be accusing you of adultery. See if they have a shelter in your town you can go to

2nd story- Never. 🙌 Take. 🙌 Counseling or Therapy. 🙌 With. 🙌 An abuser!! 🙌
Seriously, it will only give the abuser MORE tools to torment you with AND teaches them how to better hide the abuse! Don't stay with them! Get away ASAP!
